I had this game for the Commodore 64 when I was a kid and was one of the first games I ever beat. It seems though the Amiga version had the slightly better graphics. Also the 64 version had a longer opening with the credits presented more cinematic in look with a smiley face logo on the upper left of the screen.
@sailoramaya Yes it does - the actual Amiga full ending lets you marry Ma's daughters if you get over $20,000. That goal is made much easier if you keep all your fingers *cough*lrn2slappinggame*cough*, and also if you charge ahead on the game board until you reach the SAFE squares, which are actually money squares that give a ridiculous amount of cash.
What;s really interesting about this version is the fact that it was developed by Incredible Technologies, the same company that would later do the Golden Tee Golf games and the absolutely terrible Time Killers and Bloodstorm.
The Amiga version has smoother animation and better color then the IIgs version but the IIgs version had better sounds. either way be very very fun game to play.
If you get over $20,000, then the stooges get married to the three young ladies at the orphanage. I remember doing a trick in the fighting sequences, I think it's a pull back and to the left when facing Curly, and you can get an endless loop of pulling his ear - it would slow your choices down SOOO much. I could never get the controls down for Waiters, though. What kind of controller did you use? I think maybe my copy is busted - Waiters never responded.
Ok. I was able to pull the trick and got the $20,000 plus needed to marry the women at the orphanage. Aldo for the waiter thing, if you wanted Moe to throw pie it was up joystick plus fire. For Curly it was left plus fire. For Larry it was down plus fire. And for ducking it was the same joystick controls minus the fire button.
There aint much to the marrying the daughters ending. Just a screenshot of moe larry curly standing in tuxedos and their brides sitting on chairs in front of them. and yes u need 20,000 smackers.
It also appear in the gameboy advance version too, but I got $17,000 so my guess is that you need $15,000 to get that ending. Anyway, that game is a classic. Just like the three stooges themselves. Nyuk! Nyuk! Nyuk! Nyuk!

3:08 - I just love the "Pop goes the weasel" from The Three Stooges!
Moe: Hey porcupine, get your fiddle. Play that weasel tune and Curley can't lose!
@@kinger982Play that weasel tune again! 4:29
Wow, I didn't know they remastered this game! Nice new graphics. Strange music though. Also, LMAO at that lady getting hit with all those pies!
I had the NES version of this game. It was awesome!
Boy, I wish making money was THAT easy in real life.
It is for the low cost of fighting a champion boxer, consistently getting your fingers caught in mouse traps, and having safes fall on your head

it will look a lot better if they make a new 3 stooges video game for the PS2 and PS3!
this game inspired the movie from 2012!
It's available on the Gameboy Advance which is the next best thing! :)
I have seen it, 'cause I've gotten so far. and yes, it was on the Amiga where I got that result.
roflcopters, this is one of the first games i played when I had an amiga, in my youthful days. awesome, but hard.
You've ever watched Lethal Weapon 3? 'Cause this game makes a cameo on Lorna Cole's computer, in the scene where Riggs and Cole get real close.
Nyuk nyuk nyuk nyuk nyuk nyuk........(conk!) Oh!

@eggs2121
Seemed to have the better game play too. It looks like it was much easier due to smoother gameplay and better level layouts.
I don't think "Defender of the Crown" is intended to be a kid's game, Larry. :P

In the c64 version you can also have the stooges marry the owner's daughters if you fix it up.

Wow is this video old.
If you earn over 20.000 $ the Stooges even can marry the 3 beautiful daugthers!
maybe it's a type of emulator that can be played.
How can I upload videos passing the limit of 10 mins?
How much money do you need for that?
this is the ps1 or pc ver?
I don't know about all of you, but I often freeze my cash in giant blocks of ice and have it dangling over my door!
it will look like even better kids game if they make the 3 stooges video game for PS2, PS3, Xbox 360 with much better graphics!
@cubex55 Sarcasm ftw lol
Je ne connaissais pas ce jeu et je n'aime pas beaucoup mais avis personnelle.

The best ending is actually over $20,000.
