@DeanPlays exactly as you say. Devs make a game. Devs also do the bug fixes. Why are half of the bug fixes unfinished? Why do more problems occur with each "update"? That has nothing to do with Activision. Activision is planning and is giving the deadlines. But it's Treyarchs task to program. And the game is more bugged with each update
This was shaping up to be the best cod in years for me. They need to course correct hard before they lose everyone. It should not be possible to still be sorting out issues that were fixed in the previous game
If GTA6 online isn't complete shit at launch like GTA5 online was, and has decent matchmaking, it's easy to see myself playing that instead, despite how different it will be from CoD. If it's more fun that BO6 and my friends are also enjoying it, CoD will be a hard sell for my time. But I'm also going to be realistic with myself--I love CoD in general, but really don't like certain aspects of each game--I will be getting the next CoD, because I know I'll have fun in it. But how much time I end up spending on it is a different story.
They need to pack up shop and stop making games. Make one COD and stop making them until they have a serious plan other than following industry trends like BR or reboots
@thekingsman9880 not since black ops 4. I know people on the internet (mostly cod fanboys) are going to have brain rot takes but I've only ever really played the treyarch games since black ops 2. The other games never really spoke to me and everyone has their favourite style but the arcade aesthetic of treyarch's games pulled me in. I thought black ops 2 was fun, I thought black ops 3 was fantastic (campaign was very cerebral and not a typical cod campaign), black ops 4 had some of my favourite gun play of any shooter (I loved the longer ttk and healing even if it wasn't really 'cod'. Specialists were also super unbalanced), cold war had really fun sniping but the gameplay felt clunky and very much like a thrown together project (which it sort of was)... Black ops 6 is the best cod I've seen in years. Nice feeling ttk, brilliant progression and an aesthetic that I vibe with. It also has lots and lots of issues mainly technical ones but even on top of that this game is the best cod I've seen in years, fix up the technical issues and it's top tier. All this is my own opinion of course but I wanted to elaborate on my previous statement

After playing cod for 15 years I am just burned out bro. They promise changes, but they never come and when they don't they wonder why the player base is so upset. Well I wonder why they are activision. I am just tired of a game that is so broken and they could care less to fix it or even upgrade the servers. That is why I haven't played in the last 2 months. I have been on fortnite, at least their servers don't crash you every 10 to 20 seconds.

The game wasn't bringing me any joy, so i just uninstalled. I did have a bit of rubbish day the other day and felt like scratching the mindless COD itch so played MW3 as i still had installed on Battlenet. Man, going back to MW3 is a breath of fresh air, it's just a significantly better game.

After I decided to drop Destiny 2 after 10 years playing the franchise, I picked up Bo6 which is my first CoD game since Bo2 all the way back in 2012. Compared to D2, which is a mix of bad development choices, a buggy game with horrific servers, and extremely bad community sentiment that it creates bad mental health, Bo6 is a vacation. Having said that, nothing is worse than playing a game you enjoy while people are all around you telling you why you shouldn't be enjoying it.
THE exact situation im in, been playing destiny since d1 vanilla, finally put it down to see if I could relive my bo2 days. the constant devastation from the devs is so painful. but as someone in that place too, just enjoy it, it'll come to a point where It may not be fun but for now I'm enjoying it
Same was a d1 alpha player and watched the game die slowly. BO6 was going to be my new pvp main game, but it's been rough the past couple of weeks. Hopefully, they get the game back on track. There is a real lack of good quality, highly populated 6 v 6 pvp fps games on Playstation, so if COD can fix these issues, I feel a lot of players will return.

not only levels and medals in hardcore but also elimination score like no numbers appear anymore +100 +50 for score streak etc it used to be fine at release but its been 2 months ? idk why its taken them so long but its quite frustrating especially when the fix is to switch your UI preset and inverted and back every game

It wild that they still haven't brought back that tab that let us put our blueprint skins on specific attachments, it was there the first day of the season and then taken down, the season is almost over. If their whole focus is "buy our bundles" then why not let us actually use them on our guns instead of the one blueprint it was apart of. Every other cod since mw 2019 had this
With this update they shadow banned a lot of players including me in warzone. Now every game I play I have 150 ping and half the lobby is filled with Americans like me who were also shadow banned and the other half are all Russians. I'm assuming that I was mass-reported like everyone else yet the hackers that are running rampant in the game are still free to ruin the game. It's insane how legit players are now being punished while the hackers are completely untouched. It almost feels like they don't want people to play their game. I want to play the game, but if I try to I have to deal with laggy servers from a trillion dollar company that can't even muster a working game.

I'ma be 100% genuine right now: i think it'll be in everyone's best interest to take a 2 week hiatus from CoD. Basically just sit out the rest of the season. What's super crazy to me is that there have been multiple instances where they've made the game literally unplayable. Like, you jump on the game and matchmaking literally doesn't work. So it's not surprising that frustrations with the game are rising when the game is legitimately broken. I think the biggest thing is that this game's lack of polish is inexcusable considering the amount of time it was supposedly in development. It truly suggests a lack of focus and effort (if not competence) in certain aspects of the game. If there was ever a good time to do it, now seems to be it. Not only the start of a new calendar year/fiscal quarter, but if their engagement drops in the middle of this Squid Game event i'd imagine that would get some attention. Just imagine if this game actually dropped out of the top spots on the major platform trackers. If they need to go into panic mode to get some extra/external dev assistance to get this game where it needs to be, then we should put the pressure on. The message is quite simple: if they'll wait til S2 to roll these fixes out then we'll wait til S2 to jump on and play. So just take a breather and allow yourselves to cooldown from the current state the game is in.

It's been pretty crazy looking from the outside, in. I remember all the COD RUclipsrs and community hyping up this game, talking about how it's the best COD in years. The COD cycle genuinely does exist.
Main problem that I'm worried about is the on-demand stream graphical , some time when I play with people on zombies game mode it will either be like black and white or it will be out of focus and blurry graphics so it may just be internet problems, I didn't have these type of problem with the previous Call of duty's zombies game mode

I’m sorry but anyone defending the new engine that they first implemented in MW19 is a fool. They need to build a new engine from the ground up and yes I understand that takes a very long time. At this point it’s either make an engine that isn’t a massive mess of jumbled code that you can’t figure out because every time you send a patch it breaks a ton of stuff, or keep trying to fix a clearly unfixable mess and watch your franchise burn out faster every year. There has to be a point where they just cut their losses and create a new engine.. I think they’re just trying to squeeze as much out of this engine as they can before revealing a brand new one in the coming years. It all sucks.
Warzone killed COD.. I don't think it's a coincidence that the buggiest COD in years is the COD that is intergrated with Warzone. It sucks cause it is the best COD Zombies we've gotten since BO4.

I can't even get into the zombies portion of the game. Before and after the update. Tried power cycling the system, reinstalling the game.I double-checked the game was up to date. Nothing works. It just infinitely loops saying connecting to online services/fetching online profile. It infinitely makes the menu changing noise, too.
This is what happens when they lay off their QA employees and contractors. They're always the first to go when it comes to cost cutting and the players pay for it.

I’m lagging with packet burst and packet loss and when I find odd is that when I go on a massive kill streak or I’m doing very good and my team is winning I start to get really bad packet loss as of right now I’m not playing I can catch up on some single player games that I need to catch up on and play clone hero in the meantime
The update literally corrupted on my PS4 and PS5 and can’t play at all. Tried deleting and reinstalling but it just keeps crashing and tells me the file is corrupted. WTF MAN

Any recomendations for a console FPS game to play instead of CoD Espresso? I just uninstalled Bo6 and Warzone, the game isn't even playable for me now and I'm done with it. Was looking forward to Delta Force's console release soon but that seems to be up in the air now. Is Battlefield 2042 worth revisiting at this point?
I stopped playing a week ago. I finish dark matter grind idk if ill even go back on when season 2 comes out. Im a sniper snd player ive done with the cheaters even in pubs there always a pc player in the match with walls why should i give them any more money if they cant keep the cheaters out for good or atleast most them.
Hopefully this time around the community realize they should not buy anything from this game, not even the game itself with the Game Pass option. They don’t wanna fix their shit ? Fine, I’ll play something else, or just stop the subscription. I think squid game warzone is the most fun ive had on cod in a while. The issue with cod these days for me is the skill level. For the average employed 30 year old who jumps on a few nights a week, it's a pretty miserable experience. More of a societal problem though.

Same, all I play is zombies. MP is a horrible experience with the servers, skill based matchmaking, and awful maps with awful spawns…
Anyone else having FPS issues after this update? Cause my FPS has dropped after this update happened and it's frustrating to me so much.
Plunder specifically the performance is dog water can’t even get a solid 60fps but in regular black ops 6 I can get well over 144 fps makes no sense

Zombies wasn't unaffected by the matchmaking shit, literally couldn't start a match with full 4 man party and squad fill turned off 🤦♂️

If there was ever a good time to do it, now seems to be it. Not only the start of a new calendar year/fiscal quarter, but if their engagement drops in the middle of this Squid Game event i'd imagine that would get some attention. Just imagine if this game actually dropped out of the top spots on the major platform trackers.
If they need to go into panic mode to get some extra/external dev assistance to get this game where it needs to be, then we should put the pressure on. The message is quite simple: if they'll wait til S2 to roll these fixes out then we'll wait til S2 to jump on and play. It's been pretty crazy looking from the outside, in. I remember all the COD RUclipsrs and community hyping up this game, talking about how it's the best COD in years. The COD cycle genuinely does exist.

Main problem that I'm worried about is the on-demand stream graphical , some time when I play with people on zombies game mode it will either be like black and white or it will be out of focus and blurry graphics so it may just be internet problems, I didn't have these type of problem with the previous Call of duty's zombies game mode

I'll never understand how a million/billion dollar company can't put out polished games/content. I’m sorry but anyone defending the new engine that they first implemented in MW19 is a fool. They need to build a new engine from the ground up and yes I understand that takes a very long time. At this point it’s either make an engine that isn’t a massive mess of jumbled code that you can’t figure out because every time you send a patch it breaks a ton of stuff, or keep trying to fix a clearly unfixable mess and watch your franchise burn out faster every year. There has to be a point where they just cut their losses and create a new engine.. I think they’re just trying to squeeze as much out of this engine as they can before revealing a brand new one in the coming years. It all sucks.

I can't even get into the zombies portion of the game. Before and after the update. Tried power cycling the system, reinstalling the game.I double-checked the game was up to date. Nothing works. It just infinitely loops saying connecting to online services/fetching online profile. It infinitely makes the menu changing noise, too.
This is what happens when they lay off their QA employees and contractors. They're always the first to go when it comes to cost cutting and the players pay for it.

@ that’s the sad truth B06 is a decent game. The problem is the servers and the fucking net code. I swear to God I get like 50 hit markers on a motherfucker they don’t die. I’m lagging with packet burst and packet loss and when I find odd is that when I go on a massive kill streak or I’m doing very good and my team is winning I start to get really bad packet loss as of right now I’m not playing I can catch up on some single player games that I need to catch up on and play clone hero in the meantime

I stopped playing a week ago. I finish dark matter grind idk if ill even go back on when season 2 comes out. Im a sniper snd player ive done with the cheaters even in pubs there always a pc player in the match with walls why should i give them any more money if they cant keep the cheaters out for good or atleast most them.

The issue with cod these days for me is the skill level. For the average employed 30 year old who jumps on a few nights a week, it's a pretty miserable experience. More of a societal problem though.
