You’re missing the story. Her preparation for her career, her personal incident that happened which many women experience and her ability to use her gifts and personal life resources to become an exceptional person despite all the challenges. She’s an excellent representative of all of us American women.

Its because they don't actually go to space and no one has ever been. They're in a Zero Gravity/ Reduced- Gravity aircraft such as a Boeing 727, G-Force One. There's a lot of videos on this subject here on RUclips. They lie in our faces.

"Generational trauma". That's a thing. I am personally generationally traumatized by some of my predecessors starving in Ireland. They didn't get a free boat ride or plane ride to Merica. Merica didn't save them from the Chinese, the Ruskies, or ...nobody. They just starved. Also, I too am fat. I'm intelligent. I was raped. I won't speak just for Vietnamese women and Asian women, because Ithat smacks of discrimination against white women. I wanna go space! I remember when a NASA astronaut got in deep doo doo for carrying a roll of dimes into space, I guess a chunk of 30 pounds, a heft of 35 pounds, doesn't matter. Big Boy seats.

I like her but she ONLY have a BACHELOR degree. You are SUPPOSED to have a MASTER degree in STEM field to be a astronaut. I hope she not a case of affirmative action.
I understand her achievement would be nice for asian Americans but she doesn't appear to meet the qualification requirements for being a astronaut.
She has an astrophysics degree from Harvard and fought for 6 years against the current laws for sexual assault survivors! Those achievements are NOT easy! And if you have anyone in your life who has ever been a victim of sexual violence, the trauma is life long!
