Tamilnadu has the most number of medical colleges in the nation. We build all the infrastructure from the scratch and maintained the standard of medical education till NEET. Even now doctors from Tamilnadu stand out in reputation, diginity and knowledge.. They are highly skilled.. As a doctor myself,I can challenge that.. But now most of the Tamilnadu medical collges are filled by North Indians who don't know how to communicate with the patients and patients don't trust them. They wanna study here and wanna work in their own states.. Tamilnadu is becoming like a public urinal for the whole country where anyone can piss anything

      Really? Public urinal analogy?
What about the TN IT crowd in Bangalore? Tamil folks plaguing slums like Dharavi in Mumbai since decades? Don’t you think they have an ill effect here?
I am a Tamil myself and TN needs to stop assuming this high ground and align itself with the broader nation. I love how AP/Telangana goes about these things. Their govt tries their best to send as many children to colleges of national repute like IITs. TN govt for all the hue and cry, it was so difficult to secure even a OBC certificate in TN but my friends in AP got it so easily

@@dushyantsankaralingam7487 Sir, You can't compare private institutions with public institutions. I don't have any issues with people migrating to work in TN for IT or other Skilled and unskilled jobs but this is public funded projects, if you consider the number of Govt medical colleges TN is in prominent position comparing to the other states. IIT, IIM and Central Universities are funded by the Union Government I think you understand my point.
For MBBS it's okay because I suppose only 15 percent goes to All India Quota but in the PG level State gets only 55 percent that's an issue we need to confront.
I don't have any problem north indians or other state people approaching TN to seek medical facilities even in govt hospitals.

And no sir, no institute is fully funded by Central Govt except for IIT Kharagpur which was the first IIT (I know this for a fact since I graduated from there). There is a merit to common entrance tests and every state agrees to it as the most efficient way to ensure the best talent gets the deserved seat. Sorry to say but 12th marks is of no use. Someone can easily score 95% plus in 12th and still not understand basic concepts clearly as it’s based on rote learning. JEE and NEET test conceptual application on the other hand which is a better indicator of one’s learning ability.
The arrogance on display by Tamils baffles me. States like Jharkhand sacrificed their agricultural land and development to produce coal and power other states including TN to help then reach where they are. Freight equalisation policy was another bullshit policy which badly affected these states.
Sorry if this seems like a rant but I am tired of seeing the arrogance and complete apathy shown by Tamils in recent times towards “Vadakkans”

Coz TN has best govt medical infrastructure in Indian Union, comparable or better in indices to many European/scandanavian countries.
This is possible coz of good quality of doctors coming out of state govt funded colleges, who are from different sections of society, rural areas who are happy to practice in their rural or similar rural area post MBBS. TN also encouraged rural doctors with additional incentive for post MBBS courses in govt seats. This ensures quality & availablity of doctors even in rural PHC. If you pay a visit to any.rural or even semi urban PHC in any state..... you will find Dr availability a main issue....as all dr favor their own practice or serve in cities.
Many from Indian union come to TN for medical needs as cost is effective and quality of care & treatment is good - agreed some of it is in private hospitals but in a market place, private can be cost effective only if overall market is governed by quality and affordable care..where govt hospitals & PHC play a humongous role.

adding to the info shared in the video, TN has the highest number of Government medical colleges in the country along with few other states. more than half of the medical colleges in the state are run & funded by state government. The point is, the state that was able to develop the infrastructure also knows who should be benefitted from it.

how will tamilnadu state government give admission to 60000 qualified MBBS students when there are only 8000 MBBS seats whole of tamilnadu (govt+private)?

I believe in qualification exams. And everyone who have cleared the qualification exam should be enlisted by individual university through a one on one interview or by submitting a thesis or both at a preliminary and final level.
But my question is why not directly address the need for such exams in first place?. Why can't we abolish different standards of education and just replace everything with one. If not at national level may be we can start at the state level.

Please don't blame NEET, increase the depth of the syllabus. You can't study blueprint portions and become a good doctor. States which are poorer than TN in education also attempting NEET, just because their syllabus is different they're not exempted from NEET.
With TN syllabus, if you sit 4-5 months before exam and start studying, you can get good cutoff and enter into medical College. But the understanding of the subject would be very less, I think NEET fills that gap.
Even if the NEET syllabus and your 12th syllabus are same, many would have practiced the problems and get good marks in public exams, but if the same question asked with little more complexity, students are struggling. This is due to lack of critical thinking and problem solving skills. But when you become a doctor you definitely need critical thinking skills, indepth knowledge in subject.

Tamil Nadu was so proud of Veera Muthuvel - Project Director of Chandrayaan 3 who studied in Tamil Medium. So education or studying is not at all a problem as Tamil Nadu Politicians try to portray about NEET. Reality & Fact is Tamil Nadu Politicians own huge amount of Medical Education Institutions and they were earning through Capitation fees and only rich kids can afford medical education. Now through NEET that system which gives power to them is getting demolished. NEET coaching centre is just an aberration. TN govt if they want they can ensure they give good training for NEET affordably but they won't do, purely for the Politics of it. TNM is a mouthpiece of DMK. Controlled private medical colleges to extract money of mose than one crore.from each poor candidates and this has contributed to deaths of students and parents.Further filtration will be there in any competition due to limited seats

    1. All Rules to get Medical Seat is Prelaid & Uniform to Rest of India.
    2. Federal Nature of Union does not Give Freedom & Independence to the State.
    3. Can't choose Socialism with Other's Resources & Capitalism with your Own Resources. It's Hypocrisy & Double Standards which means TN expects deviation of Rules.
    4. Can't Practice Democracy with Education to satisfy the Majority of Loosers. Deserve to Desire is the Theory of Evolution & Science.
    5. If TN wants to seperate, Let it Seperate, Once for All. Instead of choosing Convenience Polutics.
All are Equal. That Includes Dravidians, Dark & Dusky, TN students too as well as it includes Rest of India, Pale skinned or Aryans.

Here most of the party members from both ADMK and DMK owns medical colleges and they used to make good money in black, before neet, when central govt made neet compulsory, they couldn't do it, thats why they oppose neet, suicide can never ever be a factor in justfy ban, we had many students in the past who committed suicide since they have failed in 10th and 12th exams, shall we ban public exams now, forget about exams there were instances of 10 year or 12 year old commiting suicide because his love was rejected, shall we impose a law which states that any girl child should accept young boys love, so that suicide can be avoided, suicide a signal which states that we have failed as a society as a whole, banning neet or any other entrance exams are like putting band aid to life threatening cancer.

Neet syllabus should be a syllabus that's like tamulnadu education syllabus. Just see the books that's taught, it's different. The cbsc cannot be opted by a knowledgeable human in tamulnadu.. Who actually looks into everything their child learns... if they read both the syllabus and are not competing too. Icsc is good but that's not optable or everyone cannot access that education system.. These are facts.. A state board learnt can actually relate to international syllabus too if they have knowledge but a cbsc gets there with coaching and usual tortures to learn to learn nothing too .. As if learning should be some extra issue for money launderers filthy.... they are subjected to as many money laundering people as if its normal. Its not. Aptitude test is must not such child abuses.. Dress code too can be taken for granted by pedophiles...
