Bucyrus 495HR loading Liebherr T282-B's

- Title says it all, a Bucyrus 495HR rope shovel loading Liebherr haul trucks. You can also see the Marion 8750 Dragline in the background, also you might hear the BI RH170B, Coal Haulers, LeTourneau L1850 Loader or a couple D11T's.
Once again another Diggin' Ditchin' N' Bitchin Production.
Awesome video
@tellusnolie You must be at Gibraltar. I run both 495s and 4100s, and the C series AC powered 4100s are as fast as the 495s, but have better availability numbers. So, yes, they will outload the 495s, and we have the numbers to prove it. Couple that with the fact that the 4100 is so much more controllable, and you see why the 4100 is an all round better shovel.
Great vid and machines!! Thanks for sharing!
Nice to see a Bucyrus rope shovel machine still working commercially.
They still do they just paint them yellow
Get closer! you know you wanna sneak in and get a ride along!
Uauuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!! Big truck is fantastic!!!
@Bauzaunvideos It is!
that bucket is massive, makes those haul trucks look small!
Slumpy The Hare 82yd3
@FUCKINROCKIT Nope just have connections.
great video i have visited the mine
more vids of this please. they are great :)
@casecx700 80yd.
@25mfd We'll I'd hope so. I'll be sure to check that out but I think I've already seen that one and commented on it.
Nice work man, but sitting here watching the vid I kept wondering "Damn, how long would that thing take to grease with little blue grease gun I have??".
great video thats some great kit there much bigger than what u see in english coal mines we have like 150ton haul trucks i dont think there is a single t282 in the whole country would be great to see more videos of them
@blygy I'm sorry, what are you telling him tomorrow?
@jetspaul It's Wab.
Hi, what is the purpose of the Marion machine? I just see it taking material from one place and putting it on another.
It is doing similar work as the shovel and trucks, but it has enough reach that there is no truck required, and the bucket is about the same size as a truck box so you can see how much more efficient it is. This is a strip mine so everything is done in a long narrow strip. The dragline is able to sit on top of the unmined strip, reach all of the overburden on the entire width of the strip and it casts it onto the previously mined out strip beside it. Essentially the whole mine is planned out where the dirt is flipped over once and that’s it. The shovel and trucks take off the wetter layer until they are on suitable ground for the dragline to sit, then the dragline removes the overburden off the ore, then shovels and a loader mine out the coal, and the dragline follows along stripping the next area and filling in the old.
ruclips.net/video/0gTx7Lxx28E/видео.html here’s a good shot of how it all works
Ok, thank you, you were very kind.
If I undestand correctly, the dragline only removes the dirt to access the rich soil and then places it at the already extracted area.
@@luisp7494 yes, that’s exactly what it does!
@generationll Well kinda...the other dragline is bigger. Good eye though you are one of the first people to figure out the channel change.
@farmerleach This is not the "Wab" mine.. This is Highvale mine on the south side of the lake.. "Wab" AKA Whitewood has shut down now..
This has to ben the Trans Alta Mine at Wabaman Lake west of Edmonton, I know they use Letourneau Loaders and Lieberr 282's, Although I think there might be a mine down in the crownest pass as well. PLease let me know on this one I am very curious. Oha ya another great vid by the way. I sunk a D6 at work yesterday, took two more D6's plus a 450 Hitachi to pull it out, unbelievable mud...
@alco424 Now Brian...
@vantagetes I'm going to assume the company informs the operators, from time to time, the results of their efforts in relation to their production totals.
And as much as that thing costs, he already knows. LOL!!!
P&H has a youtube channel. Check out their walk around of the 4100 cable shovel.
Pretty impressive.
I operate a 495 HR at a BC, Canada mine. To say a P&H 4100 will out load a 495 now CAT 7495 is wishful thinking. With the easyfill bucket, incredible amounts of AC power it puts out less than one minute time cycles with 3 pass loading, add 25 for 4 pass. This just happens to be a very slow operator, perhaps just in his/her freshman year.
@mgmg385 Usually, videos of the T282B are pretty boring, as they spend most of their time sitting around the shop.
@letsdig18 Those videos will be up soon enough.
@blygy No problems! What do you do at the mine?
@vantagetes It was actually directed at 25mfd.. About how slow the cycle times are.. Sorry.. I am new to this You Tube postings
@SprinterD Still with the big blue.
we need a in cab view from the bucyrus please
@Sjofugla It's in the works.
These are the biggest equipment you have shown so far.I assume that Burnout 8506 and Vantagetes have merged
@25mfd I'll wait here, you can walk down there and tell him...
If you want I will let him know tomorrow at work..
@Bomaz727 400 ton.
8200 right?
Edit 8750 oh
So what do you recon? The 495 in Cat colours soon since they bought bucyrus?
Quiero trabajar ahí...I would like to work in that mine
earh is moving =)
how big is the bucket on the Bucyrus??????
Looks like Big Muskie is trolling in the background.
You do realize Big Muskie no longer exists?
frmerrin2 dude I'm joking around and yeah he was scrapped in 1999
Also the captain no longer exists
where are you at? no more kidco?
is it electricly driven?
what size haul trucks are they
ima buy the model but its orange
Does each shovel have an oiler?
No just one oiler for the two electric shovels per crew. Each dragline however has an oiler to itself per crew
Where is it?
As slow as the cycle time is for that cable shovel, that operator better have a full bucket, EVERYTIME.
I want buy one
what mine is this?
the 4100xpc can do it faster....
I would be a production line operator in a 30 tone machine over this boring as shit. after a while i would shoot myself. zero skill
