Hard to take this seriously after the comment about Isak not living up to the hype. Any Newcastle fan would tell you how great he was. 10 goals and the assist of the season after missing 4 months through injury. Come on. Otherwise a decent review.
He also included ASM in the bracket of "Physical Specimen" "Bravery" "Tireless Work Rate" "Intelligent Positioning" which is Just bullshit, the guy was lazy, tactically inept and offered little to nothing in the press or defensively, all part of the reason he's been sold.
Thank you for the comment! Yeah, your point about Isak is more than valid, and he's definitely a player I'll look into further and make a video about at some point! I do believe he will be a valuable asset to Newcastle this season.
Similar to Anfield, that's inaccurate and insulting, Trippier was the first transfer, we do use inverted wingers hence why Miggy plays on the right wing. Isak has lived up to his price tag.
Great video mate, good tactical grasp of our style under Howe. The only critiques I'd make are. Isak more than lived up to the hype of a club record transfer. He missed half a season through injury and his debut season still yielded many goals and breathtaking skills and assists to show he can do the goods in the PL. A full preseason and good bill of health and he could easily hit 20+ goals IMO. I also resent the Anfield comparison lol. Anfield is one of the biggest myths in football. Yes, the reputation is intimidating but LFC fans are tourists and casuals who sing a song and then go quiet until they score a goal or secure a win. That being said, they are at least better than Everton fans who are Merseyside Mackems 😂
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it and appreciate the feedback! Your point on Isak is more than fair and really do believe this season he'll be great. And didn't mean any offence on the Anfield comparison, it was meant as a compliment on how good Newcastle home record was last season especially in terms of goals conceded and wins but i should have been more clear 😊
Your tactical analysis is great and has a lot of insight but I think you have been fed a slight false narrative or at least bought into the one portrayed on twitter! “An extortionate amount of money” is false, we haven’t spent Chelsea money or really even more than the old school big six we even spent less than Nottingham Forest as an example last season! If memory serves we also spent about as much as West Ham too so I’m not sure where the extortion is? Isak lived up to his price tag considering half the season he was injured and so couldn’t exactly be on field! I enjoyed the video but having the record be straight is important! 5/6 of the first team for most of last season were bought pre Howe (Isak was in and out) so it’s hardly like he’s simply bought the league! Would be good to do a video showing how Howe has improved the players who were there before him and turned the likes of Longstaff, Schar and so on into top 4 players instead of just glossing over Joelinton and Willock! I hope you take my feedback as it is which is constructive and again enjoyed the tactical analysis!
Thank you for taking the time to comment and i really appreciate your feedback! Your comment on Isak is completely fair and i do believe he'll have a great season in 23/24. And the amount spent was based on what transfermarkt.com showed from the 21/22 - 22/23 season, with Newcastle 4th in terms of money spent on transfers behind Chelsea, Arsenal, and Manchester United, having spent more since the takeover in comparison to previous years but certainly spending it much more wisely! Really like the idea of a video on how Howe has improved players so will explore that :)

Just that run against Everton is all you need to see to know what a brilliant player he is. It looked like someone was playing FIFA.
