My left ear appreciated this video. I don't have access to a drill press so will go with the PTC. I also want to be able to use it with stir bar, looks like I still can.

By the way, note the difference between ceramic and aluminum top hot plates. On ceramic (poor heat conducting material) top plates, the surface temperature will not be uniform. The center will be close to the set temperature but the edges will be cooler. Also, check the manual here of a ceramic top hot plate (www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=www.corning.com/catalog/cls/documents/equipment-manuals/CLS-EQ-091DOC.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwiKqubHj-X7AhXeHEQIHRmrDdgQFnoECBEQAQ&usg=AOvVaw1c3iu41GHsDfAtLlKhffd1) on page 8 which says that the set temp can differ from actual temperature. Ceramic hot plates are ideal for heating beakers with liquids (and you would have a thermometer or probe in the liquid to monitor the temperature). The ceramic material is corrosion-resistant and can also withstand higher temperatures than aluminum. For uniform and more accurate surface temperatures though, go with an aluminum top hot plate. Ceramic-coated aluminum top hot plates are a thing if you need the best of both worlds and will cost several hundred dollars, though they can't get as hot as ceramic-only hot plates. But most people probably don't need ridiculously hot temperatures.

Why not just use the heated bed on a 3d printer? You can set the temp to what you want. Plus you have the ability to 3d print stuff.

Important video to watch to make sure you're getting accurate temperatures: ruclips.net/video/Ron89whg_M8/видео.html

yes, i went through your other videos, then found that video helpful, to complete this project. I am going to try your design for the bigger one. Very cool. And i hope the best in your biology project involving the micro fluid device to grow human tissues with blood vessels.

Hi there. We found you doing electroncis so much fun, and were wondering if any prototype services may help? Would love to supply and reach any YT collab together! Is there anyway we could get you connected? (PCBWay luz)
