Of course if you have deluxe retaining soil then you also don't need the sprinklers in the first greenhouse at all. Also, it is possible to obtain it without unlocking Ginger Island if playing on the beach farm. If you have two house upgrades then it's possible to get some from supply crates. This of course won't cover all your crops, but it's still worth noting. Only real downside of the pseudo greenhouses is you can't use them for fruit trees or ancient fruit.
@@elwey88 Exactly how I said in my previous comment. If you upgrade your house twice, it's possible that the supply crates that wash up on the beach can give you deluxe retaining soil, since their loot table is determined by how many house upgrades you have.
of course the main drawback of this method is that any shed you're filling with garden pots is one less shed that you're filling with kegs to turn everything into wine
But you can produce more fruit to place in the kegs with this. I'm on my way on putting up a wine business but my problem is that I won't have enough fruits every cycle. This is the answer. Planning to place pineapple year round with this.

I find that the most reliable and cheapest way to get refined quartz is to save your rubbish and put it in the recycling machine. Broken glasses and broken CDs give refined quartz every time. Granted, only 1 at a time but you get so very many rubbish items giving this and, more importantly, they don't cost precious coal to produce.
@mGaud I usually fish a lot early game because it's a nice and self-sustaining money earner (as opposed to something like clay farming, which gives pretty decent cash but doesn't give any food items to keep energy topped up) so I always have a decent amount of trash. And if you feel you need more and have mainly moved on to other ways of earning money rather than fishing, respeccing for Trapper/Luremaster and putting down a ton of crab pots will give you quite a good amount of rubbish (and fish to sell) every day. Of course, you don't have to respec, but then each piece of rubbish will cost you at least 5 g from bait. You could argue that the 10k g needed to respec a hefty price for rubbish, but all the fish you catch become a nice passive income that will offset that cost soon enough. And if you're planning on switching back again you can always save them for after that and get the good price for them, for an extra delicious payday all at once on top of all the nice profit from the crops grown in the garden pots in the shed.

Around the 4 minute mark, you said that clay farming was a glitch, which I disagree with. It technically is the natural intended generation for clay and so it’s more of an easily abused mechanic if someone has a good enough understand of the clay generation in tilled spots anyway.
It is the how, randomness in this game is achieved. Normally you don't take real randomness, is real randomness is slow, and this is a result of that faster time of randomness
If you really want tons of cinder shards get an ostrich incubator and deconstructors and co-op duplicate them and deconstruct the ostrich incubators I got a stack to upgrade my stuff
About the new mysteries, today I saw a big rat and mouse creature that I haven't seen before in the game, I wonder if you can research about it and what kind of easteregg it is, I saw it at the bus stop on my way to town, just like how we got the magnifying glass item in winter the first year. As soon as it saw me it ran away and I chased after it but there was no sign of it.
It should, but why would you do that when you can use sprinklers? Seems like you'd be better off with Deluxe Fertilizer to improve crop quality, which should also last forever if used with crops that regrow. Retaining Soil is only for when you can't use sprinklers and don't want to waste time watering.
why not just have nuzzled Iridium sprinklers all over Ginger Island and plant your ancient fruits there instead? Just get a lot of Kegs for your wine production, it'll take a little bit more than one shedful of kegs

It's a great goto for multiseasonal growing for recipes or gifts without risking weeds eating your crops and/or sprinklers while you aren't watching the island farm. Multiple harvest crops are easiest and save you the most effort (and there are over a dozen to use pots for. Beans, Strawberry, Peppers, Coffee, Corn, Eggplant, Tomato, Hops, Blueberry, Cranberry, Grapes, Pineapple, Cactus, Tea plants), but you can do whatever else you want quickly by the time you have the tech for the potted shed greenhouse.

Honestly I get my refine courts from recycling broken CB's and and broken glasses with the recycler I usually have 300 of them before I realize just how many of them I'm cleaning out of my crab pots as for stone once I built just about everything it's not an issue why do run out of his clay
I hate Sheds for their major downsides of not being able to use Pots with sprinklers which is total bull. Deluxe Retaining Soil recipe is a vein cutting adventure to get and I suppose get rich in the early game or mid-game the latrest but not in the late game where I won't even use Deluxe Retaining Soil when I already have crazy patch of farmable territory on the Island by getting the necessary minimal amount of Golden Walnuts for it. In 1.6, just pick Standard Farm over the hype-trained Meadowland Farm which renders you completely blocked away from great income required for late game unlockables. Livestocks are a pain in early game and you rather want to invest Barns once you can have Ostriches, because Pigs are horrendously expensive and you rather want to use the same money to buy Starfruit Seeds instead to the point you can build all Joja project buildings and get to Ginger Farm as soon as humanly possible.
Concerned Ape is so concerned about the apes who made Harvest Town. You see... before these updates, Harvest Town fulfilled the features that are lacking in Stardew Valley and made it well with the power of a whole roster of Game Devs. It is a chinese replica but oh boy they made the game good (except for the convoluted UI). Some of the more recent features of SDV existed in Harvest Town first.
If you wanna save money and materials, build cabins instead of sheds...although cabins don't have as much space; I think they're prefabricated like shipping bins so you don't have to watch Robin build each one.

Fiber is so so easy to get and I never ever have to farm it. I just simply purchase a ton of stones from Robin and trade it to the trader in the dessert. Clay I guess is a harder for me because I need to do chores to get it, Which I'm not about it
At this stage of game i thaught ,i am #too #tired to harvest any crop more than on ginger island and one greenhouse then all another crop on the main land i use service of junimo hut and usually planting only multi harvest crop, for #safe #some of time for do #anotherthing. There's a bug with gardening pots and retaining soil in which harvesting a crop, that doesn't regrow, will remove the fertilizer.
I love that idea especially since it's more for a longer gameplay

Because using sprinklers uses up only a single tile, allowing you to then use other crop enhancers like Speed grow and Fertilizers

If you wanna save money and materials, build cabins instead of sheds...although cabins don't have as much space; I think they're prefabricated like shipping bins so you don't have to watch Robin build each one.
In case you didn't know, it is also possible to fully upgrade the cabins with cellars.

At this stage of game i thaught ,i am #too #tired to harvest any crop more than on ginger island and one greenhouse then all another crop on the main land i use service of junimo hut and usually planting only multi harvest crop, for #safe #some of time for do #anotherthing.
