My Honda Brio - 7 Years, 72000 Kms and still going strong. Recently upgraded the Tyres to Yokohama Earth 1 Tyres with profile 185/65 R14 along with new set of Alloy Wheels. And damn it got a new life into it. Rear space is even much better than i20.
I am owning Brio S MT 2012, on highway you can easily overtake with this car, who uses CDs nowadays instead USB port is provided. Lastly you are comparing 1200 cc segment vehicles right? I believe it competes well with Swift/i10/Micra only Polo is exceptional.
@mohammed sir, I had found a Brio 2012 S MT as a used car, just wanted to know whether abs and airbags were offered in this variant. Also can this be considered to buy in 2024 as a used car. I am a new driver so looking out to purchase a used car. The Brio which I have found is single owner and 58000 km driven. The front suspension is a bit weak, the tyres need to be replaced in future as they are almost worn out and the clutch seems to be a bit hard compared to similar Brio's. It is available for ₹2 lakhs Else another option is 2016 Brio S MT single owner and 66000 km driven. It's available for ₹3.25 lakhs
@@vaibhav_naik S MT Brio comes with ABS and no air bags. If you are economically tight then go for 2012 model and change the tyres to 175/70 R14 (older is 175/65 R14) which increases ground clearance. Any 11 years old vehicle will have this kind of condition clutch and suspension hardness. Show to local garage they may fix it cheaply. Final decision has to be taken by you depending on test drive.
@@mohammedhaneeft162 how is the steering feedback of Brio ? Do you have any experience with the steering feedback of Hyundai cars ? Actually I have another offer Grand i10 2014 for ₹3.50 lakhs, but heard a lot that the steering feedback doesn't inspire confidence, just curious on whether the steering feedback and the connection of the car on the road can be a deal breaker .
Did you just say v tech doesn't kick in you? Dude, this car even by today's standards (2021) has more power than swift and i20. When it was launched it was 3rd most powerful hatchback only after Polo GT and Abarth Punto.
Both the Polo GT TSI and Abarth Punto are turbo charged and The Brio on the other hand is naturally aspirated & as we all know, to extract the juice out of a naturally aspirated engine, we need to rev to to the redline which is not what happens while day to day driving. And yes, V-Tec doesn’t kick in, in this one. Power aside, it doesn’t have that feel.
Who told u brio is not good for highway??I traveled whole.india with my brio...it can easily overtake don't be so biased towards your aspect view .. 1 dislike from me 👍
Agree dude, driving in hilly roads and highway. The rev brio gave is unmatchable with any car in this section. Infact after driving brio u won’t even like any other car in this segment.
I've driven my Brio across India, a little downshift may be required at times to overtake larger vehicles, but never faced performance issue on highways..And, ivtec does kick in at around 4k RPM and there is a sweet tone to it. I still have my 50K driven 2012 brio, and easily touches 140 without stressing the engine and makes you grin with amusement. However, GC has always been an issue on bumpy roads. I wish to keep my Brio forever, but due to limited parking space I might have to let her go 💔
@@AD-fl3uz Sir how is the steering feedback and road connect of Brio when compared to grand i10 ? Has more than enough power to overtake on the highways! It's power to weight ratio is right at the top among small cars!
