In this tutorial, I just collect my experience and reveal helpful tips and tricks. So if you can think of something I have forgotten, please share your information in the comment section down below.
And don't forget: Trespassing private property is both illegal and dangerous. I usually seek permission these days.

Exciting stuff. Being a non-traveller isn't a problem - you've given me ideas to build in the yard....
These are great tips. I do enjoy your videos and your photos.
Some fantastic advice 🙏
Glad you think so!
Great tips, and your work at the end was amazing. Would love to get into this kind of photography/travel!
Thanks so much for the compliments. :)
Thanks a lot as always.
Really loved this dude
My goal for this year is to get back out with my camera again 🤘🏻
Glad you enjoyed it - yeah get out there! :-)
Many thanks for another inspiring video! PLEASE keep them coming!
Cheers Paul - thanks!
Another excellent video. Thanks
Pleasure!
Most enjoyable again.
Cheers. Glad you getting something from. I need to update the links below - I will do tomorrow.
At the risk of sounding like Jared Polin (god help us!),can I suggest shooting in RAW when you have the means to process such a format? Scenes such as these will have a wide dynamic range when there's harsh and strong natural light coming through a window and having the highlights and lowlights intact will help us to deal with them when they're not lost during the camera's conversion to JPEG.
I mean shooting in Raw should be a given by now? No?
@@JamesKerwin To start with I think that most people who go from a smartphone to proper digital camera will still shoot in JPEG until they learn about the benefits of shooting RAW.Or shoot simultaneous RAW and JPEG if you want to quickly send JPEGs to social media on-the-fly and then process the RAW properly later.
Good video - not as simple as walking in a room and start clicking!
No for sure. Like many genres - lots to it. :)
This was great! Would love a similar video on urbex videography, there's some impressive shots here.
I can do one. Great idea! Romania series next - but I will get recording. 👍
@@JamesKerwin Amazing, looking forward to it!
What about portraits shot in Urbex environment? Double challenging - would love to hear some tips on those if you've got em :-)
I actually do - as for 5 years I went around with a model ex girlfriend and also shot with Benro/Phottix for a period as well.
Give me a few weeks - I will see what I can do.
Urbex photography....??? WTF. Tell me more!
What do you suggest as a title?
@@JamesKerwin I was just joking, almost like I had never heard of UE :)
@@forgottenheritage2845 yeah aimed at total newbies of course! 😅
Hope you are well sir. 🙏
