You are teaching me that I spent far too much time effort and money on a project that will never be worth what I have put into it… 9 years into a project and it’s not done yet… Now I have a crippled foot but when I get back to it I’m just going to work at getting it back together and getting it back on the road, you have taught me that it doesn’t have to be 100%perfect, it just needs to look good and run right. Thank you…
Honestly Lee, you built this car from scratch with a van engine and scrap parts! Amazing. Anyone of us would be thrilled to have a car like this! I imagine you’ll stumble upon a parts car to replace all the missing items.
Good morning from Cape Cod ⛵ it's good that you explain what products you are using and why. The color look so awesome on that Camaro. Keep up the great work Lee 👍✌️🇺🇲
I was a paint rep for dupont and dupont owns Nason I use to love the dupont centari acrylic enamel the 99a was the blackest black on the market back in the 80s me and my brother sprayed alot of it in the shop we worked at for right at 30 years the Nason singal stage black is really nice paint I think when I repaint my 88 monte carlo SS I'm going to put Nason signal stage on it and sand and polish it I love a slick black signal stage paint job it looks so much blaker then base coat clear coat black when polished right
Everyone has a comment , some are good , some people just like to hear themselves talk , some people like me just appreciate you doing your thing and appreciating the work invested into that project . When you’re satisfied , I’m satisfied ! Not many people can take a car like that and have it turn out this nice . God Bless you and Nikki the wonder dog !!!!!!!!!!
The channel deserves more subscribers, just on your paint abilities alone. I know you sort of lost interest in this one, but you seen the job through. There's definitely one point worth making and that is if you say your going to do something you do it. Good job.👍
Well done Lee, really enjoyed this one, had to let my camaro go due to failing health, so watching you ressurect that old beauty really touched me. God bless you 🙏🏻
I'm not trying to be a know it all but if you just try spaying at a lower psi your paint will way better. Just try low 20s to mid 20s psi on scrap car panels you have laying around. Other then that love the channel
It's a $20 dollar Harbor Freight gun they spray better at higher pressure around 40. If you go 20's with them orange peel city! Expensive gun yes 30psi but not those guns.😉✌
Well what I can see you right now you just got done painting it looks pretty shiny looks like it might match some of that interior little bit like you said look at the jams see what it's going to look like you might have to take the door jambs from the looks of it the color looks like it matches that interior stuff that you had I said my last comment if get some red dye pretty much the same colors that interior stuff that take both seats out and put that dye in your spray gun spray them seats both of them same color without using your seat covers just keep putting the dye on till it gets the color the interior is if it don't work you haven't really lost anything if you can get black covers or red covers try that dye out dingo seat covers and see if you can get it to pop up the match the carpet stuff indoor panels you could even spray paint the door panels red if you get a close match to it on the seats just thought I'd put that out there maybe you might want to take a chance little red dye don't cost that much just make sure it's cloth die you can get that stuff at Walmart anybody that sells sewing stuff her clothing material will have dyes of all colors and kinds
Man brother that came out I think 👍🏻 that humility is bad for you know what you're doing look fuck sixx 🤘🏻💯 keep the z wheels gun metal gray and paint SS strips gin metal you would haveno problem sale this ONE HUGGS TO NIKKI ✌🏻💓👍🏻🏁 OLD CHEVY NEVER DIE THEY GET MORE EXPENSIVE ✌🏻
Use a old school siphon gun. With a 1.8 tip. Sprayed many of single stage metallics with that style gun and tip all came out beautiful. Just make sure you use the right activator for your Weather.
It's plenty good enough! It has fought you every step and it's time to move on! This one maybe consider selling while it's running good. You have got much better cars in your collection.

It’s not the tools, fancy spray booth, multiple lifts, it’s the experience that Lee has with body and paint. The Camaro is looking good, nice work.
Thanks

Wet sand it in a week or so. Buy some extra slow activator, and clearcoat that puppy.

I need some tips on spraying single stage METALLIC paint i suck at it lol
Use a old school siphon gun. With a 1.8 tip. Sprayed many of single stage metallics with that style gun and tip all came out beautiful. Just make sure you use the right activator for your Weather.
JB weld is epoxy , bondo is polyester, are you concerned with bubbling?
BTW you know, I do not, I have had failures when I tried it.
It's ok on plastic. 😉✌
Think I’d blow some candy over the top. Why rush the job. Bling it up a little. Then decals. Then clear coat. One more week.
" Did the body work, was more than expected", was said by everyone who ever ground down a rust hole.
Where do I buy the paint from? My local paint supplier? It’s single stage right? I tried listening to where to buy it from.
Great work how can I contact for body and paint work
Thanks but I don't do customer work
Could you teach me or show me if I came to you
It's plenty good enough! It has fought you every step and it's time to move on! This one maybe consider selling while it's running good. You have got much better cars in your collection.
