What is really real?
Socrates famously once said, “The unexamined life is not worth living.” It’s certainly true that life is more interesting when we take the time to stop and ponder intriguing ideas and questions.
The study of what is really real is called metaphysics. Metaphysics deals with the reality behind the reality that we see. The metaphysical explains (accounts for) the physical. As an analogy, think about your smartphone. What you see on the screen is not the whole story. There is advanced circuitry and a whole network behind that screen. That is like the metaphysical behind the physical.
According to recent research, in America, only about 5% of people hold a fully-consistent biblical worldview. If you are a Christian, this means that many of the people in your life are answering life’s most basic questions differently than you are. And that assumes that you yourself are operating out of a completely biblical worldview. So… are you? The way you think about metaphysics can help you answer that question.

Jesus said "Me and my father are one" And "When you see me you see the father" and John 1:1 and the Word (Jesus) was God (YHWH),. You cant twist a direct meaning... Jesus is the bodily image of God the invisible spirit who's bigger then any reality or realm or thing... beyond comprehension to the paramteres of our very mind and existance... even if we gathered all the minds of every angel and human and entitiy we dont know of... if any such exists... and took the greatest wisdom and refined our minds 7 more times into higher reason.... we still couldnt phathom a fraction of his true high greatness.... unapproachable light......
The God who has revealed Himself in Scripture is Triune. Any other concept of God is an idol.

I’m researching ancient Jewish philosophy. Kabbalah and such. The things before we had our written Bible as a guide. Hoping to put it on a channel of my own called Vanguard Christian.

its written he is the image of the invisible God... Yeshua or jesus is his word or expression.... he bears the name and image and face of God. WHen he said he came in his fathers name it was metaphorical and poetic.... full of meaning... He is the I AM as he even said "Before Abraham was I AM". He is the almighty... the alpha and omega and beggining and end, God od Gods and king of kings... As written. On his thigh its written as he is on the horse the one named the word of God in revelations... As his name is also written Emmanuel meaning "God with us".

The triune nature seems somewhat contradictory on the face of it. How can the father, the son and the holy spirit be distinct(Non-equal), yet equal? Or does the triune describe the unity of the three persons in the essence of those persons (Instead of concrete equality). "The son" = God, "The father" = God", "The holy spirit" = God, while "the son" =/= "the father", "the son" =/= "the holy spirit" , "the father" =/= "the holy spirit". This seems to violate the transitivity of equality principle(Law of identity and the law of non-contradiction). This leads me to believe that the essence is the unity across each of the persons of God. Is this correct?
Ancient gnostic christians believe in 1 God in "many". Hinduism also 1 God (Bramah) manifested in many (millions of gods and godesses). God is omnipresent so He can be present in two or more locations at the same time. Triune God means Father, Son and Holy Spirit are God in subtance but they are different from each other.
Trinity:
One God (one "what").
Three persons (three "whos").
Three dimensional object manifests itself as three comprehensive two dimensional "perspectives".
Square, triangle and circle are contradicting each other. But in "higher" reality they are one object.
One incomprehensible "what" and the comprehensible "whos"

The teachings that Jesus was the reincarnation of Confucius, Buddha, and a number of other great teachers and philosophers - founders of the world’s great religions. His idea was that God has been progressively revealing His Truth through the ages to various nations of people, and that the same “enlightened One” reincarnated at specific intervals in history to be the Revealer of that Truth. In his view Jesus was the ultimate and final reincarnation, at last bringing to men the highest Truth and Revelation of God. It was a beautiful and highly intellectual treatise. But that teaching comes, of course, from so-called “Metaphysical Christianity” which in various of its aspects is related to, and one spirit with, the occult. If you find that difficult to believe you have only to investigate one of the largest and most prominent of the Metaphysical publishing houses - Devorss & Company - and compare the broad spectrum of books they offer, a revealing mixture of Metaphysical Christianity and the Occult. Without any doubt whatever all such teachings are “doctrines of devils.”
This is unbiblical pablum that has nothing to do with the real Jesus.
Real Christianity is beautiful.

This video is not promoting those views. We're talking about Christian metaphysics, meaning the biblical view of reality.
The word metaphysics refers to a study of ultimate reality. The Bible is clear that the Triune God of Scripture IS ultimate reality.
He is the Creator, and we are His creations. We have sinned against Him, and His Son Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation.
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died for sinners like you and me. He was buried and was raised to life on the third day, according to the Scriptures.

I realize now that you were not advocating for those unbiblical views.
Man I got excited for this video and then when you said that the Bible teaches God is triune I was let down. No where in Scripture does it say that. If you’re going to take fundamental principles from Scripture and apply them to the nature of reality and the universe, it better be EXPLICIT, not the Christian religion’s faulty understanding of the Bible. Do better.
haha-"Do better" is usually a saying of the woke, so it's funny to hear it coming from someone who claims to take the Bible seriously.
But you're very wrong about what the Bible teaches about God's nature. The Trinity is a doctrine clearly taught by the Bible. God is one God eternally existing in three persons.
I understand this video disappointed you, but I believe the Lord wanted you to see it.

@@TheThinkInstitute I encourage you to look into the arguments a Unitarian makes. I was a Trinitarian my whole life. Until I looked where the church told me not to.
@@jonathancollins1099 Why would you assume I haven't looked into those arguments and even debated with unitarians? I have studied the nature of God extensively, I have an advanced degree in philosophy of religion and actually run a Christian worldview ministry and training program. I'm not bragging (what a strange thing to brag about), but only letting you know that biblical theology and philosophy, specifically metaphysics, is one of my fields.
I say this respectfully, but nothing in the world makes sense if God is not Triune, let alone God's revelation in Scripture.
What church told you not to look into unitarian arguments? Again, respectfully, but that was wrongheaded. Biblical Christianity has nothing to fear from Unitarianism!
