I stand behind this! You aren’t doing anything wrong by sharing your experience. Consumers have a voice too! People who are into roses will buy it but for those who like an artist and buys everything released thinking each deck will be different are at a loss when the decks are similar.
Consumers have a voice indeed. And you are right, those who buy it thinking it will be different from the others (like I did) are at a loss, luckily I got refunded for it but it shouldn’t happen. We’re not here to only give our money away to greedy people.
People need to draw the attention of the publisher to these types of videos. It's very insulting that they feel we're just easy marks for this type of scammy business practice.
I completely agree with you but I don’t think they’ll care. They’ve become a greedy company so they only care about the profit. And as soon as there will be demand, they will keep offering so I think there needs to be a shift in the spiritual community so people stop buying decks for the sake of it and look at the level of integrity involved in this deck.
Wow!!! Moran, this was so detailed. That must have taken alot of time to find the similarities. Great video. The art is gorgeous but you are right they are all VERY similar. xox
Thanks Dani ❤️. The art is gorgeous indeed, maybe this artist will collaborate on another deck or create her own cause I really like her art. But yeah this was way too similar for me to keep plus I don’t understand the Mother Rose thing. Thanks for watching Dani ❤️
I’m a very casual enjoyer of tarot and oracles, but I do owe the Starseed deck and have thought about getting the Rose deck as well, which is why I looked for reviews. My respect for you skyrocketed the moment you admitted a lot of new age publishers try to draw people in with aesthetics and a rose tinted feeling. I still think the Rose deck is beautiful, but it has little use for me.
You are welcome 🙏🏻 . It’s only my own personal view but if you see what I see maybe you don’t need to buy the 3 decks and maybe only 1 of them 😊. I have 2 but I really only use the Starseed one. Thanks for watching and commenting 😊♥️
I created a side-by-side comparison of all three of these decks over on my channel so that people could get a feel for which deck(s) they like (or not). But you point out some commonalities that many of us may have overlooked. Thank you for taking the time to do this. This is one reason I love to follow different tarot/oracle channels, to get a different perspective on the cards.💌
Yeah that was kind of my intent too but also to point out why you don’t necessarily need the 3 and to spend more responsibly cause some publishers don’t care. They just recycle the same thing over and over expecting us to fork out our money. Thanks for watching and commenting I appreciate 😊🙏🏻❤️. I’ll head over to your channel to see your video too 😊.
@@star_seed_tarot these are channelled decks , so maybe there's a higher reason as to the similarities with the decks... Infact Rebecca popped a vid up herself of comparison and explanation.
@@victoriaroyle3980 there's a saying "when you get the message, hang up the phone" that I feel applies here. If you're channeling the same message repeatedly, I'm sure it's important, but do you need to make a bunch of very similar decks? I don't think so.
This is one of the reasons I don't click with oracle decks in general. This is true of all the DV decks also- all the same! There is definitely a formula, and many times the name is what sells. Starseed is the best of the three in my opinion. I'm glad to find your channel!💜
Yes I totally see your point with Oracle decks being the same. I tend to choose my oracles more wisely now, they really need to be unique and bring something different to my readings (like the Purgatorium Oracle). Thanks for watching and commenting, I am glad you are here too 😊♥️
I'd love to believe that the three decks were created to cater to different audiences... The people into self enlightment would lean towards Work Your Light, but might be turned off by the word "Starseed" so avoid that deck, and the Rose Oracle might be picked up by those more interested in natural, plant-based energies. Of course, that's probably not the case at all, and they just want the deck sales! I personally have all three, but I'm a collector as well as a reader and I got them all during Hay House sales, and I do get a different feeling (or vibe) from each deck. But I totally get what you're saying with the many similarities between the decks, and there is so much crossover between the three when it comes to meanings that I agree that the majority of readers would not need all of them at all.
I would love to believe also that it has been created with this intend but I don’t think that’s the case 😕. They’re just using a big name with a new concept and that ensure them sales, otherwise it wouldn’t be sold so cheap if they didn’t know in advance it would sell. But yeah maybe that’s the way people see it, so fair enough. And yes I get your point in collecting the decks, it’s fair enough 😊 but yeah I think the problem for me is because it’s a new concept (the Mother Rose thing) I would have expected a complete or at least less similar deck than the 2 previous ones. Thanks for watching and commenting 😊🙏🏻❤️
I have the starseed but I have to admit I impulse bought the rose Oracle because I’m a plant obsessed person lol I had no other reason to buy it as I have so many decks already. It’s very vague, which a lot of Oracle decks are, but I feel like this one is even more than usual. I will keep it because I vibe with it so well but I won’t be reaching for it as often as some of my rider based decks or even the starseed.
Thank you for your honest review. I really like the art and was thinking to buy a second deck. Your video is a good reminder for me not to blindly fall into their work just because I like my first deck. Although it may not be bad they published another one, since some people may not resonate with the style from the first one but another, I will definitely watch the review of their new work as your suggested. Just wish the intention of the publisher is not as you mentioned though....
Thank you for watching and commenting. I agree with you on the art being different and people not liking the art on the previous decks but I find it very sad the same messages are being used on all of them when there are so much more possibilities because of the freedom an Oracle deck gives. Thanks again for sharing your view 😊🙏🏻
I have an inordinate amounth of decks, including two of the three you showcase here. Sure, there are similarities, so your criticism is on point. On the other hand, nobody is forcing us to buy every single deck a publisher/author produces.
Very true, unfortunately I expected something different and was left feeling like I bought another hybrid between two decks which made me question the integrity of these decks as a whole. And since then (2 years or more ago), as you said I haven’t bought any of Rebecca Campbell decks.
Thank you for your perspective. I have and love both WYL and Starseed but for some reason I just wasn’t feeling particularly motivated to jump on the Rose. But I’ve gone back and forth because others have really enjoyed it so why wouldn’t I? After seeing this honest review, I’m glad I didn’t purchase after all. 💛
You are welcome 🙏🏻. Yeah I completely feel you, I pre ordered it in the same kind of attitude being like Oh I have the WYL and the Starseed that I like, it’s another one by Rebecca Campbell so obviously I will like it. But as soon as I flipped through the cards I was feeling something off about this deck. And then the whole Mother Rose thing explained in the guidebook I couldn’t relate or understand. I’m glad some people enjoy it but it wasn’t for me and I truly believe if you have the WYL and the Starseed, the Rose is not needed. Thanks for watching and commenting I appreciate 🙏🏻❤️
Thank you for making a video addressing the similarity between these decks! 🙏 It's actually ridiculous. I have the Work Your Light and Starseed oracles and was watching a review/flip through by Wicked Moonlight and the first thing I noticed was how it's the same thing as Campbell's other decks all over again. I was shocked that she was praising this deck without any mention of how many of the keywords, titles, messages and even photos had clearly been reused in the Rose oracle. I agree with you and think it's just a money grabbing project, nothing more. So incredibly disappointing, as with genuine thought and consideration, this could have been her best deck yet 🤦♀
And thank you very much for watching and commenting 🙏🏻❤️. I agree with you, the fact there are so many similarities is actually ridiculous as you said. I’ve done a flipthrough of this deck too and that’s when I first noticed the similarities. It’s just money grabbing, reuse the same words and sentences, put a big name on the box and here we are. And I agree with you, the artwork of this deck is STUNNING and if there would have been a bit more integrity and originality behind the deck it would have been probably a must have for any collectors or oracle readers. Again, thanks a lot for watching ❤️
Boho Tarot did an interesting video - Curating the Lightseed Oracle? - combining Work Your Light with Starseed, then removing the cards with duplicated meanings, to create one big oracle.
Oh yeah I’ve seen this one! It’s a nice idea but my OCD wouldn’t let me have deck with totally different backgrounds haha 😂. I also did this to highlight a larger problem with publishers using the new age trend to make money off readers. Fair enough I didn’t really look at what I was getting when I pressed preorder but it shouldn’t matter. If it’s a different deck with a different concept I should get a deck that is different from the 2 others 😊. Thanks for passing by, watching the video and leaving a comment, I appreciate a lot ❤️🙏🏻
@@star_seed_tarot I know what you mean about OCD - I wanted to mod a couple of decks, took me ages to find ones where the backs still looked good enough to satisfy me after being trimmed LOL
I've done the same thing with the WYL and the Rose Oracle. Starseed stuff is generally not my thing, but when you take out those cards and the duplicate meanings you end up with a really workable divine feminine and personal power deck. Mines 64 cards so still shuffleable!
I just bought the Rose Oracle for a great deal at Marshall’s and figured I’d come home to listening to the reviews. Glad I haven’t taken the plastic wrapping because after looking at all your examples, I’m disappointed there are so many similarities and have decided to return it even though it was a 50% savings. I already have the WYL and Starseed.
Tbh I don’t blame you for sending it back, even if it was 50% off, it’s still money that could be used on another, more unique deck where work has actually been put in. I was so disappointed too to see the similarities. To me, it sounded like a new type of oracle but no, it’s just previous jobs being regurgitated. Very sad and it put me off future work from her tbh. Anyway, thanks for watching and commenting I really appreciate
Hi, just found your channel and entered the fan base :) First of all I think it is also good to have another view on decks and not only to have the "it is awesome" in each video. All products have reviews of pros and cons, so why not tarot and oracle as well. Another point I think is really imporant and thanks for sharing this, is the "make money" point for all the tarot and oracles. As I just entered the world of tarot and oracles I was first really distracted by all the choose I have as there is always the questions "what is the right for me? What is going to help most?" and after buying already view I had also the feeling it is about trend as so many people are looking into it now, so this topic got this buissnes touch to it which I do not really feel so comfortable with. But still, as I also like drawing into my free time I´ve decided after a while just to enjoy the pics and sometimes buy to support the artist I like (for example ciro marchetti, just love his art, love to look and enjoy the pics). About this Decks, I have really two of them the "Work your light" and the "Rose Oracle" but again, I´ve bought the Rose Oracle as I really enjoyed the art and this was somekind of closer to my style than the Work your Light. But the point of similar messages in all three of them is really good and also that not all three are needed.
and just add to my comment. In the end of the day I think since someone signed a contract with a publishing house gets somehow into the money making and performance sheen. This people get deadlines when something has to be finished they get request to produce more as it sells and not so sure if "spirituality" is something you can put into something performance based. So started to be more carefully as soon as I see that decks from a specific person start to get this massive production with x decks created in short time flair. Like already mentioned you can enjoy the artistry but this is something different than doing readings for other people.
But isn't this true of every tarot deck? The sane 78 cards! So why do we usually collect so many of them? Because the same Fool card in each deck conveys different shades of meaning through the art . Also the guide book gives unique interpretations. I enjoy the many facted approaches. And I have all three of these and don't mind the overlap. I pair them with other decks for some unique readings. I like your review, tho. You spent a lot of time on the details you are citing. I just overlook these similarities as each card works in its own way within the deck and with the spread you use.
Whether I agree with your statement at some level I also feel that this is the exact problem I’m trying to convey haha 😂. So for me, the Tarot has a system, so it’s more restrictive in this aspect and you can rarely very deviate from the meaning. As you said, the Fool will always be the Fool and will have the same meaning for each decks and then using our intuition or looking at the imageries to get slightly different meaning and interpretations but the main message will always be the same. While an Oracle deck is completely free, doesn’t have a set system so my problem is, why create 3 almost identical (to me they do feel all the same) Oracle decks when you have the freedom of creating 3 unique and different decks? Thanks a lot for watching the review and sharing your opinion on the topic, I really appreciate it 🙏🏻😊♥️
De rien Mira 😊. Merci to you for stopping by, watching the video and commenting, I really appreciate it 😊🙏🏻♥️. I always try to be respectful because as much as I have tons of things to say about it, there has been some work involved (the artist, the promoters of the deck, Rebecca’s writing …) so it has to be acknowledged as well as the less “good” things. Thanks again and welcome to my little corner on RUclips 😊♥️
Iv got all off them and I really like them all but I am a big fan off hers love that ur being truthful about them but I love her work plz don't think I'm being nasty or anything 😊
Of course not, you’re entitled to your own opinions and I’m glad people can enjoy her work 😊. Her Starseed Oracle is still one of my absolute favourite deck.
Ah that would definitely be helpful to them, they need to reconnect to their customer base instead of always regurgitating the same things over and over again. Welcome 🙏🏻
Thank you for this. I have WYL and Starseed already and I’ve already removed several cards from the oracle deck shuffle. I found too many meanings irrelevant, redundant, or hard to work with. All her decks are beautiful, but I wish Rebecca Campbell put more care into creating unique cards. The ideal would be each deck having its own distinct theme and tone. The only difference between the oracle decks is the color scheme. You really only need one.
Exactly, they’re all very pretty because of the artist but her decks as an author are all the same now. There is a new one every 6 months or so (the water one, the stones one …) and I really question the integrity of these decks. Tbh, since my disappointment with the Rose Oracle I haven’t bought anything from her ever again.
Thank you, I was looking at these three desks in the store (plus YT reviews) and thought they are very very similar. Now I'm just going to purchase the first one, "Work your light". 💖
You are welcome 🙏🏻. I am glad it helped you make a decision, they are very similar and in my opinion no one needs the 3. Work your light oracle is very good 😊. Thanks for watching and commenting ❤️
I'll probably have to hide after this but most Oracles look/sound the same to me these days, with few exceptions. These are prime examples of why I don't have any in this genre especially 🤷♀️
Thank you I was just about to buy the 2 of those, now I won’t buy any but I’ll go instead with the new one ancient stones . The graphics are beautiful tho every deck is a peach of art
You are welcome 🙏🏻 and Yes thank you that’s exactly my point. You don’t need ALL of her decks, you can get the same messages by buying the one you resonates the most with when looking at the images or the concept (Starseed, ancient stones, water, rose …). But everyone is free to also buy all of them if they want, I just felt it was necessary to show people all of these decks are pretty similar and you don’t necessarily have to buy them all, but you can do if you want.
What really does not sit well with me is when the creator of a deck (whether it is tarot or oracle) puts the Artist's name in tiny print or no special recignition in the guide book. Especially since artwork is a huge part of choosing intuitively which deck to go with.
I make decks on my own entirely as a artist, poet, channel, and intuitive I make all my own things for every aspect of the work. I actually made my starseed Oracle before any of these came to be from her and there is some of the same names I got from spirit. I had only made 2 so far at the time and was still learning myself, now I have 27 decks I made and I am planning to make the boxes and so on for many of the ones I did before I found the boxes I can that aren't as expensive of a deck. In the case with these mass production and publishers behind them the likelihood of Many hands involved is high. With myself I'm on the verge of my own undoing because help is difficult never-ending with my work where nobody can channel in my place, auto writing in my place, share my exact perspective or guidance and it has been a solo journey on my shamanic path which I had not any choice in with spirit deciding certain things. But I just wanted to share not all of us are over sight anyone some of us it is just us.
@@primalblissco The art is the focal point. It makes up a massive percent of what the deck offers. Give credit where credit is due. Just because you pay someone to do their job does not mean they do not deserve recognition. You tell a photographer what you would like for photos and you pay them to make it come true, you don't take credit for the photos or their hard work though. For example, if a real estate company pays a photgrapher to build a portfolio of photographs for their business, they will give credit to the photographer on that portfolio. It is being respectful of another business and showing appreciation for their hard work. We can agree to disagree, everyone has their own views, perspectives and experiences and I respect yours even if I do not agree. Have a wonderful day! :)
I feel like this compares well with a tarot choice I made a while back between Danielle Noel's decks The Star Child Tarot and The Moon Child Tarot. I loved the art on both, and I knew I didn't need both. I feel like the spirit of this video is betrayal, but I don't feel this should be the take away. Decks by the same creator tend to be very similar, but they will produce different ones to reach a different audience. Bringing attention to their similarities is very important from a consumer stand point, but I don't believe she did anything wrong by proving people with a choice
Fair enough, I have both the Starchild Tarot & Moon Child Tarot and although the artwork is similar the decks are different, plus it’s a Tarot, there is a system in place and you cannot really go away from it otherwise it’s not a Tarot anymore. With an Oracle you are free, so why use the same ideas and messaging if the concepts appear to be different? Surely the Starseed oracle should have its unique voice compared to the Rose one for example. I still think her decks, one coming after the other with a different name (rose, waters, stones…) is a marketing scheme for easy money. But we are all entitled to our opinions and I respect yours 😊. Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to express how you feel 🙏🏻♥️
Not only the key words or themes of individual cards in these decks, but also the Double Mission card from Starseed is the same face as the Great Mother card from Rose oracle. I was so disappointed with the Rose oracle that I never bought her water deck, but I did recently receive the Ancient Stones deck in a subscription box. I think I might go through to see if she has changed her themes at all or if it is more of the same. At least the art work is better in the Ancient Stones than the blurred, translucent faded images of the Rose oracle.
Oh really? I didn’t even pay attention to that. Yes I was so disappointed by this that I decided not to buy any of her decks ever. Yes I’ve seen the deck in people’s hauls and it’s true that it looks better and less translucent like you said. Still not enough for me to buy it, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me 😊. Thanks for your comment 🙏🏻♥️
@@star_seed_tarotshe’s not the only creator that repeats cards. I just went through my Queen of the Moon and the Oracle of the universe, which just arrived two days ago, and so far 10 of 44 cards are the same keywords. I’m not sure how I feel about the Queen of the Sun I have on pre-order. I only ordered QotS and Oracle of the Universe because Queen of the Moon was such a good reading deck. Not sure if I want to send back Universe now or not….
@@thehealingrose Yes unfortunately all the mass market authors seem to use the same keywords on their decks. I’ve noticed that with some of Kyle Gray’a decks too. Sit with it for few days and see how you feel, depending on where you got it from you could have up to 30 days to return it so take your time to make a decision 😊.
You are very welcome 🙏🏻. And yes I completely agree, people don’t always use their integrity in reviews nowadays. There’s nothing wrong with saying the truth about what we feel while still being respectful. Thanks for your comment 😊🙏🏻♥️
I saw your channel through Martyn and you have some very valid points about these decks and the similarities! The Starseed Oracle is better in my opinion too! Great video and review. Thanks for sharing! 🌟🌟🌟
Thanks for passing by 😊🙏🏻. I will never part with the Starseed Oracle cause that’s the first one I got of the 3 and I know this deck almost by heart and I love it so much. The Work your light oracle has a different system so it’ll stay. But I agree the Starseed Oracle is the best. Thanks for commenting, appreciate you taking time out of your day to watch my video and comment 🙏🏻❤️
Great video. Dawn Michelle of Boho Tarot spoke about this just with the first 2 decks. She made a video on how she culled the excess repetitive cards from the decks, and made one deck out of what was left of them both. I have the Work your light oracle but decided not to get the starseed oracle. And I won't be buying the Rose oracle either after this video confirming what I already knew it was going to be when I saw Rebecca Campbell's name on it. I'm hoping Danielle Noel's new deck Ocean Dreams is going to have something new to offer us. Would love to see the reviews on that
Thanks a lot for watching and commenting 😊🙏🏻♥️. Yes I’ve see her video, it’s actually a good idea. I’m a bit OCD so I like when backs are the same haha 😂. I’m glad my video confirms that you don’t need all 3 decks, people will argue that the energy is different which could be true but I don’t think I need the 3 decks even if they have different energies. I haven’t pre ordered this one because again I don’t feel like I need but I think it will be different from her other decks, especially because it’s an oracle and not a Tarot and it’s themed around water. Well I hope it’ll be different anyway 😊. Thanks for being there, really appreciate you sharing your opinion 😊🙏🏻❤️

I agree! I’ve wanted to like these decks so bad I even have them on my list but every time I see them and look them over, I’m just not drawn to them, especially the rose oracle. They’re not for me right now or ever & that’s okay! Cards are beautiful though.
Exactly you always need to trust your intuition and not fall for the FOMO or the peer pressure like I did with this one. I kind of knew I wouldn’t really like it already but I was like “This is the new thing everyone will speak about and use and I want to be part of it” but obviously it wasn’t for me and that’s okay, lesson learned 😊. Thanks for your comment xx 😘
Yeah I got the Starseed one first years ago and then the work your light oracle and I pre ordered this one and I already felt like something was off and when I did my first impressions review I was like Hmmm I’ve seen these words before in her other decks. Anyway thanks for watching Hayley, I appreciate xx 😘
I much prefer Danielle Noel's artwork anyway (Work Your Light and Starseed). I find the Rose Oracle art a bit bland in comparison. I think you are right about the market for sweetness and light in oracle decks. Sometimes we need to be told that we are in the wrong or need to cop on rather than constant reassurance.
Yes to be honest and not being mean to the artist of the Rose Oracle but I also prefer Danielle Noel’s artwork. Yes, it’s okay to have decks that are fluffy and nice but when your 3 last decks are giving the same vibe (at least in my opinion) then, what are you achieving really? These decks (as much as I love my Starseed & WYL) can easily fall into toxic positivity. Thanks for commenting anyway, I appreciate you 😊✨
I honestly wanted to spend some time on this so people don’t think I just chose few cards and made a video. I literally went through the 122 cards. And some of them could have been included but I left them out. Thanks for watching Levi ❤️ always appreciate you passing by my channel ❤️
To be honest I didn’t dive deep in the guidebook because of the similarities of the cards. From what I remember from the only card I drew using that deck, yes it was similar. Also in my ways of using oracles (it can be different from other readers) I don’t tend to learn the guidebook of the cards. The keywords and image should be enough. So I definitely don’t want to learn 3 different guidebooks so the meaning will differ even if the keywords are similar.
Hello, thanks for watching 😊🙏🏻. The deck on the left is called the Work Your Light Oracle, the one in the middle is called the Starseed Oracle and the one I sent back on the right is the Rose Oracle. All by Rebecca Campbell, published by Hay House.
@@star_seed_tarot Thank you! I meant the card on the far left on its own propped up on a wooden stand. It has a woman and animals on it. It's v beautiful 💖
@@pixrainbow Ooooooh Sorry! It’s from the 78 Tarot Ecological by Trish Sullivan, it’s one of the extra cards you receive when you order the deck. It’s a collaborative deck, it’s very pretty so I’d recommend you to check it out 😊🥰
You’re welcome Orsi, I know people like you would appreciate as I know you try to spend responsibly and acquire decks responsibly as well. Thanks for your support 😊🙏🏻. And I’m glad you like the little joke to keep things lighter 😊😂❤️
certain publishers are pushing deck creators to churn them out and that's what you get. proof readers are also missing mistakes made in the instruction books.
You hit the nail on the head. I was drawn to the other decks because I love Danielle Noel’s art. The book… I never looked at much. In the rose deck, I didn’t connect with the art on seeing reviews, it felt like someone was trying to recreate the original vibe without success I may add. The art leaves me cold, and as you say how many of these type of decks do we need ? So agree in all your comments glad I didn’t give in even at low price, this is not on really.
Exactly! I think maybe the impression you have for the art could be because of the overall deception of the deck which is very sad for the artist cause I’m sure she is a talented digital artist but she’ll get overlooked as so many people feel like you and me that it’s just a replica of previous decks. I have the WYL and the Starseed and I know I won’t be buying anymore decks from Rebecca Campbell. Thanks for watching and commenting 😊❤️
Thank you for your honesty. I think it takes bravery to speak the truth because undoubtedly you will get fans of Campbell’s moaning that they disagree entirely. I enjoyed Campbell’s first book and first deck. The rest I unfortunately found uninspired, and that she was just regurgitating the work of other writers. The artwork/ packaging of her work has always been beautiful, but her actual content is nothing new and there are far superior spiritual writers out there, with genuine new insights- Alana Fairchild and Dolores Cannon are good examples. Of course this is all just my opinion.
Thanks a lot for watching and commenting, I appreciate a lot 😊🙏🏻♥️. I agree with you on all the points you’ve made and I don’t really care if people come at me, if they do it’s because deep down they probably know I’m right haha 😂. Thanks for being there ♥️
If you’re doing a big tarot reading you might actually more than one card that has the same meaning only because if not then the answers will become very vague
Yes totally agree but again. It’s Tarot, the system is already in place. Why choose to do an Oracle with same (more or less) meanings than the 2 previous ones, when you could do a complete innovative one because you are completely free with messaging and meaning? That’s where the problem is for me. Plus I have some inside knowledge of how Hay House work when creating a deck.
Thank you for your hardwork, some schemes are not to be supported and I think you were right to point that out as methodically and without disrespecting anyone. Consumerism is kind of a thing in the new age community. I want quality oracle and quality work and the ones that are going for easy money like this deck deserve to be called out because it is disrespectful to the customers. I don't know if this is an unpopular opinion and I don't want to offend anyone by saying this because everyone can support the artist they like and feel attracted to differents decks I totally respect that but I also feel like one Rebecca Campbell deck is enough. I have the work your light oracle, I enjoy it, it gives me very deep readings and stuff but I feel like it would be already too much to own both the starseed oracle and the work your light oracle again this is just my opinion and anyone is free to do as they like. But when I went to my friend she had the starseed oracle and I thought oh I ordered the same one and wanted to return it but my return failed in someway and I received the work your light oracle and I thought you woah these are so similar I couldn't tell them apart. Finally I'm glad I got the work your light instead of the starseed because there is something that makes me connect less with the starseed than the work your light but you definitely don't need both or three like you are showing it seems we have a declination of the same oracle and I'd rather support artists who renew themselves or bring something new to the market.
Thank you so much for your comment 😊♥️. I completely agree that consumerism (excessive consumerism) is definitely a thing in our current society. And you’ve exactly summed up what I wanted to say, I’d rather support the artists that try to renew themselves and really fully explore different concepts and don’t just invent a new name and use the same kind of energy. Some people don’t seem to understand what I’m trying to convey but I’m glad some people like you do. I respect every opinions, you’re entitled to like/dislike whatever you want, I just think, in my opinion, when a deck like that comes out with more than half similar meaning than the previous ones, it makes me feel like we are being taken (us customers) for fools just there to spend money. I actually had the Starseed one first and then wanted to see what the Work your light oracle was like cause a lot of people preferred it to the Starseed one. In my opinion again, I love the Starseed one, they are both very similar though the Work your light for me is more centred about you as a human being while the Starseed touches a bit more to another realities etc etc. Thanks again for commenting (and subscribing), glad you are part of my little Tarot & Oracle corner where I share unpopular opinions sometimes haha xx 😘😊♥️
@@star_seed_tarot no problem! Sadly capitalism tends to absorb everything - even things that are not really compatible such as occultism. I'm glad I found someone who shares my views and I look forward to seeing more of your work. Personally I didn't vibe with the starseed for the reasons you liked it but I was at a time I needed to work on myself so by pure luck the work your light was more relevant to what I was going through. Now for personal reasons I can't really use the work your light because I used it during a really hard period so I'm considering maybe getting the Rose oracle, or let it be. But I'm still isn't comfortable because you know this is not the kind of thing I want to support and it's kinda disappointing knowing the writer wrote books and stuff and is really well known in the community and even by beginner so you would expect more diversity in the messages and again I don't want to be disrespectful. I also have the earth alchemy oracle which is the same kind of messages but with differents themes and a different author so it's the same kind but really different. But has I watch your video again I realised that yes I summed up what you said, I hope it didn't offense you 😅 also a thing you say is that there are so positive and yes we need that sometimes but three is a lot and there as so positive that I don't feel comfortable using it for others or pro readings, only myself
Kyle Gray very similar with his decks. And Hayhouse will throw out a deck like “ raise your vibrations” under Kyle’s name, literally made for a 1st grader .
Thanks for your comment and for watching the video, I appreciate ❤️. Yeah it is too similar to be even considered if you have both. It also shows the underlying issue which is that publishers basically take advantage of a name to republish more or less the same work over and over. Anyways, thanks a lot for passing by again 😊❤️
The Rose Oracle is more about the Divine Feminine and Mother Mary/Mary Magdalene path of the rose and being a Rose Priestess. They all have different messages within all 3 decks even with the keywords yet all correlate because of the progression of peoples awakening and ascension yet sometimes the similar messages because of people regressing on their path and I do not get the same message, vibe, or meanings of what you are trying to say because they all come from different perceptions. It's like traditional tarot...you can have an ace of cups yet 10 different traditional decks but mean completely something different. Just like most readers think anything with a three like for example three of pentacles, three of swords, even the three of cups being like a third party person involved yet not every deck means the same thing. And there are other decks that have the same type of keywords and vibes as well that all mean the same thing with the same perception. Also, I got my Rose Oracle from her website and not Hay House. And there is nothing wrong with Hay House either as they have a lot of good resources. I've been in the spiritual field and teaching for the last 32 years.
Hello 👋🏻 So I will try to address some of your comments there but I would also like to reiterate that it is MY opinion and you agree or not doesn’t really matter at all but I like discussion especially when the opinions are different 😊. First point I’d like to address is the 32 years experience in the field because I don’t know if that makes your opinion more valid to mine? I don’t understand why it’s been left there as part of your argumentation but in any case, it doesn’t. Yes there is something wrong with Hay house when it comes to trying to put a big name on a box to make more money, since I have made this video, few people have messaged me with inside Hay House knowledge and confirmed that sometimes it’s just a group of people putting random keywords on cards, finding a piece of art that would work well and calling a big name to make a contract with them and that’s a job done. Not saying it’s the case with this deck in particular although it feels very much like it due to the similarities with her other decks. Your point about the Tarot is exactly the point I tried to highlight in my video and I’m sorry it didn’t come through fine (we’re all humans after all). Tarot has a system that is restrictive because despite your best efforts, a 10 of Swords is a 10 of Swords, if you depict the 10 of Swords as a 4 of Cups then it’s not the 10 of Swords anymore. So when you have the freedom an Oracle gives you, why repeat yourself ? I understand you may not feel the same thing but I still think it’s a missed opportunity to have 3 unique, different decks with different themes. Happy for you that you seem to like this deck but it wasn’t my case, as soon as I opened it, use it, it fell off. And I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. I would also like to thank you because you’ve inspired me to do a response type of video where I address the few comments like yours so I can give a clearer explanation. Have a great day/evening 😊
@@star_seed_tarot The reason that the deck seemed off to you is because it is from a Divine Feminine perception for the Rose Priestess Path. So the concepts would be different. And the reason I said what I did about the years I have had in this field is because a lot of younger generational readers like to dismiss the Elders and the paths that they have been on that gives them wisdom to understand the certain concepts and teach those concepts. So I can see why the cards wouldn't fit into your platform as you are not a Rose Priestess yet it doesn't mean that you will not run into clients looking for those specific answers to which the other 2 decks wouldn't provide indepth information to on that specific journey.
The work your light deck is the best of the three IMO. Plus I really don’t care for the boxes on the starseed and rose oracle. I hope they stop that on any future decks. One of biggest issues with the Rose deck was the pictures. They seem very washed out and the card stock was not the best the book was also flimsy.
I love the Starseed one just because it has a special place in my heart but I understand your point with the WYL, I gave a copy to my mother and she loves it, I think it’s very good. Yeah I can’t exactly remember the pictures now after few month but I think you’re right it seemed washed out and it was hard to see what was really happening. Thanks for commenting and sharing your opinion 😊🙏🏻♥️
These decks all have a muted pastel look, I usually like more vivid colors. I do like the peaceful vibe, but the Rose looks even more colorless than the others. Not for me.
I am not too sure to be honest, maybe Danielle had her own projects and couldn’t commit herself to one more (she released her Ocean Dreams Oracle that year). Thanks for stopping by and commenting, I appreciate you 😊🙏🏻
I think Hay House is a terrible publisher. They regurgitate the same crap messages, different pictures and different "authors/spiritual gurus". Louise Hay would probably be disappointed with the way their business is handled now and days.
That’s exactly it Sammy ! Same crap different messages and pictures with the name of some new age author on the box. She would indeed. It’s all money grabbing really and it’s disgusting.
I have all 3 decks too. I dont like the Rose Oracle. I doesnt speak to me. Also i didnt like the artwork. Not well defined, very blurry and all the pastel colors with very little contrast. It just doesn't hsve anything special to it.
Yes I kind of agree with you too, the artwork was a bit blurry, it was hard on some cards to see exactly what was happening, it was sometimes busy but not in the best way, hard to see what was going on.
Between the Starseed Oracle and the Work your Light I prefer the Starseed. And weirdly I understand totally what you mean about the Work Your Light and I can totally understand why some people wouldn’t like it.
Well that’s good news if you’ve never sent a deck back 😊, it means you’ve connected with all the ones you’ve received and you have good judgement on the ones you’ll connect with and those which you know you won’t 😊
They just collect dust on my shelf I think it’s great you sent it back ❤ good for you. I think valuing your money is such a huge message to the universe. Im not buying anymore kickstarters in 2023 specifically for this reason. Valuing my money.
This is amazing and very much needed. Thank you for bringing this to our attention x
No problems. Thanks for your support and making me realise I’m not crazy thinking it was off haha 😂. Love you 😍
@@star_seed_tarot haha you’re not crazy! We have all been guilty of falling down this rabbit hole. I love you too! ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks a lot for watching the video 😊🙏🏻❤️ I appreciate it. Yes it is a shame publishers do that really so I also wanted to highlight it in this video.
So on Point! I had already decided to not get the rose one, and this is great confirmation 💗✨. Thank you!
I am glad my video helped with your decision process 😊. Thanks for watching and commenting 🙏🏻❤️
Thank you for the info, I don't have any of these yet. Love hearing reviews before buying. Cheers! 🍀
@@annemurphy4720 Hahaha 🤣 it’s hard isn’t it 🤣
I've done the same thing with the WYL and the Rose Oracle.
SO helpful. Thank you so much for this! 💗
You are very welcome 😊♥️
Thanks a lot for watching the review and sharing your opinion on the topic, I really appreciate it 🙏🏻😊♥️
Merci 🙏🏻For all the work you put into it. Very helpful and Agree with the Piles of the same fluff. You do it respectfully that is a blessing 💖
❤
Iv got all off them and I really like them all but I am a big fan off hers love that ur being truthful about them but I love her work plz don't think I'm being nasty or anything 😊
Of course not, you’re entitled to your own opinions and I’m glad people can enjoy her work 😊. Her Starseed Oracle is still one of my absolute favourite deck.
I'm thinking publishers... don't use cards typically. They need a workshop.
Subbed!
PS here from Hermit’s Cave!
Ah that would definitely be helpful to them, they need to reconnect to their customer base instead of always regurgitating the same things over and over again.

I think this was a wake up call for me to be more mindful with my oracle deck purchases, especially when it’s from the same “author”.
Honestly I dont mind. Its not like a know all the cards by heart. I love Rebecca and the art of Danielle so I am very thankful for them.
Fair enough 😊🙏🏻🫶🏻
What really does not sit well with me is when the creator of a deck (whether it is tarot or oracle) puts the Artist's name in tiny print or no special recignition in the guide book. Especially since artwork is a huge part of choosing intuitively which deck to go with.
Oh yeah that’s very bad, some don’t even bother putting the artist’s name on the box it’s really bad. Thanks for commenting x
@@thehealingrose Yes unfortunately all the mass market authors seem to use the same keywords on their decks. I’ve noticed that with some of Kyle Gray’a decks too.

Super interesting with the similarities! I’ve only got Starseed, so never noticed!
Thanks for commenting anyway, I appreciate you 😊✨
This was SO THOROUGH!!! 👏
I honestly wanted to spend some time on this so people don’t think I just chose few cards and made a video. I literally went through the 122 cards. And some of them could have been included but I left them out. Thanks for watching Levi ❤️ always appreciate you passing by my channel ❤️
Are the guidebooks similar in description of the cards as well?
To be honest I didn’t dive deep in the guidebook because of the similarities of the cards. From what I remember from the only card I drew using that deck, yes it was similar. Also in my ways of using oracles (it can be different from other readers) I don’t tend to learn the guidebook of the cards. The keywords and image should be enough. So I definitely don’t want to learn 3 different guidebooks so the meaning will differ even if the keywords are similar.
@@star_seed_tarotOk, thanks!
Thank you! What oracle deck is that gorgeous card on your left from please?
It’s a collaborative deck, it’s very pretty so I’d recommend you to check it out 😊🥰
@@star_seed_tarot Thank you so much!
🥰💛
Well neither one id be getting lol thanks ❤
You are welcome 🙏🏻.
Very useful! Thanks for sharing! (Lol the bye felica XD)
You’re welcome Orsi, I know people like you would appreciate as I know you try to spend responsibly and acquire decks responsibly as well. Thanks for your support 😊🙏🏻. And I’m glad you like the little joke to keep things lighter 😊😂❤️
I have work your light and star seed. Work your light is the best imo.
Starseed oracle has a special place in my heart so I’d always choose this one first but WYL is also very good. Thanks for watching 😊🙏🏻❤️
certain publishers are pushing deck creators to churn them out and that's what you get. proof readers are also missing mistakes made in the instruction books.
You’re 100% right.
Thank you so much for this amazing work! This has to be known!
Thanks for watching 😊🙏🏻❤️. And I agree this need to be known 😊.
Thanks for being there ♥️
thank you
You are welcome 🙏🏻
So true, all these big names release decks one after the other in a matter of a couple of months.
What card deck is the one with the bear in the corner?
Hello, this card is from the 78 Ecological Tarot by 78 Tarot.
He said *BYE FELICIA* 👋🏼🤣
Haha 😂 exactly
That is good reason enough
It is indeed 😊
I have starseed and work your light. The rose looked super similar. Glad I didn’t buy it!!! Thx.
What Incense are you burning?
I wish I could remember but this video is 1 year old so I don’t know.
Hello 👋🏻
So I will try to address some of your comments there but I would also like to reiterate that it is MY opinion and you agree or not doesn’t really matter at all but I like discussion especially when the opinions are different 😊.
Thank you 🙏
You are very welcome 🙏🏻❤️
Bye Felicia! Dead 🤣🙌🏻💜
🤣 I knew you’d like it 🤣
These decks all have a muted pastel look, I usually like more vivid colors. I do like the peaceful vibe, but the Rose looks even more colorless than the others. Not for me.
Agreed with the muted pastel look and the Rose having even more of a muted colour palette. Thanks for stopping by 😊🙏🏻♥️
Why didn’t she stay with Danielle Noel as the artist? 🤔
I am not too sure to be honest, maybe Danielle had her own projects and couldn’t commit herself to one more (she released her Ocean Dreams Oracle that year). Thanks for stopping by and commenting, I appreciate you 😊🙏🏻
Watched this with the healing waters deck in front of me and it has a lot of the same cards too 😅 Its a little better but still a lot of the same…
So disappointing, I’m sure the Ancient Stones that has been released recently would have the same cards or very similar again…
I said exactly that about Louise hay too!
thank you so much! I appreciate your honesty. I also post reviews. hope you can check me out sometime. xoxo
Thanks for watching and commenting 😊🙏🏻. I have subscribed to your channel 😊 xx
I have Work Your Light but not the others. I don't like Work Your Light. There's an undercurrent of energy I don't understand or like at all.
Between the Starseed Oracle and the Work your Light I prefer the Starseed. And weirdly I understand totally what you mean about the Work Your Light and I can totally understand why some people wouldn’t like it.
Never been attracted to this deck at all. Never resonated with it. I’ve never sent a deck back though
