he was trained in firearms, I assume, that the day of the resonance cascade he was most likely going to go on a Xen expedition. All the HEV suit dudes who went on Xen expeditions carried firearms, and the rationale is obvious lol.
This game still looks good to me and if Valve remastered the series with the latest that 3d games have to offer I would pay top dollar for all of them.

Back then, this game was hard to start because it crashes all the time. So I import the maps into Episode Two. Alyx's voice seems tired here for some reason. But getting the game to work without needing tweak seems like a whole new game to me again.

The strongest type of headcrab zombie species is probably the Zombine. 2 shotgun hits to kill it? The poison headcrab zombie takes 4 but it’s attacks are weak, while the Zombine can make your health go to 0 just by the grenade.
The combine defeated the entire earth military in seven hours. This guy here beat the game in 1.5 hours. The UN should've hired an army of Gordon Freemans to fight the Seven Hour War.
Heads up if your playing at 35:24 if you crawl under the space and don’t wait for Alyx to jump down with you the game will literally completely remove Alyx and you can’t finish the game

Well we do know the resistance has teleporters and she definitely was in some kind of rebel hideout up in the arctic so they probably had one there
