At least for me. The shaft matters more for taping than the actual stick.

You should try for hand backhand five hole, I use it and it works almost every time just don’t let the goalie poke check😀
I usually go forehand backhand low blocker they have a hard time hugging the post in time, and if they overreact then I'll take the five hole. I'm a dogshit hockey player but was useful in shootouts lol.
My go to move is since I’m a righty I go down the left side and slowly cut into the middle and then fire over the far side pad .

For the skating trail you should build 1/2 feet side with snow and then put a tarp on the yard and then fill it with the water

I play bantam hockey and my go too move is maybe forehand backhand move or I just shoot it, I don’t have a great shot but the goalies give up a lot of net

I also make a big turn then backhand toe drag in front of the goalie

Same, I know that some goalies care but I just glance at it and as long as it looks like there is tape there I'm not too concerned. But I'm also only playing roller right now so I'm not sure that if I was on the ice if I would care more or not.
