Loved the presentation, and the watch as well! For me as field watch 36mm is a perfect size. The lume plots was so well explained as well. I have the 36mm Seiko (SRPJ81K1 ) field watch on a one piece NATO , and I have no regrets to chose it over the 40mm that I consider big for a field watch, even for one with larger wrists.
I have their D5 Arctic and Meridian. Both dive watches. The only issue I have is that both of them have a “loose” stem for the crown. When I unscrew the crown I always fear of breaking it. Watches are nice though, Miyota movements
I've been looking at these in 36mm and 40mm but I'm just not sure about the sizing, I have a 7" wrist I have the fear the 36 will be too small and the 40 will be too big🤯
I bought one of their quartz watches with the Ameriquartz movement,the only thing that worked was the seconds hand. I contacted them about the problem but they did not belive me and offered no help at all. The watch was nicely finished but the movement is crap,and so is their customer service.
Was that after the 30 day return period or 2 year warranty? I've sent back watches within 30 days for a full refund simply because seeing one of their dive watches in person wasn't my taste.
I'm a 6'2 guy, and I tend to lean toward our 36mm watches. We like to say if 36mm wasn't too small for generals, presidents, astronauts, people who have claimed Everest, and people who actually parachuted into Normandy, it's not too small for you. 🙂
It's a man's watch, unlike many manufactures today who make dinner plate clown watches, after all we do live in clown world now. When you wear a 44mm or 46mm watch it's like wearing a XXL shirt when you are size medium, just looks ridiculous. Not to mention uncomfortable.

Mark, if you were down to either Vaer field or Kuoe Old Smith 002, which would you favor?
I've been looking at these in 36mm and 40mm but I'm just not sure about the sizing, I have a 7" wrist I have the fear the 36 will be too small and the 40 will be too big🤯
I have a 6.75" wrist and I rotate between our 36mm and 40mm, though I'd say I lean to the 36mm more often than not.

Go with the 36mm. The 20mm lug width will help it wear a little larger.
I have a 6.5" wrist, and own both the S5 Quartz and A5 Automatic in 40mm. They wear great on my wrist, so I don't think I'd worry too much.

It's fine for tiny men like myself: 5'11" tall, 6.7" wrist.
