I'm 10 seconds in and this dude's reaction is making my day. 🤣 Love from Ireland.

@@erwinorellano34 Your grandfather was a BAMF.
This was my choice for my first dance at my wedding decades ago lol
I'm black and I'm here to testify this was a guaranteed party starter no matter your ethnic background 🎉
Still is
No doubt!!!!

Say it again! 🤣♥
I agree and im a "Honkie" from Scotland
Oh my goodness this is my absolute favorite reaction video ever. I laughed so hard, I’m 60, white and female (and Irish) I thought everyone knew this song 🤷🏼♀️ best ever 🎉☘️
I keep coming back to this one! 63 yo female here just laughing my arse off!
"why didn't you let me know the white people was getting this funky".... I'm crying! 🤣🤣🤣
This song was BIG for Gen X. Didn't you know we were like this? Went to a party in NYc one time that had to be stopped. People were jumping so hard, they literally collapsed the floor. 2nd storey of the building.
Funny you say that.. I always deemed this song as the heart attack or hurt song.
Gen X rules 👊 😁 👍
@@lexidecimal9941YES SIR!💪😎👍🏻
"Didn't you know we we like this?"
I love how many youngsters just don't.
Awesome!
This is played at every bar/party on Saint Patrick’s day.If you’re not jumping to this song, you have no soul ☘️💚
Getting plenty of play time right now!
Its pretty much played everywere its a universally known song
Big spider at 2min 21 secs on his right hand side. Did anyone else see it? Was it a spider?
@@teddi1375yes, i saw aa well,it could be :)
Good music is good music regardless of the colour of one’s skin. If it makes you move, go with it.
Regardless, yes! But there is nothing wrong with bringing that up. We all see it, come on.
@Craig O'malley He can't help it. The mass media have everyone, and especially black Americans, 'narrowly pigeonholed' and mentally enslaved to their media-contrived "black culture". It's a very effective tool to control them. Of course, any individual can choose instead to think outside of the box. But for most, that challenge proves to be too much.
Music has no race.
True
Amen !!!!
Seriously.... I'm going back to the Fredo twins, this guy makes TOO many assumptions about White ppl....not gonna say the r word but he lost MY business and I'm always open to anything and anyone.....peace out says this 58 yr old white woman, I'm all about talent, I don't see color.... apparently THIS clown does.....no harm...
Gzactley!!!!!
A f**king men!
Cypress Hill turned this song down and said give it to House of Pain and I’m so glad he did because this will forever be a classic!
So who wrote the song?
@@jeanpoma5485 DJ MUGGS of Cypress Hill made the beat. Everlast wrote the lyrics.
Cube passed on the beat too
Yea but the beat didnt have that iconic errr in it at the time. But I'm glad to cuz Everlast ripped this shit! It also didn't have the chorus Everlast and dj muggs did! Soul Assassins!!!!
I met Danny Boy outside the hall they played when they opened up for the Beastie Boys in 1992. He sat and listened to me for 15 minutes making a fool out of myself (I was drunk). He was the nicest guy.
Lol. Sounds like a cool guy.
Probably pro-IRA as well
Yo...they both was the SHIT in the 90's!!!
Great memory!
Saw that tour as well, they had L7 opening for them. What a concert!
I'm a 53 year old white woman who grew up in the military and has lived all over the country and in Germany and I knew this song and this group! Music has no color! Great reaction. I'll have to check out your channel
I am 57 and was in the Air Force when this came out. I got back from Germany and also Desert Storm to my last assignment in California when this song dropped.
Irish girl here damn straight we loved this song! House of Pain forever!
@Cathal HUGE...HUGE as fuk Man....! We thought it was the best thing ever,... Stereotypes for idiots!
@Cathal I don't know where you got your information from but you are completely wrong. Danny Boy & Everlast both are Irish just DJ Lethal is Latvian-Jewish.
WUTANGFOREVER
that's how we kicked it back in the 80s
Where'd he think we got term "wife beater" T shirt?? H's missing the video..
I was 22 when this song came out, living my best life and let me tell you at the club and a house party. I went to when this song came on. It was so beautiful to see all of us from all races just jumping in singing together. One of your commenters said music has no race and they are 💯 correct! By the way, some of us white people actually do have rhythm lol
Same, I was 21 hitting the clubs, college parties etc. damn good times
Same here. Just starting to experience the bar and club scene. What a time to be there too!
Me too!
Shit I was 10 and loving it then. Lol
Not exactly. The Beastie Boys were rapping in the 80's, Vanilla Ice was 1990/1991, House of Pain was 1992!
Everlast had his first album in 88 so...a lil B4 vanilla but I also heard ice ice baby took 4 years till it hit radio so that would be 87
@@thewarriorcotp4509 But was that under House of Pain, because they're different? He was the lead to HOP, but had a solo career afterwards as well.
@@stonemansteveiii3135 he was solo Everlast too b4 house of pain ice t was his Dre
Vanilla Ice. Lol
@@MrSuperdave75 Laugh all you want but Vanilla Ice has a No. 1 song and has sold millions of records. His music is better than most of the garbage out today.
I'm currently 49 and am happy to say I grew up when Hip-Hop was just starting out. Early, mid and late 80s was the bomb. Then the 90s it progressed. Even though I'm a New Yorker for the most part we loved West Coast Cypress Hills around here. Watching you do this reaction video was great!
Actually, Hip Hop was just starting to go mainstream in the 80s. It was gaining ground in the late 70s. Sugarhill Gang hit the airwaves with Rappers Delight (an iconic classic, heavily sampled), in 1980.
This is back when Larry Bird was dropping fools in his golden years (last season) in Boston and House of Pain were the shit, man.
I'm English and a huge birdman fan. I wasn't really that much into basketball. Just loved Larry making people look like mugs.
And coming from a big irish family, well Boston ...it's a Irish thing..😎
The double meaning of "I'll serve your ass (like John McEnroe)" is brilliant!
You know, I've watched a lot of reactions to this video and all are good, but my point is that as a 72-year-old guy each time I listen to the song, my buttocks tighten and I'm doing the best I can to jump around in my chair. Thank you. Robert, UK.
72?!?!
@@Jabawongky88 ...Well, I'm 73 now, and I still jump around to this song as much as I'm able. Your body is one thing, your mind another.
I’m 71 and I know what you mean 😃
@2eleven48 & @June...you both are awesome! 💘 take a bow ...🌹
💚💚💚
Thing I love most about this video...besides the song...is the sense of belonging and community. These guys have an identity, they're proud as hell, they'll be friends for life, and would probably die for each other. Not sure if that makes sense, it's just what I see and feel.
Your facial expressions were all I needed to make my day!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
this song was playing in the clubs back in the day and everyone was jumping around. thank you for the memories
Always side to side with Cypress Hill.
For 24 years they've had the tradition at Univ. of Wisconsin football games where they play this song between the between the 3rd and 4th quarters. Search RUclips for it, its nuts seeing thousands "jump around" together. Opposing team even can't help but to jump around. Best tradition in college football.
I was second year at BU when this came out and it would make the whole campus shake!
Don't focus just their skin tone, just enjoy one of the best hiphop song ever 😎🤙
What a stupid thing to do from this guy.
Everlast, was one of the first white dudes in the main stream game. He was hooked up with Ice T and the Syndicate, then moved on to this band, then went solo, and keeps going back n forth between solo work and various groups like Lo Koka Nostra with B- Reel and Warporn Industrys. He always laughs and admits he was glad he didnt break with his first solo record in the 80's cause if he did, it was so corny and he was so young, that if he had made it then, he would be just like Vanilla Ice was 2 years afrer his break, which is finished artisically, instead of a 44 year career.
Yes sir!! Ur right on most but breal was not a part of la coka nostra but he is everlast best friend in real life!!! but it's LA Coka Nostra the 3 original members of hop w slaine and I'll bill
This song always spoke to me. I'm Irish on Dad's side and my Brothers and I were kinda thuggish when were young. It's got a great beat. Good music has no bounds. It brings everyone and everything together
They were saying "The House of Pain is in effect, y'all. I said the House of Pain is in effect. You know the House of Pain is in effect y'all. And anyone who steps up is getting wrecked."
Wreaked not wracked
@@Storm14street-zr6bl corrected it.
... this guys commentary is hilarious. He's like shocked with a stupefied calm voice. He's shocked emoji personified.
Everlast made his first record on Ice-T’s label when he was like 18. Look into the Soul Assassins.
Member of Rhyme Syndicate
Dude my Second time watching this vid your so funny ! I hear this song when it came out im 51 your way to cool !
Let's keep that House of Pain going.
Check "Everlast-Whitey Ford Sings the Blues" album. Song "What it's Like" explicit version. By the same dude you just watched. It'll show the man's range and blow your mind. Pretty HC. They still rock this song all over the place. I was probably 16 in the 90s when this came out and they haven't stopped jamming it.
The new stuff is great too. Solo, Warporn, La Coka Nostra.
That’s old school hip hop homie. That whole album was fire
Dude I am a whit boy and I was born in the 70's and I know this song forward and backwards. Color don't matter when it comes to epic music.
This is a New Years party Anthem in the UK. Along with any party night in a nightclub.
Everlast was in Ice-T's Rhyme Syndicate long before House of Pain.
They had a falling out I heard, not sure what that was about. Love from Guatemala.
Since the birth of hip-hop... it's always been about a community! Not a race! It's always been about music and feeling the beat! It's never been black or white This idea that one is better than the other at anything... it's stupid! We are all people.. and we all live here on this planet together!
Dude, Everlast was the only white member of Ice T's Rhyme Syndicate back when Ice T was the main West Coast Rapper on the planet.
😂 glad you making it outta your box. Wait till you see Anthrax play with Public Enemy 🤣
30 years and counting and it's still a banger
Funniest damn reaction ever!!! 💩 popped his eyelids off!!!🤣🤣🤣!!!
Everlast been around for a long time...late 80’s listen to Everlast “Then you might really know” it’s a very recognizable song from the 90’s
90s song title is What It's Like.
Dj lethal
That whole family got me subbed. I like that you keep it objective.
Thank you for this reaction I couldn’t stop laughing
Not sure how I found you-but I am so glad I did!! You are awesome! Made my day!!
☘️ IRISH☘️ white...whole different level of whiteness. ❤️
Not Irish he is an American who claims Irish roots we call them plastic paddy’s
@@Adam-uu5bw Cute. Still proud to be Irish American (and if you're not, you don't know the level of white I'm talking about. 😆)
I know what you mean. My mom was a strong Irish American woman who loved everyone. Plus the Irish are npt boring.
Your reaction when the beat dropped...I spit out my drink 😂😂😂
I'm just enjoying watching people find music they never hear before and it moves them.
I should be sleeping but couldn't and I came across your video. You are hysterical! Thanks for the laughs.
Actually in otder of first albums beastie boys was 1986, vanilla ice was 1990, house of pain was 1992, and eminem was 1999....
Don't forget snow informer ha ha ha
@@terryconnelly484 Snow was more of a reggae / dancehall musician.

And the Beasties followed with 7 more albums up until the early 2010s.

You gotta be born in the late 90's or earlier 00'z
I got ya back family member 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂💪🏾🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
YOU MADE MY DAY....FROM 5:00- 5:20....I ALMOST PISSED MY PANTS !!!!!
I'm sold!!! New subscriber here!!! Love your commentary and reaction to this video!!!
Love my Irish people, and i have zero Irish in me, but they're the best, and this song is still one of my favorites decades later
Being Irish is more of a vibe then a nationality , come and hang out
This is one of my favorite videos. I've seen it like 25 times and you keep coming up on my suggestions because I watch it too often.
lol I can't help it, you hit a cord with my youth and I love your reactions.
Vanilla Ice before House of Pain, House of Pain paved way for a Rap-Rock bands like Korn and Limp Bizkit if it wasn't for them Eminem would be unknown.
I would add that collaborations of Rap and Rock/metal band probably impacted more to the rise of Rap/Rock NuMetal bands. Aerosmith and Run-DMC, Public Enemy and Anthrax, Sir Mix-A-Lot and Metal Church, and the whole “Judgement Night” soundtrack. Also, Ice-T crossing over with Body Count.
Rage against the machine went triple platinum in 91-92, so I'd imagine they were a pretty massive influence on rap-rock.
No sir, swing and a miss.
Error, ANTHRAX fue el primero que combinó el Rap y el Metal junto a Public Enemy, de allí nació el concepto de NuMetal y Rapmetal mucho antes de que Korn tomara ese concepto
Shiiit, that songwriter bring backs memories of the parties I went to in my high school years & that song was always played to get the blood flowing 🤟😁🤟
"I didnt know white people could get this funky" that was hilarious. I loved the reaction
I was born in 97. Grew up with my parents blasting this on every road trip. A few years ago, I watched the music video and I had the same reaction as you 🤣.
Keep up the great work buddy! Much love from Canada!
Man...this song is so much more than one of the greatest songs of the 90's! Check the story behind the video and the lyrics story! Also the instrumental's story is damn good!
Your narration is hilarious, “now I know who the GD grand daddy was” 🤣🤣
House of pain is made up of three members Danny Boy, Everlast and DJ Lethal. Everlast is the main rapper on the song jump around, he was initially discovered and worked with Ice-T. I believe Everlast and DJ Lethal were originally from LA but Danny boy was originally from New York City and moved LA. Danny boy whose father was incarcerated when Danny was only two months old then his father later became a homeless alcoholic who was murdered by being doused in gasoline and set on fire. Danny boy then became involved in gang activity. So although they are a white rap group it appears that they were influenced based on their surroundings and their life experiences. Cypress Hill later covered the song, Jump Around.
I cant. Your reaction was priceless. 😂😂😂
3rd Bass is in between Beastie Boys and Vanilla ice!!! 3rd Bass is one of the most underrated and underappreciated rap groups ever!!! You need to react to them
Beasties, 3rd Bass, House Of Pain....(and we will not mention the weasel). A shame 3rd Base self destructed.
Hello from Cody Wyoming! You're awesome keep it up..sorry I'm 2 years late 😊
Love your reaction when the beat kicks in what the fuuuucck lol awesome
That was the best reaction video I've ever seen! 🤣🤣🤣 As i understand it Cyprus Hill wrote it for them.
Real music knows no race!
Right on, man! ✊🏽 I'd even go so far as to say f**k race.
Lemmy from Motorhead got a letter from a young black teen heavy metal fan , and his response almost made my eyes tear up. The vid is here on RUclips
Son, I swear, if this is your legit reaction--I'm DYING! My brain split into 10 pieces, too!!!
if you haven't yet check out Snow "Informer" I'd LOVE to see youre reaction to it even if you already have heard/seen it. 😂
I must watch this video a few times a month because it keeps coming on my feed and absolutely love your reaction so fell I have to watch it again.
I miss good music. 90s music was so much fun. Dancing/moshing to this in the club was so much fun. I may have accidentally wiped out a few tables with this song. Thank god there was no video to catch it all😂 btw This song and Insane in the membrane belong together
Ice T produced those guys back in the day
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 my husband loved this song. He loved watching me drag every fricking person in the club to the floor. My husband and I are both retired cops 🤣🤣🤣👮🏼♀️👮🏻♂️ my black and latino friends loved it just as much.
Fucking gross....
For the last 25-26 years you can hear this every fall home Wisconsin Badger football game.. Shit thumps hard with 75,000 people jumping!
You have to understand that we irish invented just about everything. Including rap.
It's criminal you don't have millions of subs. You're hilarious, unique, and I just adore you! Thanks!
You are right though LOL it has a definite Cypress sound
Well house of pain and cylress hill did music together
same producer
Jump Around was written by Cypress Hill. They just chose to not put it out and passed it down to House of Pain a couple years later
That first reaction was the same as mine the day I found a woman that could cook!!!🤣🤣🤣
Their high water mark is the "Same as it Ever Was" album.
Loved this when it dropped! 53 y.o. white female and this is STILL on my Adrenaline Playlist. NEVER tire of this! ❤
This brothers reaction made my day lol
I’m so glad I came across your channel. You are so mellow.
That thing you started doing at 6:55 was exactly what Everlast was doing at a football game recently when they were playing the song. lol too cool
I think I need a Melatonin!! I'm back! hahahahahaha! You're a hit! 3:05 am, N.Y.
“We got white people talking about about smacking bit***s” took me out!😂😂😂
This song ruled the Airways on our side of the Earth. Make no mistake these boys come with Irish Eyes, dont sleep on this Era when Greats were Formed, World Classics🇳🇿✌️
You THOROUGHLY enjoyed that😂 And I NEEDED this in bullshit 2024🎯
Grew up in an Irish culture just like this.... Those pubs can be both hype and dangerous.
The Irish don't play! We are loud and proud!🎶🍀🇺🇸👊
Justin bro, good toons have no pigmentation, never will. Peace and love from Scotland.
63 years old..if they don't play this at my wake, I ain't going..you can't hear this n not move..I dare ya! Love your channel btw..
This classic video has everything that's wicked awesome about Boston: Drunk Irish cops, drunk Irish hip hop, a creepy drunk Leprechaun, Everlast, multiple-Oscar award winner Mark Walberg (back when he was still Marky Mark) - and at least one teenage girl who looks genuinely scared she might get punched in the face.
Dude your reactions are one of a kind..love from Canada
my dude...after 40 years this is still a banger...it doesnt matter where this song is played when people hear it they jumpin and movin...its funny you brought Cypress Hill up cause Jump around was brought to them first and they just didnt quite feel it. then it was offered to Ice Cube and he turned it down. HoP stepped up like John McEnroe and the rest is history...world wide this jump is a classic...great reaction man!
1992, baby! I'm a 58 year old grandmother of 4, and I still jump around when this comes on!
🤣🤣🤣oh my god you are such a funny guy
what a reaction, i love it! thanks for that
greetings from Germany 😊
For what it's worth, I've been jamming to this song since it came out. My reaction upon watching the video a few years back for the first time, was exactly your reaction! An old white guy...
He reacted the way all us do when that intro drops, he does the exact same dance moves
Fuckin right CELTIC PRIDE glad you showed interest my brother in Christ
Fun fact, the lead singer/rapper’s name is Everlast and he got into the Blues a few years later…played guitar and dropped an album called “Whitey Ford sings the blues”
I lived in Boston in the 90s. When this track came on it was straight up like this video. People lost their minds.
You kinda sound like Mr. Rogers when you're speaking. That's kinda cool! :)
Sounds like Cleveland from Family Guy....😉
