Great Job. Also, were the handle bars welded when you got this. I just picked a crf 50 for my son used and the Bars are welded. I want to switch them out. Could you recommend bars, etc. Thanks. Looks great

The bars were not welded on. Check out fast50s.

Im trying to redo the rings on my crf 70 because it burns oil and blows out blue smoke. What do I need to order and where from? Thanks

So do you have to drain the oil and remove the timing chain tensioner from the underside to so the BBK? Some say yes and some no?

I have a question my son has mastered the 50's power and is too small for a larger bike. Is the 88 kit worth the money's or should I do the 72 cc cheater kit. I am looking for more power out of the turns at the mx track.

How old is your son? I'd go 88cc kit and you can always limit the throttle?

MatthewMCRepair thank you for the reply! He is a small 6 year at 50lbs the kx65 is too tall as well as the crf70. The 50 is at perfect height to where he can have both feet on the ground.

hello I hope some one can help me I just bought an 88cc kit for my fifty ... which includes piston, cylinder, 108 stroker crank, and I also bought a high volume oil pump... all of my friend been telling me to get a race head but I already went over my budget.... would this work on the stock head ... or should I buy a cam and new valves .... thanks

+colin “colinridesbikes101” bowes I would agree with your friend. That engine is going to breathe well through the stock head with a big bore and stroker.

+MatthewMCRepair do u mean not going to breathe well if I can't stop now. do you happen to know a place or website that I can buy just the cylinder head because every place I look has it with the piston. and I bought the piston already thank you

+MatthewMCRepair also should I get a performance carb?

+colin “colinridesbikes101” bowes Not sure where you can buy head only. My point was all your mods won't compliment each other w/o a better flowing head.
