I think the man who got attacked was not as clear of a case though. He seemed a little "woo woo" and like he was going to describe some experience he had because he said the dog winked at him. He could have been trolling or genuinely a misguided, eccentric person. The point is we will never know because the brother reacted so fast. While I agree it would be better to be patient, not every Daeee has the same level of patience. There is also cultural differences at play. He's from there, he knows how to deal with people who are out there only to ridicule Muslims. If it was just one thing you could argue that he wasn't trolling. But he said before that he read in the Quran that Allah was the Messiah, which is highly unlikely and already made me suspect he was not sincere. Then he removed all doubt.

He is from Jordan and one if the most polite and friendly gentleman I have ever met! When I make my declaration of faith my biological family and people believed to be friends WILL turn their backs (perfectly OK). Am fully prepared to find new people in life (spiritual family and new friends).

I think the man who got attacked was not as clear of a case though. He seemed a little "woo woo" and like he was going to describe some experience he had because he said the dog winked at him. He could have been trolling or genuinely a misguided, eccentric person. The point is we will never know because the brother reacted so fast. The second video, the insulter was very obvious so at that point whatever the brother's reaction would have been more understandable in my opinion because it was very clear that the person was being insulting.

I’ve never heard a good explanation of why Muslims care so much when someone ‘insults’ the religion. Is your god’s ego that fragile? Or are your beliefs that fragile? Why not just say, peace be with you, and be on your way.
