I feel much more relaxed at the moment watching your walk through nature. Hearing the water, seeing the leaves dribbling down, hearing your soft voice and laughter, hearing the crunch of the leaves as you walk over them. I feel I can smell the crispness of autumn there and I can smell the pine needles as you can. I will always thank the waving leaves on the trees for cheering me on from now on🍁. Thank you, Kate!

I love the clapping leaves analogy! To me, it is as though they are waving to all of creation and dancing to the beautiful breezes that blow through them. It was nearly 80 degrees here, also, yesterday in the Susquehanna Valley. I went for a lovely hike in the woods at a nearby state park. It was glorious! I saw so many of the last little warblers that pass through this area during Autumn (Yellow Rumped Warblers), and they make me so happy with their adorable, little sounds and flitting movements through the trees. I was able to get some phenomenally beautiful pictures of the trees reflecting in the water this past week. I went crazy just snapping away. I love the beautiful place you visited and shared with us....just gorgeous! Thank you for taking us there with you. Keep connecting with nature, and all that is truly meaningful and pure in life, and I'm sure you will do fine with your changes. Sending love, light, and beautiful colors your way!

Seasonal changes are essential for a healthy spiritual existence in harmony with Nature for me. Vere minimal humidity, ticks or skeeters here though. Not crying. Take care dear.

If I didn't know better I would think you were in Kentucky. The beautiful leaves, water and nature trails are so reminiscent of my childhood memories in KY. After 30 years of teaching coming to an end in May 2024, I will be returning to the beauty like in your videos. Thank you for sharing. I'm Australian and envy your beautiful fall colours. I hope to be able to imitate this on a smaller scale and plant many deciduous trees for a tiny bit of that joy of watching the change in colours and the connection to the changing season. I find change easier to manage when i can see the cyclical nature of Mother Nature in action too, it makes it seem normal instead of chaotic. Hugs
I love pine cones! As autumn is here, I have a basketful I painted copper, brass & bright gold. When Christmas comes, I put out cones I painted textured white & silver with pearls and ribbons. Nature makes the best decorations!

What a beautiful video. I'm so glad you're feeling better. I know the struggle personally. We are kindred spirits with regards to being sensitive, introverted and nature lovers. I'm recuperating from a knee replacement and before that, arthritis pain has kept me from walking, so thank you for taking me along...autumn is my favorite season. You've inspired me to do something with all the pinecones in my backyard...a small yard, but it came with 4 evergreens that drop 2 types of cones. My husband hates having to pick them up to mow, lol. Your videos bring me so much joy...thank you.

Beautiful video, thank you Kate, I always feel so calm by water, like you. Those leaves ARE clapping you, and cheering you on to be happy! The colours all around are stunning. We put our clocks back in England last night, and it feels odd today, until we get used to the change of hour. Has been pouring rain, then the lovely sun comes out, and the sky is blue - very changeable weather, but the temperature here is 11 degrees c, which is 51 degrees f, so much cooler than where you are, but still quite mild for here in West Devon, England. I spend as much time as possible with bare feet, to earth myself, and only put boots or shoes on to walk Madge, my rescue greyhound - I feel it is so good for us to walk bare foot as much as possible. I love that you said the weather was warm, as my favorite time of year is the beginning of Autumn when Summer keeps peeking back in refusing to say good-bye. As for Nature being a teacher I can testify that in my own life, I’ve also learned how seamless and on time the Seasons are. He teaches us to be like the lilies of the field and the birds not worrying or being anxious. We are all beautiful in our changes just like Nature is. Autumn is my favourite time of year. It’s just glorious. I love how the wind rustles through the trees when I am walking through my enchanted forest. It smells like nothing else in this world. It’s just too short, don’t you think? 🍁🍂🍁
I loved the park you were walking in. We have a park in Ashland Oregon called Lithia and it is a lot like that also. It was designed by the family that did the Golden Gate State Park in San Francisco. I take the bus over and walk there several times a month. Just so beautiful. Your Hudson Valley is as beautiful as ours. The Rogue River valley it is truly beautiful. When I see you walking, I feel like I should be grabbing my bike and taking a wee ride. Which I think I will to the west of me stop at a favorite series of stores here and get some Halloween candy. Have a blessed day and not too spooky of a Halloween.

Your filming of nature on your daily walks is beautiful. I also try to walk daily in a natural park near where I live in South Florida. I find it calms the body & the mind.
What a beautiful video. I'm so glad you're feeling better. I know the struggle personally. We are kindred spirits with regards to being sensitive, introverted and nature lovers. I'm recuperating from a knee replacement and before that, arthritis pain has kept me from walking, so thank you for taking me along...autumn is my favorite season. You've inspired me to do something with all the pinecones in my backyard...a small yard, but it came with 4 evergreens that drop 2 types of cones. My husband hates having to pick them up to mow, lol. Your videos bring me so much joy...thank you.

I am leaning toward o more quiet peaceful spirit ness almost like a monk but it seems wonderful to me because I was the loud girl the look at me girl the fun girl and I’m tired now I love nature better than crowds quiet better than noise nature more that cities. Beautiful video, thank you Kate, I always feel so calm by water, like you. Those leaves ARE clapping you, and cheering you on to be happy! The colours all around are stunning. We put our clocks back in England last night, and it feels odd today, until we get used to the change of hour. Has been pouring rain, then the lovely sun comes out, and the sky is blue - very changeable weather, but the temperature here is 11 degrees c, which is 51 degrees f, so much cooler than where you are, but still quite mild for here in West Devon, England. I spend as much time as possible with bare feet, to earth myself, and only put boots or shoes on to walk Madge, my rescue greyhound - I feel it is so good for us to walk bare foot as much as possible. This was beautiful, thanks for sharing! The colors were at peak here then on Wed the dark/rainy/wet settled in, now a hard freeze and it's hard to adjust. I love that you said the weather was warm, as my favorite time of year is the beginning of Autumn when Summer keeps peeking back in refusing to say good-bye. As for Nature being a teacher I can testify that in my own life, I’ve also learned how seamless and on time the Seasons are. He teaches us to be like the lilies of the field and the birds not worrying or being anxious. We are all beautiful in our changes just like Nature is. If we are present living in the moment than the past or future can not be a worry. You’re looking so beautiful Kate! Even though the video was short it was filled with beauty, wonder, and wisdom. I loved the park you were walking in. We have a park in Ashland Oregon called Lithia and it is a lot like that also. It was designed by the family that did the Golden Gate State Park in San Francisco. I take the bus over and walk there several times a month. Just so beautiful. Your Hudson Valley is as beautiful as ours. The Rogue River valley it is truly beautiful. When I see you walking, I feel like I should be grabbing my bike and taking a wee ride. Which I think I will to the west of me stop at a favorite series of stores here and get some Halloween candy. Have a blessed day and not too spooky of a Halloween.

That avenue of red trees was stunning and you seemed to have the whole area to yourself. Bliss. I am enjoying Headspace too, mainly the sleep cast meditations as I have trouble switching off (well maybe stop watching videos late into the night and go to bed then Sarah! OKAY?? ).
