6:21 My best guess is that umbrella leaf just exists and does it’s thing but punish shroom exists until a fully completed action, since the 1 damage splash is just the part 2.

Hey fry! I know I’m a little late but I just want to try and help you on 6:00 and my theory is passive abilities. The umbrella leaf has a power that stays all the time. Meanwhile the punish shroom has an active ability. It would have the following order (on my theory)
-punish shroom: z-mech super does 3 damage, then it does I damage to all plants. After that the punish shroom detects 2 deaths and activates his ability twice. Lastly, punish shroom dies
-umbrella leaf: z mech super does 3 damage, umbrella’s leaf drops to 0, then it deactivates his ability. After that quick event, z mech’s super does 1 damage to all plants.

Anyone have same problem with me? Because the last update PvZ Heroes, now I can't farm gems by watching ads. It say something like "Something wrong, please try again", that message always pop up whenever I finished watching ads.

6:00 the umbrella leaf is a keyword but the punish shrooms is a ability
5:56 I know why that happened. The Button Mushroom was considered dead before the Punish-shroom since she was to the left of the Punish-shroom, and like all things in this game, damage and death happen from left to right, so the Button Mushroom's death technically happened before the Punish-shroom's death, allowing the Punish-shroom to attack twice.
Fry. I just got grass knuckles from 1 premium pack (I just started playing this game and I didn't even have a legendary... I believe it's actually harder to get than a legendary.) Is there any recommended budget decks for him? I would really appreciate ur help :)

About Z-Mech super, is possible that the splash damage is not affected by Untrickable, you should try this with multiple umbrella leaves on the field or apotatossaur.

I think Umbrella Leaf works like Gladiator in that it only does its ability when it has health. However, I think Punish Shroom does its ability until it’s dead/removed from the field, like Pharaoh. Like how PS still punishes for itself being killed; if its ability rested on it having health then it wouldn’t do that. I think.

Umbrella leaf gives a trait while punish shroom is a character ability and they work differently
I thought that HG totally just pulled a Team-up swabbie somehow
For the Umbrella Leaf vs Punish-Shroom comparison, Umbrella Leaf's ability applies keywords, supposedly "apply keyword" abilities like umbrella, parasol, or smashing garg are null when their hp goes down to zero, similar to how you can't grow a 0hp Muscle Sprout when sunflower seed dies or Fig transforms something
Edit:
The order for umbrella is:
Z-mech super deals 3 damage to umbrella,
Umbrella has 0hp and it's ability is null,
Everything else takes 1 damage,
Umbrella despawns
For punish shroom:
Z-mech super does its thing,
Button and punish shroom have 0hp, things die left to right so punish shroom shoots twice

The game mechanic with the umbrella and punish shroom, I THINK when punish shroom still shoots but he should be dead is because that he “punishes” when he die himself, and thereby he still “lives” to punish the button shroom. Unlike the umbrella that has a ability while it’s still on the field and thereby if it dies the ability goes away
Again I don’t know if this is true I’m just guessing, and using what I know about the game (which is not that much but a bit)

Easy because you are not using a trick directly to untrickable plants it is just the splash of the trick, I think even if you don’t kill the umbrella the splash will hit the rest of the plants
You should use the super happy mister incredible face for the best highlight compilation, it would probably be for good highlights though

I believe Umbrella Leaf's ability is passive like an environment (say, lazer base alpha), "plants here and next door are untrickable" instead of active (like hunting grounds) "plants here and next door gain untrickable".
Punish shroom ability is active so it is given time to activate twice, whereas when Umbrella Leaf dies, its passive ability immediately dissipates
Alternate title: fails that are worse than the copy the teacher gives you.

How it works if any get damaged no matter what duration of any ability it will still do the damage dealt by depending on which mushrooms got hit

I had weird "game mechanic" experience.
I played an imitater down. Then a reincarnated-plucky clover. the imitater transforms into a primal sunflower, I don't know why, I don't even have any copies of it and neither was a solar hero. The plucky clover doesn't conjure a card.

See, umbrella leaf loses it's effect, when it has 0 health. Punish-shroom died in one action with the other mushrooms, so it was considered alive, even if it was technically dead with zero health.

The game mechanic for the punish shroom fry was that it took the damage and registered it as hurt and hi face...but it then registered the other mushroom as hurt and fit the minion again
6:00 my best guess is the abilities are deactivated before the card is marked as dead (the reason it doesn’t deactivate the punish shroom ability is because it’s a “upon death” ability)
