Use a 1x6 or 1x7 piece of lumber
1. Cut 2 - 24 inch pieces
2. Cut 1 - 8 inch piece
3. Measure 2 inches from the end of each 24 in piece…
Router, chisel, Dremel a slot to attach the 8 inch board in between the two 24 inch pieces.
