Yup. I feel like smash ultimate is in quite a healthy state in terms of balance due to the character variety you see in tournaments. Watching Evo 2023, grand finals in 6 of the 8 games that were part of the event were mirror matches of the same character or team. Insanely stale compared to the crazy variety I'm seeing from smash ultimate lately.
