I like how in the first kissing sequence shows both of them with their hands on the chair and Amy looks fine , but as the game carries on the guy is shown putting his hands on her and grabbing her while they kiss and Amy looks unsure/disturbed as if she is being forced to do this or she doesnt feel comfortable anymore And i also realized that the text is written in a way that makes it seem like its the guy telling her these things Eg: "This is her chance to be cool" = "This is *your* chance to be cool" "She needs to prove to everyone that she can kiss him better than any girl" = "You need to prove to everyone that you can kiss me better than any girl" During the party Amy looks extremely uncomfortable and she even gets a warning notification above her head and the boy immediately pulls her in after , leading her to punch him Also note that this boy is a senior (practically an adult) and Amy is clearly a freshman If this isnt grooming idk what this is 😅

Ok i noticed a few cool details like 1. During the second "quest", at the end she loses the highlights in her eyes, and at the party and at the end when she feels gross the shine is gone, showing her emotions "dying" 2. With each mission she looks more uncomfortable and the boy is more touchy 3. At the 3rd "cutscene" before the party the girl looks at the boy concerned 4. Also the boys.girlfriend for sure saw him kiss the girl as she frowns at the end of that "quest" 5. The closed door frame is just a photo (or a realistic drawinv but eh)
i noticed how the game makes us think the girl looked sad in the second one because the boy was talking to the glasses girl, when in reality, she was just uncomfortable with him (well what i think). i also noticed that in the same stage, when the player nears the end, the glasses girl gives a concerned look, either for jealousy or concern for the main girl being harassed/assaulted.
I noticed something before the stage 3 part. During the in between parts, in the background we get to see the girl and the guy looking at each other lovingly. Then before it cuts to stage 3 the girl’s face slowly becomes more and more uncomfortable/uneasy (like at first the girl is smiling like usual then her face becomes slightly uneasy and lastly she furrows her eyebrows before the in between part finally ends). I think it’s a way to show how slowly the girl is starting to feel uncomfortable and it becomes more visible since it’s not only seen in the gameplay but it’s slowly creeping into the in between parts as well. Imo it’s a rlly good detail (along with the other small details there rlly fun to actually look out for and point out), this is also a pretty good and unique lost flash game video! I’m mainly used to seeing makeover/dress up flash games so as someone who actually played these weird kissing flash games as a kid, this feels refreshing and interesting to actually watch

I'm mostly surprised nobody thought of this before, since kissing flash games were very common on Girls Go Games and had very creepy implications to it But I hope more people will do something with this concept, since there's a lot you can do with it!
This was GREAT! The story and artstyle is simple, yet accurate(?) to the experience of SA itself. Love the choice of going for the analog horror-esque aesthetic too, I really thought this was an actual flash game. Hats off to you for the great effort with putting this whole thing together
Hello! Great video. I have some critiques about if you want to read them: If you're going for the the old amateur flash game artstyle from like 2007 you should draw the assets using a mouse, no pad. The line thickness is right though, thinner lines apparently set it closer to like 2013, this I heard from someone who knows a lot more than me. Some of the effects you have, like the rainbow blur and other style distortions at the climax, while exciting, seem like they would fit better in an analog video setting, I've never seen flash able to smoothly run a large blur effect or gradients.
I'm not the best when it comes to effects and editing, but you're right about the rainbow blur effects not really matching the flash aesthetic, I should have probably chopped the frames up around that point..; I'll have to keep this in mind if I do another video like this Thank you for your input, I'll be sure to improve in the near future!
I love this one. Haven’t seen someone make a lost kissing game yet so this was very original and creative. Makes me wonder tho since he’s a senior and 17 or 18 if she was a bit younger, she gets increasingly more uncomfy with him in her expressions so idk I don’t really feel bad for him at the end when she hits him because he may have been 18 taking a young teen to a dangerous party to make out with her, so I feel like she had enough and did it out of self defense- his hand was on her leg and she was probably feeling in danger. I think it totally captures how freshmen girls think seniors are cool and hot and at first don’t realize how weird the senior is or that they’re being taken advantage of, and as the relationship progresses they notice they were being grossly used and honestly good for her smacking him lol
I really love how you did this, gives me a lot of girlsgogames nostalgia (both from playing it and watching RUclipsrs play it)! Also I love how you turned one of these kissing games into an incel simulator (tbh I’ve always had a weird, uncomfortable feeling abt them)
At 1:30 - 1:35, during the diary bits, Amy seems to have a change in expression as the next round is about to begin. I also noticed that in the park round, during one of the frames of Amy being grabbed to be kissed, Amy has a sort of concerned expression while the senior has a flirty expression. Another thing about the park round is how every time the senior is about to kiss Amy, her eye shine disappears.
And in the park as well, she seems to be clutching her skirt, like she suppressing an emotion (maybe feeling gross, uncomfortable) but releasing it through that action :(

Hey, I know I'm a bit late, but I did see this when it came out and I honestly like this more and more every time I think about it . While I do enjoy the Lacey games, I feel like this is better because it doesn't need to resort to cheap and easy scares like a lot of digital horror does. There aren't any scary faces, loud noises, or gore. No, the situation is already scary mainly because of how realistic and common it is. A young girl is pressured and groomed by an older guy into doing things she doesn't want to so he can use her as his play thing is a very real situation that's horrifying on its own. Having the guy turn into a monster and then scream into the screen would just detract from the issue at hand. My hat is off to you for handling this subject with such respect and nuance! Bravo!

This is very relatable for me. I am a freshman and at the beginning of the year I dated a senior. I thought it was okay but he kept making me uncomfortable and asking weird things. I broke up and ghosted him after he tried taking off my clothes. I think that this game shows an important topic that needs to be addressed. The art is also great!

GODDAMN that third segment was really good!! sent actual chills & was really unexpected to see Amy stand up for herself... EDIT: unsure if this was intentional but: the end scene where Amy went through that drawn door, shut it behind & it switched to a more realistic door? that i think adds to how real this situation can be if that makes sense.

I just realized. The more the video went on. In all the different levels. The girl slowly loses the spark in here eye as she realizes that shes being abused and Sexually assaulted. Realizing how bad the situation is and finally standing up for herself at the end. Having enough of it. I also want to note somthing. Abusice relationships can somtimes not start out abusive. Some get abusive over time. And sexual assulters dont have a specific face, or behaviour. Some victmis can even have experienced SA with a close friend or family member. Groomers and manipulators control and somtimes do things difffrent ways. And most of the time. It can be hard to identity them. Usually. When someone is being SA'ed. They dont speak up. And they tolerate it. Somtimes they only speak up when other encourage them. Or they know their in a safe area to do so. And its scary to know that somtimes people tolarate this for YEARS. And it bring relief to see this girl stand up for herself without hesitation. Its EXTREMELY important to stand up for yourself and others. And this girl had had ENOUGH. and even if this is an animation. I am SO. SO SO SO PROUD OF THIS GIRL. It takes tons of guts to do these types of thing's. And she stood up. And showed her ground. I'm not the best when it comes to effects and editing, but you're right about the rainbow blur effects not really matching the flash aesthetic, I should have probably chopped the frames up around that point..; I'll have to keep this in mind if I do another video like this

I love this one. Haven’t seen someone make a lost kissing game yet so this was very original and creative. Makes me wonder tho since he’s a senior and 17 or 18 if she was a bit younger, she gets increasingly more uncomfy with him in her expressions so idk I don’t really feel bad for him at the end when she hits him because he may have been 18 taking a young teen to a dangerous party to make out with her, so I feel like she had enough and did it out of self defense- his hand was on her leg and she was probably feeling in danger. I think it totally captures how freshmen girls think seniors are cool and hot and at first don’t realize how weird the senior is or that they’re being taken advantage of, and as the relationship progresses they notice they were being grossly used and honestly good for her smacking him lol

1:16 when you realize the girl on the side looks “sassy” and looks like a stereotypical mean girl but she ends up looking like a normal girl
At 1:30 - 1:35, during the diary bits, Amy seems to have a change in expression as the next round is about to begin. I also noticed that in the park round, during one of the frames of Amy being grabbed to be kissed, Amy has a sort of concerned expression while the senior has a flirty expression. Another thing about the park round is how every time the senior is about to kiss Amy, her eye shine disappears.
And in the park as well, she seems to be clutching her skirt, like she suppressing an emotion (maybe feeling gross, uncomfortable) but releasing it through that action :(
I noticed that in the scene right before the party, the Amy looks at the text and then seem disturbed
and I also saw after the “you won!” screen, it’s Amy saying “I feel gross..”
Hey, I know I'm a bit late, but I did see this when it came out and I honestly like this more and more every time I think about it . While I do enjoy the Lacey games, I feel like this is better because it doesn't need to resort to cheap and easy scares like a lot of digital horror does.
There aren't any scary faces, loud noises, or gore. No, the situation is already scary mainly because of how realistic and common it is. A young girl is pressured and groomed by an older guy into doing things she doesn't want to so he can use her as his play thing is a very real situation that's horrifying on its own. Having the guy turn into a monster and then scream into the screen would just detract from the issue at hand.
My hat is off to you for handling this subject with such respect and nuance! Bravo!

I love how the background becomes realistic at the end once she closes the bedroom door. And i also overall love the idea of the video! It's so gross how some ppl find seniors and freshman dating normal, and you portrayed how creepy it actually is super well :)
I liked this a lot, it looks so old and something I would watch when I was younger, I like how it portrays her feeling uncomfortable with what is happening in the park and party scenes, idk if anyone noticed Amy’s expression when it was talking about the party was a good detail to portray she didn’t feel comfy whatsoever, I like the dark turn it took as well, it was very interesting to show a story of assault I’m glad this animation/game was made, it’s always good to raise awareness ^^

I don’t really see many people commenting on this, but during the last part, the boy puts his hand on Amy’s thigh, possibly showing a toxic relationship between Amy and the boy before Amy slaps him. It also seems like the boy is using Amy for popularity, kissing her while people are watching.

This is very relatable for me. I am a freshman and at the beginning of the year I dated a senior. I thought it was okay but he kept making me uncomfortable and asking weird things. I broke up and ghosted him after he tried taking off my clothes. I think that this game shows an important topic that needs to be addressed. The art is also great!

EDIT: unsure if this was intentional but: the end scene where Amy went through that drawn door, shut it behind & it switched to a more realistic door? that i think adds to how real this situation can be if that makes sense.

I just realized. The more the video went on. In all the different levels. The girl slowly loses the spark in here eye as she realizes that shes being abused and Sexually assaulted. Realizing how bad the situation is and finally standing up for herself at the end. Having enough of it. I also want to note somthing. Abusice relationships can somtimes not start out abusive. Some get abusive over time. And sexual assulters dont have a specific face, or behaviour. Some victmis can even have experienced SA with a close friend or family member. Groomers and manipulators control and somtimes do things difffrent ways. And most of the time. It can be hard to identity them. Usually. When someone is being SA'ed. They dont speak up. And they tolerate it. Somtimes they only speak up when other encourage them. Or they know their in a safe area to do so. And its scary to know that somtimes people tolarate this for YEARS. And it bring relief to see this girl stand up for herself without hesitation. Its EXTREMELY important to stand up for yourself and others. And this girl had had ENOUGH. and even if this is an animation. I am SO. SO SO SO PROUD OF THIS GIRL. It takes tons of guts to do these types of thing's. And she stood up. And showed her ground. I thank you for making this wonderful peice of art and spreading awareness about these types of thingys. And just a reminder everybody. Anyone. Can be sexually assulted. So matter what. Saw someone talk about this and i gotta say this was a great digital horror video just a perfect twist that doesn't go too far
At 1:32 you can see amy smiling at the boy, but then her expression falters and she realises what she got herself into. It's really quick but it just shows how many girls are being pressured into stuff they don't want to do because it's 'cool' and when they realize what they're doing is wrong it's too late
