All AMD reference version cards came with that style cooler some Nvidia cards did as well they may run hot but they move more heat out of case than the aftermarket coolers
I've had nothing but unstable windows drivers for my RX5600xt and instead of getting rid of it I put it in my backup PC and installed Fedora 36 and the card now is 100% stable and most games perform better in Linux
Yeah I've actually had a lot of problems with AMD drivers in the past few years as well. Really a shame that they can't seem to figure out stability instead of shoving in new features all the time.
Thanks to your video, I now can use my 480 without unbearable noise. Thank you, this was a fun project.
I've had my RX480 since launch. Been a fantastic card. No issues with the stock cooler, been quiet too.
I wish mine had the backplate.
Maybe XFX just sucks idk
That's funny that you ended up using a stylus to support it

One of my favorite things to do rn is learn Linux, I'd love to see more Linux content from you, your channel is very good!
Might be able too check memory temperatures with gpu-z if you look at sensors there.
nice mod

No sir I did not find your video boring but the real question is can it run crisis 😂
I don’t disagree with you and video how to sucks especially on Linux but seriously we can fix it with some duct tape
