I had a Loctician start my locs so I battle with how she twist them. Currently, I’m on my 2nd loctician and she does totally different from the first. No clips and a little gel in between so I believe she twist different from the first loctician. I’ll get it right with the help of this video!! Thank you love!! #LocCrew

Thanks!! I would just guess and continue to retwist your hair in the same direction every time. I’m not a professional but I’m sure one time won’t hurt! Your hair will eventually be trained to being retwisted in the same direction!
I have 4b hair. I think you should try the gel though. For me it was trail and error trying to find the right gel for my retwist. This gel had the best hold for me and they also has 4 oz containers if you just want to test it out!

After moving from Atl to DFW the prices of retwist are insane I was paying $80 here they want $180 and up. I refuse to pay that much money and after 4years I will be retwist my own hair for the first time. I’ll save money lol.

Thanks! I didn’t put them in all at once, I just put them in whenever I was bored watching tv. Considering the amount of locs i have it probably would have taken me 2-3 hours if i did them all at once . And they last until cut them out!

Would love some advice about cleaning clips. After a few retwist there's lots of dried gel and not sure how to clean them best without rusting.
Make sure you blow dry them on a towel so they’re not air drying with water on them still

You can try tying down your edges with a satin scarf when doing your sport activities maybe.
