I have wasted so much time, effort, and money planting things that are eaten by deer and/or rabbits. The deterrent sprays work, but can be super expensive. So, I made a decision....unless the plant tag says pest, disease, deer and rabbit resistant, it can stay at the nursery. I recently fell in love with Heuchera/Heucherella and bought several colors. Something has eaten all of them. I will be removing and replacing. Just a note for your consideration. Large shrubs can be transplanted. It's not an easy job, but if done corrrectly the plants can survive. Also, azaleas and hydrangeas are deer favorites. Try spirea, peony, buddleia, diervilla, or boxwood instead.

That's a good call on your part! I too try to buy plants that are deer resistant but sometimes I get excited about the plant and forget to check, and that's what happen with these azaleas😫. Hopefully since it's tucked back more the deer will leave it alone🤞.Seems to work for my hydrangeas! I have moved large shrubs before...so much work so it's a last resort for me! Thanks for watching and the tips!
