- After a lull in the tropics this week, the signal for a storm in the western Caribbean is growing this weekend into next week, with steering patterns hinting that Florida may be impacted, though other locations need to monitor. This video breaks down the science behind the forecast and some possible scenarios.
Tuank you for your dedication and your forecasts.
Thank you from N Central Fla!
Thanks weatherman Josh
A huge thank you from Florida!
Hello Josh, thank you for your updates. I am in Sunrise Florida
Floridas soil moisture content is insanely high, an afternoon thunderstorm causes urban flooding and water ways spilling over roads this could be bad
Absolutely. It’s nuts how many floods are happening. Urban flooding too caused by storm water and sewer issues 🤢 hoping nothing comes our way!
Combine the high moisture content of the ground with hurricane force winds and all the trees will be knocked down -

You nailed it with Francine
Since I am in Garden City , SC. I can say tropical storm, at least it felt like it on the beach . Thanks for the update
Def not the area you want anything out there this time of year
What if it does not happen at all weather can be a game changer
Guess we'll know more in the coming days.
He is not the only weatherman saying this. It's a real possibility
Is there any development coming to NC also thank you for the update!
If there's a storm for Florida, NC could be impacted. It's going to stay wet in NC regardless as this trough remains stuck for at least another week.
Hurricane Central shows only 20% chance of formation
For now, but I expect that chance will get increased. Climate Prediction Center already has >60%: www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/products/precip/CWlink/ghaz/gth_full_TConly_ATL.png
This storm will not be on the eastern Coast of Florida!
Looks more like a tropical storm feature prediction as of right now on models for 26 Sep. Panama City FL area.
Obviously quite far out but would you be watching out for this system in the northeast?
A little too far out at this point. Just keep an eye on it for now.
Amen GOD is GREAT! Jesus is LORD!
How do you feel Tampa Fl will be affected??
It's too early to get specific, but it looks potentially quite rainy next week regardless of direct storm track.
He says it's going to Florida when it hasn't even formed yet because it's planned that way!
That is what the models are showing
South florida?
the gfs says it’s hitting Louisiana and Texas
The GFS changes states every model run. Florida again.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 you have no idea where this storm is going why do you say it's going into Florida my weather guy says the Big Bend of Florida you got your arrows pointing way in right into South Florida what's up with that who you trying to scare why are you trying to scare
@@joshsseverewx well going with your gut and not knowing for sure is not right. Don't say it if it's not so and you are not 100%
How u know its going to Florida when it have not formed yet .why is everyone saying its going to Florida
Upper air steering flow takes it between two ridges, which favors Florida at this time. Similar setup to Ian in 2022.
@@joshsseverewx.so models don't change.or this is going to stay the same.
@@roxannehudson7410 just a matter of probability. As of this moment, the most likely outcome is the western panhandle to the big bend. Certainly can change and will change day to day.
He's not saying it's a definite thing. He's simply saying that as of right now the steering currents and areas of potential development would suggest that Florida is in the line of fire (so be weather aware, just in case and keep your eyes on the weather).
@@stormmccree8238 ok the panhandle is still florida.so if it's gonna change .why even talk about it when the nhc is not saying anything.regardless look like Florida to me until I'm proven wrong.ask weather plus on his channel he said it I didn't
Aaaaaa mennnnnn
