I love your channel so much. Great intros that explain what gear and lures your using, and then the content. No gimmicks. No fishing with different foods. No building your own watercraft's. Just quiet, peaceful fishing, good comradery, and the sounds of nature. That's how fishing should be! Thank you!
I thought the Pelican was going to be a canoe. That is a sweet set up! I love the anchor idea also. That would be a sweet Musky rig. Once you guys got fishing, I was impressed with those awesome panfish beauties. Love the copper color Gill at 8:30. Another top notch fishing production 💥🎣🥇
Chris, you have mastered the perfect RUclips fishing video! Seriously, no one else delivers the amount of information, visual comfort, constant intrigue, and emotional connectivity like you do throughout the entire video! Excellent fishing experience you both delivered! Keep catching 'em brother! Thanks for sharing!
Been saving up some funds to get myself a Pond Prowler for myself. Going to be my over the winter project so I'll be ready to fish out of it next spring. Hoping to get it sooner so I can get a bit this year as well.
That’s awesome! Are you looking at an 8’ or 10’ boat? They are great little boats for the price range. Has everything you need to get on the water and catch a bunch of fish. Thanks for watching!
@@pistolcreek Most likely it will be the 8 footer since I'm the only one really be out on it. Will be mainly targeting panfish like bluegills and crappies out of it.
@@JASONBECKFISHING The 8’ will be perfect for you, then. That’s what I have and use for the same purpose. In my opinion, it is kind of the best of both worlds between a kayak and a Jon boat. Lightweight and easy to store/transport, while also having enough stability and room to fish comfortably. Hope it works out for you!
Nice upgrade on the seats! Need to be comfortable out there on the water😉 Pistol creek panfishing decal definitely a great addition to the boat!Pretty sweet setup for sure! You guys were getting on some absolutely beautiful Bluegills. Nice getting the lm bass in the mix too. Great day on the water Chris!!! 👊
Great video guys. I’ve been fishing out of those small two persons boat for quite some time now. I thoroughly enjoyed it too. Great for small ponds, lakes, and rivers. Enjoyed the nice bluegills you guys caught. Stay safe and keep doing what you’re doing, from west Tennessee 👍🏾.
Thank you so much! You guys out in West Tennessee have some jumbo panfish. I always envied TroutmagnetMan Randy Goad’s hand-sized bluegill and shellcracker catches when he fished out that way.
That’s a great little rig, y’all got me wishing I bought one of those instead of a kayak 🤣 Looked like a fun day out there brother, y’all sure did catch quite a few and the colors were popping on those fish as always. Keep up the great work and hope you have a great week my friend!
Nice catches guys awesome trip! That Presso rod is entertaining it just bends and bends some more. The wife said I can't have a boat because I wouldn't come home. 😆 Beautiful and peaceful place to fish! Great job Chris!
Man I'm so jealous of you guys with those little boats! Lol. Looks like so much fun.. Love that Shimano combo too. That red really stands out. That nine and a half inch bluegill was fantastic
I just really like the small Honda motors and this one is the lightest outboard on the market. It only weighs around 27lbs, so for a boat like mine, it’s a nice fit. At the time, I also didn’t own a trailer, so I had to load and unload everything from my truck. The Honda BFD2 is a backsaver in that regard.
Just found your channel. I have a question about ultralight fishing. I was given a 7'6 ultralight rod combo with a 1000 reel. Would 2lb test using trout magnets cast far? I'll be either bank or kayak. Thanks!
2lb test is perfect for Trout Magnets, especially the Trout SOS line. It’s super smooth. Since the jig heads are 1/64 oz, this will help you get the best casting distance. You might also try fishing them under a small float or with a bb split shot to increase your casting distance from the bank. They are a fantastic lure, my personal favorite, and will help you catch plenty of fish. Ultralight fishing can be incredibly fun and rewarding. Good luck out there and thank you so much for watching!

4:11 You got a microphone inside the reel? That drag sounds good.
No, sir. That reel just has a nice ring to it. One of the reasons I enjoy using it.

Chris, you guys had an amazing day of fishing out there! I have been looking into them small boats. Look very nice to fish out of. 🏆🏆🏆
Thank you so much, Domingo! You would catch a bunch of crappie with one of these boats, for sure. Super stable and comfortable for such a small boat.
