Sounds pretty nice too, muscular rumble with a few pops/crackles. Might not be as loud as pre-facelift but it's still miles better than any of the 6 cylinder competitors 🔥

For an estate the C63s for sure (my wife’s car / family car). For my car, Alfa QV. The most fun to drive.

My dad bought this, now he is driving 180 mph with my mother, me, 2 sisters, and my 110lbs german shepherd, plus our skies on the rooftop on the autobahn and a caravan :)

W206 C63 gets a 4-cylinder hybrid powertrain... V8 C63's, you will be missed.
the shifts in the pre face-lift on the 2018 models was very fast on the 7 speed. when first released on the 2015 model yeah there were lag issues but if you drove a 2018 pre face-lift you wouldn't see shift issues.

The c63s is just so tough, people know what it means when seen on the road.
I‘ve tried the RS6 and the C63 S. My choice would be the C63 S. Pros for the RS6: more power, 4WD, better design (in my opinion) and less consumption. But the point is, that the C63 S is much more of a sportscar than the RS6. You feel the power, it’s stiff and the feedback for the driver is much better than in the RS6.
When it comes to comfort , the RS6 is actually more comfortable than the C63 , and it also has the luxury features wich the C63s doesn’t since it‘s a lower class car.
C Class is competing with Audi A4 and BMW 3 Series.
E Class is competing with Audi A6 and BMW 5 Series.
Razer Fan Boy That’s right, but even the lower class of the C63 delivers more emotion and sportscar-feelings than the RS6. I don’t say that the RS6 is a bad car, of course it is not, but it’s not the sportscar a lot of people think it is. As powerful and as good as it’s looking, Audi wants it to be this comfortable and it may fit a lot of people but Mercedes does a better job and delivers both in one car: comfort and puristic driving experience by the press of a button and they make it possible in the C63 and the E63. As mentioned: even the lower class C63S with almost 100 hp less than the RS6 is way more fun to drive. The design award goes to Audi though.

nope, the 2021 or 2022 C63S comes with a i4 Turbocharged hybrid with 310kW, so same power as the A45 S, GLA45 S and CLA45 S. I love this engine, but replacing a Twin Turbo V8 with an i4....

Max just a heads up when there’s 20” in rear and 19” upfront it’s called a staggered setup- not stacked. Great review nonetheless, enjoyed it thoroughly and love your work

I do so much love for BMW's but only c63s got V8 biturbo which is totaly crazy for daili family car... M3 just doesnt sounds that good, i dont even speak about audi because its far away of the battle, but yes, C63S estate its the car which i wish to get to my family live :) well done Max!

That's sad news about the next gen C63 being a 6 cylinder model, but I guess that's emissions regulations for you. At least the E class and up will get V8s in the form of Hybrids so that's good, plus it could mean that AMG will make an E63S Coupe.

Even a friend who has a E63s 4matic+ tuned to 750bhp says it has a nice sound and rides sportish. he even thinks for 476 it pulls insanely well. i will always ask for careful inspections so it survives as long as it can. I CANNOT imagine myself driving ANY other car. there is nothing better for me.@@finn4aviation320

Next gen C63 will continue with the V8, its already been confirmed. Whether or not it will have hybrid assist remains to be seen.
Will probably just have eq boost technology like the cls53

To imagine this V8 was replaced by a hybrid-turbo 4 cylinder engine with a hybrid system....sigh.

Take your time, c63 is a scary car in not perfect road conditions. Start with something less powerful and get some experience. Also better for insurance premiums, no insurance will cover it when u just got a license.
This is way better than a RS6
Tbat 9G tronic MCT is incredible, feels nearly as fast as the DCT in the AMG GT. So much better than the old laggy 7 speed MCT.
