Mack Trucks MP7: Double Idler Gear Pinning Modification

Mack Trucks has authorized a pinning modification of the double idler gear on certain
EPA2010 emission level vehicles equipped with MACK MP7 engines. The double idler gear must be pinned on all vehicles involved in this campaign. Before proceeding, verify campaign eligibility by checking Service Program status in eWarranty.

Dan Webster no. Mack and volvo engines of this generation have the dual idler retainer walk loose and the gear will grind into the housing eventually causing catastrophic failure.
