Thanks for the tag along on this maintenance trip Zach. Did I miss your scripture posting this video? Stepped out of the room for a quick sec so... Always look forward to them for sure.
As far as video topics, virtually anything you get into as a day-to-day business/farming task is interesting to me. Tending the mules, goat husbandry, (know nothing about their needs). Sharpening/maintaining/porting saws, another greenhouse visit, gardening, before and after of the flower beds around you all's place, soil amendments that you may use too. Also, would love to see or hear an update on Mr. Summers if he'd be up to it. If possible, please keep us in mind as you attend the plow gathering this weekend.
Keep your eyes peeled for arrowheads as you turn the ground! Always an amazing thing to find when you do. God bless you and the family. dt

Thank you for the suggestions Mr. Dale! That really helped. I don’t believe I put a scripture in this video. I was kind of in a hurry, editing it. Anyway, thank you so much for always watching. I really appreciate it! Take care and come again. God bless.

Thanks for sharing the video Zach. Always something to keep up with on your machinery. I figured you had a 366 in Red but it has a 427. They are both good engines and they will pull. Thanks for sharing tips on working on the truck and the skid steer. I try to do a lot of my own work but I'm limited on big things as I don't have a shop big enough right now for major fixs on my farm machinery. Hopefully you can get your logs out soon. February is short but it is not my favorite month for sure.

Yes, sir, it is always bad this time of year trying to get anything done outside. Cold, wet and dreary. Seems like! Anyway, thank you for being here and also commenting. I surely appreciate it. Take care my friend and come again. God bless

Well being able to fix the problems without having a service call fee tacked on is always good. I rebuilt my skid steer in the fall. A new coupler between the pump and motor, rebuilt the radiator and replaced a bunch of dry rotted hoses. I hate to think what it would have cost had I taken it into the dealership.

Oh, yes, sir, you are right! I could not afford to do that. I would be broke overnight. I’m glad you enjoyed the video my friend and thanks for watching as always. Take care and do come again. God bless.

200* is fine as long as there's coolant in the engine, any cat engines I've been owned or been around run up around that temp. The problem could come if for some reason it dumped the coolant out too quick when it was that hot.

There is most certainly one thing you will never have do to a mule, change their thermostat or fix a power steering leak. I don't own nor know much about skid steers however, I had to do rad work on my Chrysler V6 back last summer. After I buttoned it up, I plugged in my scan tool and took it for a spin. My engine temp was running from 195 to 205 depending on how hard I pushed it. My cooling fans are electric. They did not cycle on until 200 degrees and cycled off at 197 which led me to think this is the temp the engineers set it to run at. The old girl is still running great after 240,000 miles so the 200 degrees hasn't hurt it. I'd be willing to bet that Red runs in the plus 200 degrees range as well.

That is the truth, my friend! Although I do have to do dental work and also trimming their feet. So everything gets a little maintenance every once in a while. So far, it has been pretty minimal with my equipment. I try to keep stuff in good shape! Believe it or not… Red runs pretty cool. Even over in the summertime. It has a really big radiator. I would say around 180° anyway, I’m glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching. Take care and come again. God bless

Hi Zach, Just a freindly reminder. On skid steer it ate one of your sockets(fell in the belly pan). You never did show getting the socket back, A month from now you'll need the socket and will be no where to be found. Ask me how I know this :) Hopefully no more wrench time on your equipment for a while.. Onward & upward. Barry
