  • New Trailer/Camper project. Converted an enclosed trailer, into a stealth camper.
We look at Installing 3 Harbor Freight Solar Panels and connecting them back up
    in the enclosed trailer.
Let me know if you like it.

Thanks for posting your progress while you built your conversion. I also posted a conversion project but not in a step by step process. I am about to install a 35 watt solar panel to charge my battery while parked and traveling. The problem I was having was where to mount the panel and your video has given me a few good ideas. Thanks.

I know this an old video but I just wanted to thank you for stopping me from making a huge mistake. I was going to bolt my panels to the roof. Thank you for stopping me from making the roof look like swiss cheese.

Great video but you need to work on the audio portion so that it is consistent throughout the video. I would recommend using either a channel of some sort or conduit for the exterior wiring to prevent so much deterioration due to environmental elements. This would make for a cleaner entry into the exterior of the trailer. Fisch tape is great but prior to doing the ceiling I would have removed the section of wall on the interior to add a raceway for the wiring and and a channel for any future needs such as adding additional solar panels.
    Great job.

We are considering doing this to our new cargo trailer. We are not setting it up to use as a camper for for our Property preservation company. We do everything from lawn care to board ups and lock changes. So our trailer has to be outfitted to assist us in any spur of the moment work we do. We may cut grass most of the time, but on occasion we have emergency assignments that could come at any time of day or weather condition. Having power readily accessible is crucial. Not always is toting a generator possible, but they are also very loud and sometimes our work depends on stealth and a quick in and out. (being realistic, as some parts of town are not a good place to be after dark)
We may be using a table saw one moment doing a board up and be changing locks in the next moment.
Because we are limited to creature comforts too, we are planning to create a porta john section too and having a restroom fan will be VERY important. And if momma is coming along she likes a few creature comforts too! Thanks for the video!

I love to see you do these videos because I also have a V-Nose trailer that I am thinking about converting. Hey, you ever thought about getting a Bluetooth microphone for your camera. You clip the mic on your shirt and the receiver end connects to your camera. The mic range has about 300 feet. Check out my video of my Bluetooth mic demo.
I think you can really take advantage of the Bluetooth mic technology.
