Great Vid, thanx.
I have had my Predator for about a week now.
It is outstanding.
I have had a notion that some of the Predator Cons have been addressed by AC already.
Mine is super quiet. Prints great and worked right out of the box.
Leveling was just TOO EASY which is seriously refreshing.
I am loving the adhesion of the Hot bed no more glue - YEAH !
Two reservations:
The SD card Slot. It's integrated with the Main Board so there is NO HOPE of exchanging it.
I have several card that just do not want to cooperate with the Slot.
I have a "Loose" SKR car, so, . I can't wait for your Upgrade to SKR video WITH DETAILS !.
And Part Visibility. I keep reaching for the Torch/Flashlight to observe whats going on down there.
I am considering adding some LEDs to the Bottom of the Effector - stick on strip type leds - very low profile.
Hi Bob,
where did you order your Predator?
Hi! It's amazing to see your videos! Please keep on and especially about the Predator tunning and upgrades
Interesting review
Thanks for sharing 👍😀
brilliant video new sub here from UK.... well done mate
Excellent review(s). Helped me a lot to finally decide on buying one or not, long story short: it's arriving tomorrow.
The Predator isn't my first printer with an Ultrabase and I still don't get why they add the scraper. It's the worst thing to use on an Ultrabase.
Thx just ordered one.
Do you have a link to the replacement fan duct that you used for the Anycubic Predator?
I bought one a predator second hand and it works great but I've noticed when you turn yours off the effector or gantry stays up but on mime when I turn it off it drops what could be the cause and need to be tighted or adjusted?
What did you put there when it calibratored automatically?
After initial home before doing the z axis my predator then goes to home like it suppose to but once home it makes this stuttering moving like its banging into the homing position any ideas. I cant get past page 18 to do the z axis
Just built one of these over the weekend, was so excited, and thus far it won't even print the level test consistently. Not sure if it's crap cheap pack-in filament or something within the machine but my to-print list is getting backed up. One thing I suspect is the extruder is highly suspect. The adjustment was maxed out when I got it and it won't feed anything consistently while printing. Doing a filament feed test and it flows fine, so long as it's not moving. Any ideas? I want to love this thing but it's beating me hard so far.
Enjoyed your video on the Predator. Did you have any problems with it not being able to read other SD cards other than the one it came with? If not, then how did you format you other SD cards?
Thanks for the review, how tall is the printer without the filament holder.👍
Nice printer.👍
Hey just wondering if anyone had issues connecting the filament sensor as my screws seem to either be to big or the hole isn't threaded
Interesting printer.
PrintingOTB it’s actually quite nice. Very sturdy, although there are a few things that I would like to see changed. I’ll go over all of my thoughts and opinions in the print video.
@@Versus3D looking forward to it.
What slicer are you using with the Predator? Are you able to share your profile?
Any idea on where to get parts for this printer? I just bought one that had a broken rod and was missing the extruder and the part w/ the fans on it. Thanks!
Whats the cura profile setup for this? Can share?
Tengku Danial sorry I don’t use cura
Versus3D what do u use then? Im struggling to set up my predator profile. I need help
I use Simplify3D
How do you know if your pulleys are to tight or too loose? I just bought one and I am having a little bit of issues with it. I don't think it is the printers fault I think I am just failing to adjust things right.
Did you end up getting this issue resolved? I believe I'm experiencing the same issue when it probes.
@@Xn3v3rX I ended up buying new pulley belts. One of the stock ones snapped on me.
I replaced them all and I would say I am getting pretty good prints now.
i am printin gthrough my computer usb. how to i get the extruder/nozzle to go home after teh job is complete. it hust sits there and melts into teh print. I am using cura with predator
just figure it out prefrences- printers - machine setting - write this "G28 ;Home" (without the qoutes marks) in end-gcode textbox in the bottom most line
also make sure u have marlin in gcode flavor
"I'm too short for this." let me tell you I'm 6'4" tall and I was too short for this... the bench was too tall, table or desk top would work better.
I don't think they make these anymore. Shame.
Just a little constructive criticism. Over all, good info, however, there is a lot of info not needed and can become boring. As an end viewer, I only need one or two times to know you are excited. The end of your video wasn't helpful to hear you trying to decide how to end it. Edit that stuff out, it is not helpful.
I know it is more work for you, but stop, get some close up shots of things, splice these close up in as needed to your main track so we can see what you are doing. As examples, when you were showing the accessories, and the display, you could have had footage of close ups you could have spliced in to the main track.
I hope the best for your video venture. 👍
Eric Dobis thanks Eric, I appreciate the feedback.
on ne voie rien de ce que vous fait a l'écran cela n'aide vraiment pas dommage
