Explanation ❄ Easy way to change the latest Yamaha All New NMAX 2020 Aerox engine oil
To change engine oil and clean the oil filter
1. Turn on the engine, warm it up for a few minutes, then turn it off.
2. Place an oil pan under the engine to collect used oil.
3. Remove the engine oil filler cap and engine oil drain bolts A and B to drain the oil from the engine crankcase.
NOTICE: When removing the engine oil drain bolt B, the O-ring, compression spring and oil filter will come off. Be careful not to lose these parts.
4. Clean the engine oil filter with solvent, then check for damage and replace if necessary.
5. Install the engine oil filter, compression spring, new O-ring and engine oil drain bolt B.
TIP Make sure the O-ring is installed correctly.
6. Install the engine oil drain bolt A and new gasket, then tighten the two drain bolts to the specified torque.
Tightening torque:
Engine oil drain bolt A : 20 N•m (2.0 kgf•m, 15 lb•ft)
Engine oil drain bolt B:32 N•m (3.2 kgf•m, 24 lb•ft)
7. Refill the engine oil with the recommended amount, then install and tighten the oil filler cap.
TIP Be sure to wipe up any oil spills after the engine and exhaust system have cooled.

Make sure that no foreign objects enter the engine crankcase.
Oil quantity: 0.90 L (0.95 US qt, 0.79 Imp.qt)
8. Start the engine, then let it sit for a few minutes while checking for oil leaks. If oil leaks, immediately stop the engine and check the cause.
9. Stop the engine, then check the oil level and correct if necessary.
10. Reset the oil change tripmeter and oil change indicator “OIL”. (See page 7-7 for reset procedure.)
