Mitsume ga Tooru (translated to "The Three-Eyed One") is a side scrolling action platformer based on the manga of the same name, written by legendary manga artist Osamu Tezuka. In this Japan-only game, our psychic hero with a magical trident must defeat a variety of enemies, including possibly trolls. The kind with big pink fluffy hair. This run features no death and very accurate use of weapons. The trident in particular is very similar to Mega Man V.
This is a 454 frame improvement over the previous movie thanks to better optimization. This run also has been console verified, you can watch the verification here ( • [TAS Verified] NES Mit... ).

I love this game, played a lot when I was a kid. Actually, not exactly this one, I played a rom hack of this game with a Chameleon sprite called Pokemon Red lol
Truth is, Natsume had great games in the NES era, all of them with great soundtracks. Mitsume ga Tooru and Shatterhand are my favorites.
