It’s been lovely reminiscing watching your Hebridean tour whilst also putting new places on our list to visit. The site looked a great option on Skye. Good to see Cadac Joe living up to his name. Castles and lighthouses are always a must visit for us. Thank you for taking us with you. Best wishes H&M. x
As you know, there’s never enough time to explore and enjoy the islands. We were happy that we divided our time on the islands about right and although we had a mixed bag of weather in June, we were able to experience the beauty of the islands and the friendly people there 😃👍🏻🚐💙 Trev n Sue
@@debshamish6533 It was a perfect solution and I couldn’t resist a photo of us both suffering together whilst the girls were safe inside the van. 😂😂 Strangely, all the midgies disappeared after dark and we never saw them again. We frightened them away 😵 😂 Trev
Thank you, Cadac Joe is the master of the barbecue and we like to take him everywhere with us LOL We are off to Bunree next and we meet friends Diane and Steve ! :) Trev n Sue
Great video. We were on the Broadford site last year and had the same problem with the midges. The site is an excellent base for visiting Elgol and Loch Coruisk.
@@davidlindley485 It’s a well positioned site. We were surprised how busy the area has become since previous visits. We had limited time on this one to explore but still enjoyed our time there 😃🚐💙 Trev
Hi Trev and Sue another great video and wow what a difference in the weather on Skye it is a place I’ve always wanted to visit and it looks so very pretty there stunning scenery again and very different from the other islands well done Joe on a lovely meal (cadac Joe rides again 😂) the midges are a pest aren’t they! Luckily we missed them at our wedding looks like you have had a lovely site and looks spotlessly clean and well looked after Looks like you all had a lovely time All the best to you all Daniel
Amazingly the temperature increased by more than 10 degrees when we got to Skye. Whilst the whole of the UK was sweating on the hottest days with 30 degrees or more we were in the drizzle in Stornoway at 12 degrees. Just bad luck. The Isle of Skye has Rocky Mountains, green mountains, brown, grey and red rocks and time of day or weather makes the scenery change all the time. It’s magical. Really recommend you visit 👍🏻😃🚐💙 Trev n Sue
@@Victoria2cupsadayVlogger the castle looked really nice and I bet it was beautiful in its day. We really enjoyed looking around the gardens and it had a great view from the front lawn. Well worth a visit 😃👍🏻💙 Trev
Have really enjoyed your Hebridian tour, it's a place I should very much like to visit, perhaps one day? We've been to Skye the last two years whilst touring Scotland and didn't enjoy it as much this year which was a little disappointing. When leaving Skye we go over the bridge and like to have two nights at the tranquil Morvich site nestled between the mountains and the river croe adjacent. Thanks for sharing and already looking forward to the next upload!
Thanks for you lovely comments Tim 👍🏻 We wanted to stick to ferries instead of the bridge this time. We have lots more travels coming up this year, so hope they will interest you too 😃🚐💙 Trev n Sue
Gosh that trip seemed to be over so quickly. What a trip you had! We had two weeks twice up near Uig a few years back. Loved watching the ferries going in and out v Skye has become so crowded in the last few years Trev. Not sure if we will go back again. Joe sure does cook a mean Barbie. Yikes the Scottish Air Force have arrived as well 🤣🤣 Armadale looks a cool place and a great pre ferry stop. And then off to Mallaig and Morar. Love it there so much. Must get back there too!! Great vid guys and safe travels!
@@NBNatureTrailvan Yes it was soon over. The weather was disappointing but everything else was just perfect. The peace and quiet of the Hebrides was fabulous but we would avoid Stornoway next time. Didn’t feel welcome there. Skye is very busy now. The bridge has changed everything. But still has natural beauty that never changes 😃👍🏻🚐💙 Trev
Ha! Those midges up there are horrendous. As a kid living up in Peterhead it didn't seem to bother me, from what I can remember, even in that glorious summer of 1976 when we would walk around shirtless and in shorts, but I have visited since and I was eaten alive. Nice trip, by the way - I haven't been that far up the West coast.
Nice video nice to see were both of you have been when you were going on to the ferry. You got a van in front you been looking at the box on is back door. I am going to get someone to make us one. Any way take care both off you .
I think the box on the van in front was a home made one. It looked about the size of a toilet cassette which would make sense as an extra one would be useful for those wanting to be off grid for up to 5 days or so. I guess there’s a lot of uses for extra external storage 👍🏻 Thanks for watching 😃🚐 Trev

Looks as if they’ve widened the pitches since I was there last October. The pitch I was allocated was a tight squeeze width wise for my 6 m van conversion.
