I like the idea that Vicktor and Stella are more of a Romeo and Juliet type couple and that her madness is the result of her wanting to help Vicktor with his studies and a spell went wrong. This will change Vicktor's character quite a bit but I plan to have the player take the burgomaster out of power and putting lady Wachter in only to findout their mistake and this will allow the players to have Vicktor and Stella come together and run Vallaki.
Thank you for this whole Playlist man this is my first campaign I've ever ran and your videos have help me out more than you know man thank you and I know my group would thank you too
Involving the brides of Strahd is a great idea. I'll start to use them, maybe even with some jealous moves against Irena, who's with the party at the moment.
Its crazy how infrequent my sessions have been... I remember when this released and here I am again! Wachter is in power and my players have a lot of false assumptions :-) just recaping the book as written
Vallaki plots are all over the place!! What I did to put 2 plots together (and on my perspective make Wachters better) was that Stradh offered Fiona a deal: you get me the bones I will give you Vallaki... so she, the coffin maker and her cultists are behind the theft of the bones.
Enjoyed this video in particular (going through your whole series) especially with the coffin maker's building. I'm going to be running a CoS campaign and I'm trying to run it as vanilla as possible (i.e. not going crazy with everyone's homebrewed additions in an effort to keep things simple). Having your general commentary and specifically tweaking the especially risky vampire spawn encounter is especially good. Thanks for this!
On the subject of Fiona Wachter, I very much see her like Glen Close in Dangerous Liaison. I will be showing my party a picture of her rather than the art depicted. I really like your videos. I think I have commented before, but I’ll say it again. Thanks
To subvert expectation my DM made Fiona in her mid to late 40’s, and had her power hungry to the extent of not hating Strahd but wanting new management.

thank you! lady wachter is one of my most favorite npcs of this module, and unfortunatly, the art in the module gives her away haha
