Shen I found a fix for the lean back on tack off. remove rear track roller, access the spring in shock keep spring in keeper, place fuel line tubing over the spring and reassemble, no more back flips. Also cut out battery box and remove interior will give more room for bigger battery.
Hi I would not recommend doing that because it will make all the stress go on the rear roadwheel and suspension assembly because it will no longer have a suspension to absorb impacts and could cause the parts to break and fail a lot more easy than with a stock working suspension. He he This was a fun kit very good marked bags and manual, only had 2 left doors in one of my kits though lucky I purchased 2 kits, they are sending me the doors though so that's good. Have fun! O and the esc that you use that goes to the 390 motor needs to be put on backwards the polarity of the wires on the gearbox is on backwards plus from esc to gearbox minus wire.. don't know why they have it backwards!
Heh, I saw this video drop yesterday right after I pulled my double kits box in from the porch. Got 1 grey and 1 white. After a quick look at the parts, it seems the roof mounted light bar might be a different setup than the one on the RTR, but I haven't plugged it in yet. I got the RTR two days ago, but I already don't like the flashing/scanning lights effect of the roof bar. One of the kits is for my daughter, the other I'm not sure yet. I may have to do like you said and snag another one for parts while they're so cheap! Crazy cheap! I just thought maybe I'll convert one to a standard tank dual main drive. I'm also wanting some ESC's with a softer start up since the RTR version shows me they jump so easy. I'd like a little more slow in the start.
Hi yes the orange one has the funky light bar that fleshes the SG don't... Your in luck my next video I am putting up today is all on what esc's I found that I like and I have a soft start one on the list! stay tuned!
It's a fun build, very good instructions and all bags are labeled with #'s , I did not have any problems with gears yet.. Trick is to make it turn slower...see my steering mod video it makes it have less chance of breaking those smaller turning gears and makes it drive much better when using the stock electronics. I didn't realize you ordered two, they beat your boxes with a club. I wish I had hit that sale! Don't you just love their nasty filthy packing bags? I always wash my hands 3 or 4 times after handling those bags. I swear they get that plastic from a garbage dump. Its gross handling it. It would be worth ordering a kit just for parts even.
Yea I sprayed mine down with rubbing alcohol fist! It's a shame the kit was like 25 bucks when I got mine now it looks from me doing all my videos and making people buy these things they now jacked the price way up!!
@@ShenRC Thats what they do! I see this when RC Saylors does a feature on something. Its criminal. I like Nate and Abby but they are being controlled by Banggood. They can say no but really most of Banggoods stuff is not worth buying. Nate does not put the hammer down hard enough on the junk items he reviews. Banggood wouldn't send him anything if he did. He is expected to review anything they send him. I never want someone telling me what to do or what to say concerning a product. At least Nate does say not to buy this item or that item at the end. He tries to find the good in a crap product, I cannot do that. Junk is junk, period.
