I would suggest using carrots in your villager breeder cause potatoes produce poisonous potatoes and after a long time (ok very long time but it will happen) thei inventory will be filled with poisonous potatoes and wont be able to collect anything else, and thus, your breeder will stop working. Also, the rate of zombies picking up an item depends on your difficulty. If your difficulty is at normal, the chances are very low. If its at hard, the chances are alot higher. Finaly, if you want to get a mob in a boat, the mob have to move on the boat. If you want to get a mob in a minecart, the minecart have to move on the mob... idk if it makes sense but basically it depends wich entity is moving. So if you want to get the zombie in the minecart, you need to push the minecart on the zombie. Hope it helps ❤😊

Hey tobe I think if u added a chest/barrel at the bottom of ur mine track with a couple minecarts with chests in it it would save u time as u could send up some items in it and keep mining, just an idea. If u do this can u say thanks to Philip
Also just explore caves for diamonds and one more idea is put the respiration 3 on your helmet and grab some water breathing potions and go for big water caves. they dont have mobs as they are filled with water and itll be easy to grab some diamonds and other ores!

Actual best way to get diamonds is mining sculk in huge caves cause diamonds have a higher chance of spawning under them

One easy way to trap villagers is chest boats. Now in 1.21 you can put a lead rope on boats. So this will be a super easy way to transport villagers!

In the new updates stripmining is very unefficient, i reccomend going into caves, bc it's an extreamly fast way to mine dimonds.
