    Got a pair a month ago, almost on the day of the launch. They are fantastic. Good and comfortable heel grip inside for me :), feet don't wobble around. Fast with less effort.

      Did you not get any heel rub at all??

      @SuperParallels 2 месяца назад +1

      No, none at all. Maybe my heel is a perfect fit for this shoe though.

      @SuperParallels lucky! But also that’s great to hear that it’s going to work out for some runners because it’s a great shoe other than that heel counter . Can I ask what type of foot do you have? Slim/high volume? And what shoe size are you?

    The heel counter seems to be peoples feet and how they are shaped. I have multiple pairs of Hoka's and they have always fit me like a glove. These are no different. I have had them for about two weeks, and do not wear socks, ever, and have zero issues with the heel. These are fast and I have hit times that I have not hit in several years. These are a dream to run in despite some reviewer's knocking the heel counter. If you have had Hoka's and never had a problem with their fit, try these out for sure. People's feet sure are getting sensitive over the years. I ran in canvas Converse in high school, and seem to be better for it today.

      That’s certainly interesting because I have reviewed every Hoka running shoe currently available and have only experienced rubbing at the heel on the Mach X 2 - And for the record, I have pretty hardy feet (I run a lot of ultras) and test around 100 shoes a year (if I had sensitive feet they’d be destroyed having to run in so many different shoe types so frequently. Maybe there has been a bad batch put out there, either way I’m glad that they’re working out really well for some runners out there because they’re great other than the uppers collar/heel counter design.

      @@trailandkale Has to be the shape of people's heels. Everyone's different. My issue is that you said not to buy them because of the heel issue You had. People really need to get these and try them out for themselves. I almost did not buy them because of the reviews I read. I am happy that I went with my gut and ignored them. They have been splendid. Appreciate your views non the less. Everyone has their own take.

      @SteevWho thanks Steve, I did mention that there will be runners who wont experience it. Have you tried the Cielo X 1 yet? It’s basically this on steroids. So damn fast - my favorite super shoe by far.

      @@trailandkale I still haven't gotten to the point where I Feel like a super athlete yet, ha. I have heard wonderful things about them though. Maybe my next pair before they get to the Cielo X2.👍🏻

      Hey I am a decent runner (17:50 5k pr) and I’m looking for an affordable performance/workout shoe for 5k to half marathon distance. Now there’s a lot of shoes that I’ve been looking at but my feet are kinda abnormal. My ankles slightly pronate, my feet are pretty flat and are also wide. This really limits my shoe finding as the local stores in my area don’t carry plated shoes and I can’t try them on. The main trainers I use are the Clifton 9 as they fit my width well, but I hear the shoes I’m looking for (rocket x, Mach x or carbon x) are on the slimmer side. Do you think they’d work, or do you have any similar fit recommendations? I’ve already learned that Nike are too narrow. Thanks

      Madness isn’t it! Hokas usually have super comfy uppers. Big shame

    Would these be any good for day to day walking around as a lifestyle shoe?

    • @SteevWho
      @SteevWho 21 день назад

      @@forboarders I would not recommend them for that as they are a bit “racy” feeling and wouldn’t want to be in them all day. I would probably recommend something more like the New Balance v14’s or if you want Super Comfort, the Brooks Glycerin Max’s as I wear those to jog in and wear at work where I am on my feet 10+ hours.

      No they’re not the best as a lifestyle shoe, that heel counter will rip your heels up on a good day
