Old, too old Manowar fan. I clicked on this just "for the laughs", when I saw that set list. All Manowar, no new stuff etc. God, I was wrong! Goosebumps in the first song and .... no need to tell more.
@ralphtom3431 I see what you mean. They seem to play in Europe all the time but I heard Manowar is coming to Brooklyn in November of this year. I am in CT. Not too far from there.
With all due respect to the young fellow, he doesn't even come close to Eric in his young days. There are bootlegs from 1984-1987 on RUclips - Eric pulled out some insanely high notes (even higher than in the studio).
Wow!! As a long time Manowar fan and I've seen them live many times..This is really good...guitarnote is on point..something Manowar kind of lost on the way...Ross plays it like it was from the beginning..love it!👍👍👍
It's interesting that in a way it's more Manowar than the official one: the guitar has style and authority, not the robotic-generic stuff of the post-Ross era (I mean that machine like shredding style of the later guitarists, and the often bafflingly generic guitar riffs of the albums made with Logan, too). And the singer sings like Eric in the 80s, without that growling which Eric too often relies on for the past 20 some years. Imho the post Ross albums can't hold a candle to the 80s stuff. Even though Joey was always the main writer he's simply not enough, especially if he's run out of good ideas and there is no one else to write together with.
Fucking WOW!!! I was jus blown away! Saw Ross in 1980 with shakin street at aloha stadium in Hawaii open for Sabbath. Never saw manowar but I still have my original demo copy I bought at tower records in Honolulu. They couldn’t have picked a better set list! EVERYTHING I wanted to hear!! Ross? I can’t say enough about him that hasn’t been said. And that singer omfg! NEVER thought I’d ever hear anyone cover Eric Adams in my lifetime. So glad I stumbled on this today so glad…
As a long time Manowar fan, Mike blew me out the water. I hope he keeps singing, he is fantastic. I thought Eric could only hit those notes. Congrats Ross, you are kicking more arse than the current ("Manowar")! I was disappointed, when they reworked Ross's albums. Money is the root of all evil I guess. Hail and Kill ninjers! Keep on Rocking!
if im not mistaken, this band, not counting mr ross, was a manowar tribute band. then they united with ross and formed this band. no wonder dude sounds like eric.
Not exactly... the guys who played in the beginning 'till 2011 with Ross were a Band called Ivory Coast and also a Manowar Coverband under the name of Men of War The singer in this Video (Mike Cotoia) is normaly in total different Metal Genre Sorry... forgot the name of his Band
the last thing these guys were was a manowar tribute band ....read basstard reply he is correct. They just intended to do a few shows with RTB which is what happened.
KILL WITH POWER !!! Holy shit this takes me back to Newcastle Mayfair 1984 , down the front of the stage with the music blasting my ears . Happy ( METAL) Daze .
It's one of the best new singers I've heard, it's not only an impressive range but also a captivating voice in itself, which was much more common in the 80s. Although there are some notes he botches because he seems hell bent on using chest voice. Better to use a mixed voice for those notes and at least hit them even if they won't have the same grit, I'm sure they won't sound powerless at all with the gusto he has in his voice.
HOW Good was this Set List. There's only one ERIC ADAMS However the 23 y'old Kid does a faarken great job particularly with those exceptionally difficult early MANOWAR Songs... loved SECRET OF STEEL. MARCH FOR REVENGE and DARK AVENGER
Definately on a par with Eric adams what a set list wish I'd been there. Loved manowar but ross is doing an exellent job of keeping the classic tunes alive thanks .....
@@Adi_Zlokob I know a year later, but this wasn't a Manowar tribute band, that was the previous time Ross played keep it true with a different band known as Men Of War
Eric Adams is incredibly difficult to copy. This guy does an amazing job.
exactly
nope...it is impossible
I love this guy, with The right band he is MONEY.
Old, too old Manowar fan. I clicked on this just "for the laughs", when I saw that set list. All Manowar, no new stuff etc. God, I was wrong! Goosebumps in the first song and .... no need to tell more.
Fantastic performance. From another World.
Those songs are as much Ross the Boss's as they are Manowar's, so there you go!
Joey deMaio - take a look at THIS setlist. This is how you do it.
Manowar's setlist in 2015 was awsome.
Great Retort ! Manowar have gotten too complacent with their newer stuff.. Gotta play the Old School Classiks !
@@mansurkhan2764 well I live in the states and they can't sell out a phone booth here so I never get to see em

When you hear this young kick ass singer does a great job you realize what an unbeatable monster vocalist Eric Adams was in his prime
Yeah it's like he's doing SUCH a good job and it's genuinely really impressive.. But at the same time he's just still not quite Eric Adams.
@@Chromodar nobody is. Eric is One on a lifetime. Like Halford, Bruce Dickinson, etc...
With all due respect to the young fellow, he doesn't even come close to Eric in his young days. There are bootlegs from 1984-1987 on RUclips - Eric pulled out some insanely high notes (even higher than in the studio).

(When Joey allows him to...)
Awesome! The vocalist is incredible 🤘
Was a fking blast.

His voice really shined from Secret of steel onwards as he got warmed up
Die alten Manowar-Klassiker mit soviel Herzblut gespielt und gesungen, Gänsehaut! 😢

This is even better than I expected
this line-up is just awesome. there's definitely chemistry between musicians when everything sounds that great
Wow the singer is amazing ! Ross the Boss !
That was incredible! And without all the babbling in between songs of a real Manowar show....
what a voice! Great singer!
This is how to keep the true fans of the real manowar happy.. hail to Ross the boss

This just proves Ross the Boss and ManOwar is awesome. True American Power Metal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This singer makes it look so easy. Like yeah sure whatever I’ll just nail every high note in Blood of my Enemies and Kill with Power. No big deal.
Fucking hell!!! this sounds more like Manowar than Manowar has for so very long
Such a great bad ass setlist. Great performance! Hail!
Manowar fans check it out. I gotta admit, I liked it. Bravo Ross the Boss!
10:50 favorite song
This line-up sounds a lot better than Manowar nowadays. I didn't expect such good performance by the Ross The Boss band... Greetings from Bulgaria!
Great voice!!!
Hope the who ever he is on the vocal is still with them 2021

Come on here to see some RTB stuff and see my friend Bones up there with him chunking out the deMaio licks. Way to go, Kev. Love it!
