And there you have it folks..., another great LR tutorial by Master Frank. Simple, Well Paced and easy to follow. So glad I discovered you and your site. Keep them coming.
Great tutorial. Nicely done without any of the distarcting music or sound effects, just good quality, clear and straight forward istructions. Im now going to look if youve done the photoshop tutorial.
This is brilliantly helpful Frank, thank you! You've really helped an old Birk(onian) out here mate cos I was struggling with one or two aspects of this dialogue. Cheers
ah.. my lucky day. The YT algorithm popped you up in my feed. Exporting from LR was exactly what I wanted to do properly and you explained it clearly and succinctly. Thank you.
Thank you very much for your presentation. Well done! It was a good, concise recap/refresher for me. I usually prepare images for the web but have a project involving preparing and sending photos out to a lab.
Thank you so much... Plain, simple, and to the point/concise instructions. You wouldn't believe how many University of RUclips videos I've watched looking for this subject matter in the simplest explanation. I've subscribed!!
Brilliant video as usual, personally I’d like to see how easy it is to resize the image for printing large, then how to actually send it to a print shop. Keep up the amazing work.
Just the right pace and 100% clear, thank you Frank. Yes your workflow for sending to print would be fantastic but you may have already uploaded about this. Just about to look :-))
You’re delivery is excellent. The speech tone , cadence, and content is easy to follow. I found this video to be very informative. Well done. Thank you
Same question as Phil Sheath below please:) I would love a full tutorial on resizing images for print. I have been using LR for about 5yrs and every time I watch one of your videos I learn something new, thank you!
I’m a new subscriber to your site and I have to say, like others, that the content and pitch of these tutorials is excellent. I’d welcome a session on printing; thanks in advance!
Great video!!!..Can you give me some insight on how to print from a macbook pro laptop? .. The photos printed are very flat, don't look anything like the photos on screen monitor..do I need to calibrate laptop? I believe my settings appear correct before printing in the photoshop dialogue setups. appreciate! Thanks Adam
Great video! One question though. If you are planning on printing the image many different sizes can you just leave the resize to fit unchecked so you don't have to keep re-sizing for every different print?
Frank, thanks for taking the time and effort for this video , I also hope you will do a follow up how too on the printing process. I am trying to have the printer do a large size print for me but surprise he only is familiar with PS and I only know LR so I am not sure how to email the largest file possible. I also shoot with a 16mp 4/3 camera so I am a little befuddled about what to do for cropping. Thanks again for the vid. New Sub John:).
Hello Frank, I love your videos and am learning a lot and I want to thank you with this message. Also I would like to see a video on how you print from Lightroom . . or Photoshop. Thanks again
Great Video, So you download from your memory card to lightroom then save as an A4 document for print. But what do you do if you want it for the web as well ,Do you have to save a second image to an external hard drive.
Great video. Just one thing. If you export for web. The resolution (PPI) doesn't mean anything. It doesn't change the file size at all. You can set it to 9000 or 1. Has no meaning for web. It is just information to the printer that says "lets print this image at X ppi". The "72 PPI for web" is a myth
Do you have a video tutorial teaching how to take the file from Lightroom or Photoshop to the printing company or your own printer? This is where I am stuck. Thanks - great tutorial about exporting to get ready to print.
My LR export window looks nothing like this. Nor does it look like any other tutorial I've watched. Do I have some super secret LR program that no one knows about? It makes it very hard to learn.
And there you have it folks..., another great LR tutorial by Master Frank. Simple, Well Paced and easy to follow. So glad I discovered you and your site. Keep them coming.
Thanks David. Keep watching and stay safe : )

Great tutorial. Nicely done without any of the distarcting music or sound effects, just good quality, clear and straight forward istructions. Im now going to look if youve done the photoshop tutorial.

thanks! Very clear; nice pacing. You explain why you did what you did. It really helped me!

Thanks so much. I was just not getting why nothing I exported was the right size.
Great video! One question though. If you are planning on printing the image many different sizes can you just leave the resize to fit unchecked so you don't have to keep re-sizing for every different print?
what an absolutely amazing video!! thank you!!

Hi Greta. Take a look here ruclips.net/video/VHBupD6eG70/видео.html
Great tutorial, is there a link for the print tutorial??
ohhhh I just seen your latest video is there form 3 days ago 😂 I shall go watch that now.
Thanks Frank, great presentation style. Does the file resizer / export tools in Photoshop do anything better than this LR version ?
Great video. What would the long edge dimension be to export for an A3 print?
Hi Tommy. For an A3 print the long edge would be 42cm.
Thank you for sharing. Please do show the PNG trick, D.
Leave it with me : )
Great Video, So you download from your memory card to lightroom then save as an A4 document for print. But what do you do if you want it for the web as well ,Do you have to save a second image to an external hard drive.
Hi. Thanks for watching. Yes you would need to export again and change the settings for the web : )
How would you prepare the photo to send to a third party print shop if you don’t print yourself?
Great video. Just one thing. If you export for web. The resolution (PPI) doesn't mean anything. It doesn't change the file size at all. You can set it to 9000 or 1. Has no meaning for web. It is just information to the printer that says "lets print this image at X ppi".

where is the print setting in lightroom mobile on ipad pro?
your screen is blurry..hard to see the numbers…do you have the number of pixels to export for print size? I know 2,400/2,500 for social media usually.
Great info but I'm sad I went to find the new video you talked about at the end but you didn't do one 😔 subbed though and good video
My LR export window looks nothing like this. Nor does it look like any other tutorial I've watched. Do I have some super secret LR program that no one knows about? It makes it very hard to learn.
Hi. Are you using Lightroom Classic or Lightroom CC ?
@@PerfectPhotoCompany CC
@@jonreeck8042 Ah ok. This tutorial covers Lightroom Classic which is different to CC. Search for Lightroom CC Export tutorials
@@PerfectPhotoCompany Thank you for the info.
The settings is purely for print, not for web.
