Very well orchestrated by Indian speaker embracing Afghanistan's all regional neighbours , Iran not the least to be ignored. But it's not logical nor fair to bring an alien sociopolitical culture and impose it from outside on another civilisation in name of democracy . The Western imposed parliament democracy is bound to fail miserably in Afghanistan . This system is too corrupt and vulnerable to extraneous influence and manipulation. An army equiped by foreigners with highly sophisticated equipment will always be captive to its extraneous dependency and will never be sovereign and collapse in times of test. As for Pak let's both work for peace and stability in Afghanistan the people have had enough over two centuries . Their misery and destitution should move us in name of fellow feeling and historical links . Indian Military Veterans .
Najam Sethi as always... been outstanding..when he talks it sounds like someone story telling with facts from history that has immense depth and logic..I just enjoy him speaking..what a good orator!...

Listening to Mr. Sethi, I honestly believe that this is the best way any Pakistani on the international media stage has raised concern of Pakistan authorities in handling Pakistani, Afghan talibans and in the process he also accepted that Pakistan has initially directed those Afghan talibanies towards India which now they realised was bad policy and now back firing in form of afghan and Pakistan taliban terrorism.

In this panel the Indian lady and Najam Sethi were conveyor of their govts. messages. Especially those who follow Najam know that he has far more depth than he displayed here. Reminds me of 'Gladiator' where Maximus was stabbed near his heart before being sent to the fight. Mr Saleh on the other hand had a clear line of sight and fired bulls eye with each of his shots.

Amrullah is a smart SOB. Very calculated and concise. Im majorly impressed on how he comes across and is a great asset to the nation of Afghanistan. He seems so much smarter than Karzai and certainly can bring Afghanistan to a middle income nation in one generation if he takes the reigns. I don't know why India couldn't have sent a more voluble and assertive spokesperson. I am sure I could have done better than this lady. Amrullah Saleh stands out. Its probably an inconsequential conference....but we need to have better speakers.
A simple solution to our problems are , we want our lost territory which is pakhtunistan and that region rightfully and legally belongs to Afghansitan.. and secondly tajiks have to seek for themseves a place where they feel comfortable .Certainly afghanistan would not facilitate and tolerate these mischief groups for one seconds

Pak establishment is like a horse out of control. they sacked civilian govts in the past and can still do it.Pakistanis dnt love them.its slow process.can take many years to control it..but if you are angry abuse establishment not our country or people.Afghans must stop playing in the hands of India or USA. develop friendship with your neighbour with who your future is interlinked.
The western forces should make Afghan national army enough stronger to combat Taliban to have them weaker enough not to disturb afghan government. The west and the wealthy countries should give financial support to Afghanistan to run the government and help Afghanistan to make some economic structure for the country to sustain by itself. They should help in the development of agriculture and to develop industry. If the Afghan youth especially in southern Pashtun areas are provided with jobs, they will not become a fuel for the terrorism and fighting and so the Taliban may vanish. The Afghan government should accept durand line as an International border to make their threat from Pakistan less to disturb and intervene in Afghan politics. I'm a Pashtun Pakistani and I love Pakistan and Afghanistan both. I believe that Pashtun should live in the separate countries of Afghanistan and Pakistan. We Pashtuns in Pakistan strongly believe that we should be a part of Pakistan and not to be a part of Afghanistan, because we muslims don't believe in divisions among muslims on ethnic and language basis, we in Pakistan are all muslims and we are united in the name of islam and we muslims don't believe in differences among muslims on the base of language and race.
Problem is, the afghan national army is run by the criminals and warlords that cause afghans untold sufferings before they were ousted by Taliban. That's why foreign troops is in Afghanistan for the last 13 years. Afghans peoples hate the current western backed government. Without foreign troops to back it up, it would've collapse within days.

Amrullah Saleh always talks about Taliban Sanctuaries in Pakistan. What about TTP sanctuaries in Afghanistan? Afghan Govt conspires with India to destablize Pakistan. ISI is doing a good job supporting the Taliban.
