Wow that's actually a really smart way of using it. I just tried the Scorcher for the first time today. I was SO CONFUSED, because i assumed it would give me the artillery computer, and I didn't even bother to check the map haha. Thanks for the tutorial :D :D :D
I used to use smoke shells to range out my shots without the computer. Usually with the medium setting, but I got good at estimating even 16km shots. If you still do this a tip for getting the elevation perfect is that if you hold shift while adjusting with pg up/ pg down it goes a lot slower and you go by single increments.
Or if u want to stay in real cover, aka 5 km distance between a mountain, use a simulator (excel worksheet work very well) where u put distance, your elevation and target elevation, fire some shot to adjust the aim (mark the landing shot on map with elevation and charge for further use) and ez kills. Mark your spot so whne u rearm u can come back at the exact same point and reuse ur adjusting point

Imagin you are in the zone and everything around you blows up, your camera is shaking on every impact and you do not know when or where the next shell is landing... Its even better if you have a friend on a hill spotting areas with enemys for you and mark them
it can be fun when you have a few people doing it with you and you're all hitting the same area, you can really help the team and it's fun blowing the city up with huge artillery shells. You'll never make the money back if that's what you're asking. With a little practice and some good spots to fire from you can stay relatively safe and far away from enemy. I like to use it a few rearms then sell it when I get bored

Blood-Lord if you stay in the ao getting millions of $ is hard as hell. I already bought almost every weapon including scopes and still have more than 2 mio left. How ? Flying jets. The most profitable thing you can play in koth. You can easily get a 70 to 100k bonus if you are the top player.

Cluster shells are my favourite but you only get 2 in KOTH, they stamp a big footprint over the target area like cluster bombs..:)

It is more of a meme machine, you can do much more with other vehicles that cost the same or less.
