I MUST SAY AS A PERSONAL FRIEND OF FRANKIE'S AND HAS BEEN AROUND FOR MANY A YEAR, I CLOSE MY EYES AND FLASH BACK TO SOOO MANY MEMORIES,..................... MY HAT TIPPED YO YOU.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He must have been a wonderful person. Thanks to him, many of us were Dj's when we playedthe music with Technics. All my respects to the father of House Music.
He was a beautiful person. If you met Frankie, he would greet you with a handshake, but he would say goodbye with a hug. He was a friend to many of us Chicago DJs. Just found this video and it took me way back.
My god this a good cover... they've really captured the feeling of the original and added a but more edge to it with it being a live rock band. Tha backing singers are bang on too.
@@treakditty it is indeed possible. I know Jaime Principle released Your Love in 1984 and some house historians believe that song to be the first, but On and On is also from 1984 as well so depending on the month that it was released...
Secondo me...questa cover di your love degli Horrors, è semplicemente fantastica,nn era semplice fare la cover di una hit mondiale..del panorama dance!!!Frankie ... sarà sicuramente applaudendo dall' olimpo dei cieli!!!!
I met Frankie Knuckles when he would come to Virgin records Chicago for imports when I worked there, I would show him weird shit I was into, he actually invited me to Europe with him I was super flattered but a straight kid. I've always been a fan of the Horrors (Sea within a Sea is my jam) This for me is fantastic
@@lewis72 Exactly, it uses a drum machine which sounds better, fuller and more powerful that's why every good record since the early 1980's has used a drum machine.

I didn't even know this cover existed until now. I don't like the singer's voice and the way he sings it, there no sensuality which is what gives the song more power, but the two girls were great and the instruments were perfect. Nothing can beat the original version though, the original singer's panting and singing are legendary!
A horror show. In the best way possible. A brilliant cover.
Perfect cover of this masterpiece

Tell Frankie to go to sleep and stop doing CAPS.... Stop crying and do something meaningful
incredible cover
I hope the Horrors play as well or even better 20 years from now. .
Hands down one of the best covers I've ever seen

Almost perfect cover. I didn't know what to expect before watching, then I watched. Now I'm happy.
It had to be a British band. They nailed it.
they did thank you sexy britts :)
A neo-shoegaze band covering an acid house song, and it works
it was not acid house. This song is considered to be the first House song ever.

Well done for not murdering a classic. Never heard of the band but I have to compliment them on a surprisingly good live version.
It's an excellent tribute to Frankie Knuckles, isn't it ?
@@lewis72Yeah, except for the singer...

the best Frankie cover to date
Jamie Principle not Frankie Knuckles
This is my favourite song and was expecting to hate it but it's very good. Someone needs to tell the crowd to liven up a bit though. 😂

Marco Perez I thought it. The guy is James Holden 😂
Shouldn't really work, but by god it does!

Awesome cover
Animal Collective
intro reminds me of my girls
Turn up his bass mr engineer
Candi Staton.....
This is what the Candi Staton track used for backing.
JAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJA. Frankie is "twisting" in his grave
Good Frankie Knuckles cover although bass guitaris is a double for a young Rik mayall
🥸😍
The singer has a bird beak nose like Tucan Sam.
I wouldn’t share my bugle with him that’s for sure

Really surprised it's actually quite good with the exception of the drums.
I think that the drums are excellent.
The original, I think, just uses synth.
