i am not a shedder , i am a blues / rock guy and i'm 61 years old but i do always watch you're vids and i would pick the walnut one because of the tele style nature of it , i really like that brigde on it , many people don't like the strat and tele brigdes because they can " poke " into you're hand and this is a very comfortable brigde for sure , great guitars max , greetings from Holland .

I'm 78 soon to be 79 my brother! Am also an old Laguna Beach hippie from the 1950s, '60s and '70s on to this very day. I grew up a blues rock guitar/piano/bass/harp and drum musician. Blues rock is the greatest music ever created. It's the music that awakened and expanded this world's collective consciousness, and no music sounds as organic or better because, it comes straight from the earth. I just turned my grandson on to Delaney and Bonnie. I put up my old posters and black lights and lit up some incense for him and his girlfriend. They're loving it.

@ oops , yep , i forgot the "r" in the word shredder : ) , and yeah , my speed is still there ( if need be ) but as an 60 + year old guy now i do start to notice that it's getting less , so my aproach ( i hope i spell this the right way : ) to guitarplaying has become more " david gilmour " like , less speed but hitting every note the right way and doing crazy boomer bends offcourse : )

6:26 Finally a bridge that won't hurt your hand. I wonder why manufacturers have only started doing this now. All structures with sharp screws sticking out are a mistake. And yet they continue to produce them. Thank you for this information and showing this wonderful bridge.
Because guitar players *overall* simply do not buy innovative guitars- the evidence clearly demonstrates this
This is exactly why to this day Fender makes Stratocaster models with the 6-screw vibratos, nickel frets, huge neck heels, non-compound necks, truss rods accessible via headstock (or even worse via the end of the neck), etc etc
@@Lomoholga2 Truss rods at the end of the neck is probably the best for the player but harder for the manufacturer. Heel ones are much easier to install.

Edit: just got it. Setup was perfect. I am really enjoying it. Stays in tune, nothing feels cheap. A lot of bang for your buck. I don't even notice the lack of fret markers.

DUDE, all of these are my top 3 new favorite HBs I've ever seen, stellar job. The only thing keeping from buying one is that I'm in love with my ibanez and jackson necks and also into 7 strings, but these will make a LOT of people incredibly happy I'm sure. Just WOW!!!!

@@mannyfragoza9652you can put on stickers ones and you won't ever feel them. They stay on amazingly well... Believe me I used to be the same way and when I found these stickers, it solved that problem.

You can find all sorts of cool and interesting fret inlay stickers for pretty cheap just a suggestion for a simple fix 😊

Years ago I bought a very nice Yamaha Pacifica 412, and the modding process began until I finally got the look, sound and feel of what I wanted. Interestingly enough I ended up with a Tesla humbucker in the bridge, and a Babicz bridge with an added brass block as well as two stratosphere single coils in the middle & neck. It’s my “go to” for everything. Congratulations on the new signature models.

Hi Max glad your safe. I have been into metal since the mid 80’s. In high school I went to concerts like Metallica, Dio, AcDc etc then show up at school the next day with concert shirt. I still listen to metal digging the new Grave Digger. I play a BC Rich Black/grey Mockingbird on my Randall cabinet 4 12 in speakers with a Joyo Bantamp for a header. It is loud. Excellent work on the new models! I am especially loving that walnut body. I built a walnut body guitar years ago in high school and just adored it.
If I could make one request it would be for a regular headstock instead of the reverse only. I really don't like having the tuning machines under the neck because (for me at least) they are harder to reach.

Great models for version 2.0! I'm sure they will sell extremely well.
For version 3.0, I'd like to see:
- the walnut finish with a floyd rose (in gold)
- a large cutout on the back of the guitar by the heel (think Fender Ultra Stratocaster)
- an amber color option (also with gold hardware)
I think the above would make worthy additions to the line. Would be worth the wait for next year's lineup!

I've got an original green and it is an absolute monster! So many tones. Just a thing of beauty. Always wanted a guitar with a Floyd Rose and with the Signature Max I could afford one. $444 back when I got it.
I just ordered the Holo Finish! My first Harley Benton... Floyd Rose 1000, 24 jumbo SS frets, reverse headstock and roasted maple neck for WHAT PRICE!? They will not be able to make enough of these to keep up with the demand! Amazing collaboration, the build for the price IS unbeatable. Can't wait for it to get here!

Neck is straight (only small bit of relief) and not a single cosmetic flaw. Guitars like this from big brands easily go for 2-3 times the price, definitely going to buy the green one now!

Holographic fret markers to match would have been insane. But curious as to why no fret markers at all. I mean, I'm getting one... but I don't know how not having any fretboard makers will be. Never had one without. Sick guitars. You had us all at jumbo SS train tracks let alone these custom design combinations! Well done!
There are side dot markers, so from the perspective of the person playing the guitar, it's almost the same as fret marker inlays.

I like the green the best but if I was going to get 1 , I would take the walnut top because I don’t want to mess around with Floyd rose. I was at Thomann last month and played the guitar. It is very well made and feels great in the hand. Very good 👍🏽
In general, the new Harley Benton Max models are exactly what I want. The possibility to select between hard tail bridge and Floyd Rose style bride is a big plus, the toggle to split coils is a plus. The only downside (IMHO): nut width 42 mm/ 1.65 inches. -Much- better would be (IMHO) 43 mm/1.69 inches or even 44 mm/1.74 inches. The rest is almost spot on to what I really like and prefer. Jumbo frets HS-routing, coils split, jumbo frets, stainless steel frets, reversed headstock. Despite the wrong nut width, I am thinking about buying the purple one with Floyd Rose. The natural finishes are also very appealing to me ... The hard thing: currently I do not have the money to buy a hardtail version AND a Floyd Rose version, so I have the hard decision, what version to buy - hard tail or Froyd Lose 🙂 But the absolute killer would be this guitar with nut width 44 mm and maybe with Gibson scale (24.75 inches scale length). This would be the optimal shredder-friendliness 😀 and it would be specs only available in very expensive custom made guitars.

A hardtail at last!
Just bought the walnut hard tail it'll be here monday I'll keep you posted. Been wanting a guitar for awhile so slow shopping doing lots of research. I get the sense Max & i'm sure many here do you know what to put in what to leave out. So on our resident guitar chef's recommendation I'm going for the great deal on a kick ass guitar. Also I know I know you collectors are rarely into it but I like natural wood grain. It will go well with my mango top cheap yamaha bass;) Thanks Max you and others like you have been of immense help in my ongoing education!

I grew up with a Japanese made, ( Matsumoku) all black,1986 Westone Spectrum LX (198-mbk) Hsh. The edges of it was all rounded & when I see a 90° sharp edge, I think of discomfort. I do like the rounded edges of that hardtail trem! NICE! Today, I have a 86 Westone Spectrum sx (Hss) & it screams & hold better tune then any other of my 22 guitars. I wish they had frett markers on the fretboard! I admit, I want one!!!
