the part 2 dub is a very inaccurate translation but a very fun watch, i would seriously recommend it! it’s like if a gag/parody dub still told the story. and in my opinion it’s pretty well cast; the delivery can be a little jank, especially in the first few episodes, but they give the characters a lot of life. also none of these clips show what goemon actually sounds like, they’re just him doing dumb voices for disguises.
@@nahyutarightsactivistMonkey Punch pretty much told the dub team to do whatever the hell they wanted. And the dub is to the spirit of Lupin, if nothing else.
@@ianfinrir8724 agree strongly. part 2 eng dub is the pinnacle of lupin (though i do love the sub [and my fave part is actually 5 or 1]) and it’s the best representation of it to any western fan who’s new to the franchise

Never heard Lupin in English dub before, this is really neat
