I always used to wish the CliffHanger would get stuck when I would watch this with my mother back in the day!!!😂😂😂
A corn popper costing $56 in Cliffhangers in 1982 was vert expensive. Imagine what it would cost now in 2021!
$155.18
$156 as Bob said, round up or down no cents, lol
If rooting against the contestant in Cliff Hangers is wrong, I don't want to be right. :P
Yup. The only game where the person losing is more fun than the person winning.
You root against them if (usually) the first or second guess of an item is so far away from the actual price.
it's like rooting for the strikes in Three Strikes. I love when they get 3 strikes.
The only game where it's OK to root against the contestants.
'I've already won, Bob... the true prize is that sweet, sweet yodeling!'
This was 40 years ago, and bob Barker is still alive
39 1/2 years to be exact, Charlie, as of September 27, 1982.
Sadly, as of today, that is no longer the case.
That comment didn't age well.....
$56?! That's $155 in 2021!
That floored me as well, I paid $25 for an air popper with its own bowl in 2007.
I guessed $50, I was pretty close
Cliffhangers has always been my favorite game
4:26 -- Eh, we shoulda gone to Plinko like Cleveland.
Ah ha ha ha, ahahaha, ah ha ha ha ha-aww.
My favorite pricing game
Mine too.
Forget about Drew Carey's version! This is the TRUE Price is Right!!
Amen.
MAKE BOB COME BACK

Exactly yes.
Nothing better than the original version.
HEY YODELY GUY PUT THE BRAKES ON!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
My point exactly.
2:53: Bob Barker thinking: "Are You Crazy?"
There Goes Fritz!
Just had to say it, didn't you?
That was Janice's husband, dummy.
@@foxmccloud7055 THAT WAS A QUOTE DUMMY
To think there was a time you couldn't win by answering $25/$35/$45
$9.50?
My grandmother watched this religiously and could figure out all the prices. If you'll excuse me, I have to go flip her right side up in her grave after watching this...
I've been kind of wondering this recently, but when you think about it, it seems so natural. Has "Cliffhangers" ever been played for a trip to Switzerland?
That was a hard one - 56$ !
Thanks mama happy birthday auntie happy birthday love you mama happy birthday auntie happy birthday love you mama happy birthday auntie happy birthday love you mama happy birthday auntie
My favorite the cliff hanger
Love the 1st mountain climber playings did they change to the 2nd one in season 18 or 19
I prefer to say the mountain climber like Bob Barker and Tom Kennedy called it.
4:26 Peter Griffin: STOP!
4:27 *crash* Maybe we should of gone to plinko
4:16 Ok stop here,
4:20 There’s no way that microwave cost more then 300 bucks
4:22 Stop here don’t listen to her cause you don’t know how much an microwave cost!
4:12 So as long that he does not fall over the cliff she wins.
.......$56 for a popcorn, popper and 1982?! That was like $1,000 back then😂
They brought out the train for luggage?😂😂
Yep 👍🏻, on the September 27, 1982, episode of THE PRICE IS RIGHT 👉🏻, of course.
I don't think I ever saw the train being used for prizes in pricing games before, it was used mainly for the Train Depot Showcases and IUFB's.
It's wasn't rare, they did that every now & again but SPECIFICALLY for Trips: having the TPiR Train bring in a prize, which was always luggage (first time this was done was the 6-20-1980 show, Vanna White was a contestant)
From the September 27, 1982, episode of _The Price Is Right 👉🏻._
NoOoOOoOOo SAVE HIM!!!!
2:29 That's the hair dryer I had ...when I had hair🙄
$56 for the corn popper?!
Thanks for the videos but why put a spoiler in the title?
4:26 Bye!
2:37 $56?! Only $40 in 2022. She would have won!
I'd guessed $30 for the hairdryer and the air popper (I can't believe the latter was $56?!) each. Now the $15 can of paint would probably be $35, which is insane, too.
Over the edge big time
On the September 27, 1982, episode of THE PRICE IS RIGHT 👉🏻, of course, Jeffery.
Jughead Falls Veronica Laughs
Marathon Watching 9/7/22 Root Root for the Lady.... 🙄 🙄 😆
Dude you can see here literally creating sweat. Lol
56?!?!!?
Bob barker in 1982: you can’t buy anything for 10$ anymore
Me in 2023 with the inflation crisis: …
I can't watch this enuf lol
Oh, no! She could have won!
How's pricing kitchen countertop appliances going for you
That popper was some BS
