    Excellent work!
    I don’t think people realize how much planning, calculating, shopping, tools, time, programming, fixing mis-calculations, and all the other steps it takes to do this, then add on the video filming and editing. Then they want more… a full step by step video instructions with parts list. They should feel blessed you showed what can be done, let the people study and figure it out for themselves, no shortcuts.

    This indeed is a true craftsman at work. This guy took an ordinary Lexus RC and through time and patience he was able to make a person go DAMN, THAT WAS TIGHT!!! KUDOS TO YOU DOS :O)

    This is just unreal. Wish we could have seen the inside a little better since you went above and beyond to do the center console lights. You sir are brilliant at this stuff. Well done. I love this kind of stuff. You should build your own model and do it that way

    Wow very impressive! As a kid I was in to model cars but nothing of this level or skill & detail!! But this was 39yrs ago! Still not a bad hobby to relax the mind after a rough few days of work & if you have the passion!!!! The imagination is limitless!

    I use two Ni-MH batteries(1.2V x 2 = 2.4V).
    The step up DC/DC converter is HT7733A(From DC2.4V to DC3.3V).

    I guess you can use the diecast body as a common ground, so less wire is required to run back and forth ;)
    The magnet and reed switch part really got me! Amazing job!

    I have used a part of cheap transparent plastic case and CD case.
    I'm unfamiliar with the quality of materials.
    Perhaps it is styrene(styrol) or polystyrene.

    I made the blinkers parts from a cheap transparent case.
    The high mount stop lamp lens is a part of Compact Disc case.

    Wow, this is amazing. Love your video. Its incredibly lot of work, now I can fully understand why my models with lights cost so much. I have a BMW Z4 (modelllichtsysteme) and Koenigsegg CCX (blueswimma) but none of them have radio controlling, only buttons.
    I just bought my first car since I get my license soon, would it be possible for you to make a car for me? Mazda MX-5 true red. Look forward to hearing from you.

    I didn't count the time accurately.
    It took about two weeks working a few hours per day.
    It took one month for making this tutorial video.

    For what you pay in regards to a highly detailed model from Auto art and Minichamps and etc. They should come standard with lighting. Excellent craftsmanship though...indeed.

    10:25 was the most creepiest moment, when the hand starts coming in. It looked like a legitimate car and when the hand open the door I was like WTF.....!!!!!! Lol

    I light cars too. Microcontroller sure ups the game. What kind of microswitch did you use? the only small ones I could find burn up even with led power. I had to run them through and SSR to run a .30ma relay. Pain in butt and takes up a lot of room.

      I didn't use microswitch.
      I use reed switches and IR remote control in this LFA.

    I use 3mm, 5mm LED, and 0603(1608), 0805(2012), 1206(3216) SMD LED etc.
